When Percival threw his plate at the mosp he instantly ducked under the table to prevent the overweight wasp from seeing him. However, when his eyes picked up it appeared that the blow had only made it more angry than before. Suddenly, something big landed on the table in front of him, its attention turned on a bunch of flowers. You guessed it, it was another one of those mosps. Percy ducked behind the table again and thought of something he noticed, if those things are attracted to flowers maybe he could make a plan out of it.
“It was leaving people alone and letting them escape you Gobshite*!” said a girl with an unusual accent to her voice. Her face was familiar from his time at hogwarts, but all she was to him was a fellow Slytherin. Percy rolled his eyes at the girl and quickly took another glace at the flowers, if the thing he just did was stupid, then this may be the next level up "Coinnigh do theanga!" he shouted over to her before quickly jumping to his feet and grabbing the flowers in his hands.
"Come on you bloated fly, over here!" he shouted once more, hoping the mosp on the table would follow him. Percy waved the flowers in front of him to catch the mosps attention, his gaze sometimes looking at the girl who was about to shoot a spell at #Mosp 6. If the fly was heading towards him he would turn around on his heels and start running towards mosp#6, his head constanstly turning to see where it was "I'm going to bloody regret this..." Percy grunted under his breath, while his heart was beating double time.

Secret Blossom Ball
The moment when the whole ball was brightened up by countless Lumos, now everyone could see what those strange buzzing noises came from. By Merlin's beard...how did these magical creatures appear on the Hogwarts' ground? Griseldis's first instinct was her friends' well-being and she quickly held Alan's hand who was standing side by side with her. As much as she wanted to help but learning from her last lesson from the Masquerade ball and the words her grandfather once told her when she returned home during the holidays:Interacting with @Alan Noble @Lark Flaer @Allister-Jameson MacAllister
She already regretted asking Alan to join her in this secret ball, nothing was under control at all. For that mistake, she would make a hard decision that others might not like. She would take her friends to leave this place of madness. It was clear to her now that all the ball events are truly cursed in Hogwarts, she would never join any and would not ask anyone to join a new ball ever again. Griseldis wouldn't risk her life and the lives of her friends the third time. While witnessing the entire chaos unfold in front of them, this time it was anger boiled inside her and was very disappointed on how this ball turned out in the end. But at the same time, she felt pity for those who worked so hard creating this secret ball. And sadly, the situation was beyond her to do anything about it. Her friends' lives were her top priority in this critical moment.Griseldis, it was right to try to save people from danger but you can't be everyone's hero. You can't take away everyone's pain, solve all their problems, and make them feel happy with themselves and their lives...however, you can be a hero to the ones who are close to you.
At first, Lark wanted to help someone who caught on fire but frozen right on the spot, Griseldis was relieved when the Scottish boy went to gently bring the poor Ravenclaw girl back to reality before her. Although what AJ did next caught Griseldis fully off guard, her face burned a bright red when seeing what was displayed in front of her but immediately shook her head so she could focus on the current situation. "Lark! AJ! We're leaving! Like right now!!", Griseldis shouted as loud as she could to get their attention. Luckily they were very near the entrance and none of the Mosps had noticed them yet so it would be a good chance to escape.
Turning her back from the madness, she didn't forget the hold Alan's hand and gave him an apologetic look, "I'm really sorry for dragging you into this, Alan. I promise I will never force you to accompany me in these kinds of unpredictable events ever again. You have my words." With that being said, she hoped Lark and AJ would leave with them, away from this all.
Action: Escaping the Secret Ball with Alan Noble, Lark Flaer, and Allister-Jameson MacAllister for good just to bring them back in the Hogwarts castle safely!

Unwilling to give the part-Veela the recompense she so desired. Cruel truly, they had no affection for Thomas LeStrange and yet they protected him from her wrath. Dangerous choices, attempts to immobilize her so that she would be left defenseless to his reckless asperity. Failing that, intercept their blows with their body. Short-sighted, once felled the barrier that was once their common but now bruised face, their bout could continue unhindered.@Jack Burnett, @Ruka Tân, @Thomas Lestrange, @Persephone Barret and @Oliver Hart
She gave Jack away, he was never hers anyways. She gave him to a smaller...Jack? Perhaps Parcelsus. She was not even certain any longer, the attempt to appear respectable and a few inches being their only defining factors. She wondered if the small one was her, no not even the actual Parcelsus was ever hers. Don't-- It would be ultimately a waste. A desperate pursuit of not the improbable but the impossible. He was an ally of Thomas' as well as Jack's, that much she could identify. She was a fool and that recognition sickened her.
She desperately sough some semblance of comfort but found little. Not in Jack or his look-alike, certainly not in Thomas or her peers. Just Oliver. A blonde she vaguely recognized from House Slytherin attacked her from behind. Apparently there was a grudge there, one she could not be bothered to recall. Either that or some sort of juvenile jealousy, however there was no risk, she had no want for her man. She would glance at the girl but not bother to acknowledge her. A torch exchange between small Parce and Thomas, their alliance solidified in her eyes. Another between Jack and smaller Parce.
Thomas marked the ground with fire whiskey and lit the ground ablaze. Whatever shall I do... an impenetrable wall of fire," she commented. "Not like I cannot walk around the fire... or step over it," she scoffed. Did he expect a wall of wire to separate Erin from her quarry? That did not even constitute for a bonfire, just a criminal waste of perfectly good fire whiskey. She would cast a single spell, the only one she needed --Dancing Feet. Leave the asshole river dancing in hell.
Beyond that, Jack was leaving. Parcelsus was malingering, likely to make himself troublesome. The blonde, nearby and obviously as weak as she was foolish. There was nothing left for her here, there would be no satisfaction past the point of acknowledgement now. She had her bag and her broom, something she never set down. The girl never even got a single dance. The broom was longer than her bag, that was why the shaft extended from the bag as it had. She simply reached behind her as if she was drawing a sword. The bluebottle, the minivan of brooms was awkwardly long but it got the job done. "Let's go Oliver," she announced even if there was a pause before she said anything.
Leave Thomas to his dance fever.
Leave Jack to his true intentions, whatever they were.
Actions: Erin takes out BlueBottle, tells Oliver to hop on. Once he joins her, she attempts to leave the pitch (and topic).
Just a trick of the lighting they said...

In dismal conclusion, probability sucked. Long before this moment had Persephone acknowledged that the unpredictable, relentless events of life were based on the concept of arithmetic and its many explanations of probability, that was a fact long dismissed. It wasn’t that the blonde was one to pull back on such recognition, retreat like a wounded dog in a thickening crowd, not that at all. If anything, that could only worsen a situation created by militias from hell themselves—well, not really. In a sickening way, perhaps this was the world reiterating its callousness and disinterest in the affairs of Persy, a setting sense of sonder that was so incredibly against her moral beliefs, or lack thereof. The deeper her mind dug into this sense of being and reality, the farther it got from the point at hand: she had missed.
Well, no. That phrasing simply wasn’t fair, though many would argue that viewing from the eyes of the victim was more humane, more pleasing to a world that preyed on compassion. Victims and criminals, though, were they really that different? Criminals often fell victim to their own will, their own crimes, a taste of their own medicine, unaware they’d been drinking it the entirety of their lives. Circling back, the rollercoaster of thoughts deciding that corkscrews were the only method of enticement, Persephone had not missed. If her prey, appearing active and rather muscular, would’ve been fu—dear god. The frustration and bewilderment were intense, at a severity that obviously was impairing her judgement. But, dearest apologies, there was no time for judgement. The attack had been evaded. A point for the other team, in this case, Miss Viole(n)t, damn walking tanzanite, but not a point deducted from Persephone. Miss Violet may have won, but the blonde had not lost. Oh, it even sounded like bullshit in her head.
It would be remarkably easy to blame Thomas Lestrange, his distractingly irksome behavior wouldn’t have flown very gracefully under the always-functional radar. The boy held a grudge like it was an oxygen mask, likely forgetting that Persy had saved his life out of some previously unknown mercy. Why, without her heavenly heroic actions, the poor boy would’ve fallen from a high ledge, certainly breaking one or two, perhaps all 206, of his bones. His words, not terribly cutting but inconvenient in the presence of more prominent characters, would be returned with just as much fire as he created. “Oh, you’re signed up for the memos? You must need it more than me, but I’m happy to attend for moral support.” Even after returning his spite, the phrasing would embroider her thoughts. Like any group therapist is prepared to deal with this.
Only visible from the corner of her eye, the ginger from hell was rapidly retreating the scene, seemingly towards a fire some distance away. Must be homesick, she’d think, smirking proudly to herself as her crosshairs once again aligned on Thomas. As notorious a predicament Jack’s pure existence was, it was one that required more attention than she was currently able to grant. Beside her, Miss Violet would utter the incantation without a solitary obstruction, a burst of flames igniting in front of her target almost simultaneously, a familiar look of complacency overcoming his visage. Regardless, that would likely be short-lived; the spell was, enigmatic to no one, successful.
This complicated the rest of the night in one elegant flow of movement, a single remark, a relatively insipid wall of flames. It was why plans were meant to cover all bases, be elaborate, indestructible; it was lost on the blonde how she didn’t envision that Thomas undoubtedly got on plenty of bad sides. The clarity of that now was infinite. While the boy would be under the effects of the spell, uncontrollable and, any other day, hilarious, Persephone would swiftly back away from the source of the charm, who seemed to have a similar plan to the one lingering in the Slytherin herself. “Alright, Lestrange. It’s been exceptionally fun…” The somber look on her face wouldn’t reflect these words, meaningless and the creation of ignorance. “But I’m afraid our business will have to wait. Believe me, I’ll be seeing you.”
With that final word on the matter and indifference toward a strained response if it were to come, Persephone turned on her heels and went for the entrance. Though the evening evidently defied the private dress rehearsals, exceptional progress had been made in many different fields, progress that would be better illuminated under the dimming love of the moon and its stars. Her hands instinctively went to the pockets of the coat she once again wrapped herself in, the dress that’s beauty had been taken for granted concealed underneath it. Escape in sight, along with whatever lie around it, the girl said a silent, solemn goodbye to the night, and all the potential that would die with it.

Interacting with: Sixth mosp, @Janet Jackson
The chaos was about to escalate even further.
Maybe if Ariana had been focusing more, she would have noticed what Janet was about to do. However it was her extreme trust in the girl behind her that seemed to compel her oblivious to the incident that was seconds before happening.
The brunette was not expecting to be temporarily blinded by the flashes of light that flourished brightly from the top of Janet’s wand. Ariana swerved, disorientated, unable to see as she lost balance on her broom. She had flown with her eyes shut before of course, [although it wasn’t always the best idea] but this was different. The flashes of light had dazed the gryffindor slightly and she started losing height on her broom as her brain cells danced around her head dreamily.
She became aware of the sound of faint buzzing nearby and her heart jolted fearfully as she remembered the mosps near the entrance. How was she to avoid their ambush when she had no clue where they were precisely hovering? She was sure the flowers in her hair were certain to attract the vile beasts and as she jerked her broom up in vain attempt to steer free from the monsters, she let out a scream as she felt the presence of once near her ear. The buzzing was nerve wracking, eerie, no doubt the flowers braided delicately into her brown locks were a contributing factor to the mosps position near her head. She managed to manoeuvre away slightly, still panicking, her vision returning as she blinked rapidly, coming to sense one more with her surroundings.
As she widened her eyes in an attempt to take in the chaotic scene around her, she realized exactly how close she was to the other mosps, who for some reason seemed agitated from previous occurrences. Maybe it was the fact that she knew at this point she was vulnerable, for she froze for a second as she watched one of the mosps get ever nearer to her foot. What was she to do while she was up in the air? She had nothing to hit them with.
Coming to a decision, [one that she was sure to regret later] she aimed a kick at the monster, gritting her teeth as she gripped her broom tightly, aware that Janet was still riding with her.
Option 1: Should Ariana’s kick be successful she would fly back down in an attempt to land and make sure Janet was okay, abandoning all attempts at escaping from the ball.
Option 2: However should Ariana’s attempt at kicking the mosp fail, she would most likely get stung feeling the searing pain dash through her leg as she lets out a gasp, losing even more height on her broom, eventually coming to land by the entrance.

A sense of accomplishment filled Lydia as the two safety fireworks light up and flew high in the sky, illuminating the night with their bright, red spark. Asking Atlas to be a part of the team had been an amazing idea, and the blue haired girl was incredibly happy that her Hufflepuff friend had the ability to create such fireworks; hopefully the professors in the castle would have noticed them, and therefore would have come to help the students.
As Lydia turned back around, she had just the time to see Aaron try to hit one of the two mosps that were, apparently, obsessed with the two of them; his swing though missed the giant bug (#9), that prepared to hit her with its stingers. The part-vela girl managed to dodge out of the way, landing on her side on the ground and dirtying her dress; if this would have happened under any other circumstances, she would have been so upset about ruining the fancy gown, but right now that was the last of her problems. Another mosp (#14) was headed towards her, and all that Lydia could do was quickly rollaway from it, just in time to miss those terrifyingly long stingers.
Both of the mosps were ready to attack her and Aaron again, and Lydia was starting to be slightly out of breath from all of the rolling, running and avoiding giant insects. She looked around for something that she could use as a weapon, since Aaron had the music stand now; the only thing she thought could possibly be some king of weapon were her shoes: sure, they weren't massive heels, but at least they were something!
Lydia quickly took off her right shoe and wielded it in her right hand, ready to hit the closest mosp(#9), as she placed herself next to her best friend. "These things sure are stubborn!" she commented, her voice slightly annoyed towards the insects. As she was waiting to (hopefully) hit the giant bug, the Hufflepuff girl finally noticed that the lights were back on, and she could properly take in the real state of things: the mosps were everywhere, stinging students and buzzing upset through the air. An even bigger sense of panic settled into her chest, right as she noticed two giant fires by the dance floor; she squinted her eyes, and all the colour drained from her face as she realised that the fires were students.
Oh God, what have we done?
Lydia thought as she take in the screams that were filling the air in the Quidditch Pitch; her fingers started to tingle, just as her heartbeat got quicker, signs that she was about to have a panic attack. She shook her head quickly, now was not the time to give in to that, not with two mosps coming for her and her best friend!

Secret Blossom Ball

Victor was not a brave young man. How could anyone be brave when they were suffering? When they were quite possibly dying. He knew how to quell the flames, the fire was coming from his blood, it was boiling. Every fiber of his being was ablaze, his nerve endings screamed because he could not. It was hard to breathe, dizzying. Why had they done this? Was it to hurt him? Did they know how much it would hurt him or was that irrelevant to the decision and they merely did because they could. Who would steal a vase of flowers and moreover who would set them on fire?
Sadly the same sort that would let him burn while they rifled through his bag. While they watched him burn. Desperate and somehow still in possession of his wand, he would try to extinguish the fire on the roses. There would be no aide for him, how or why would he expect otherwise. This is why secrets were best to remain as such. People are rarely satisfied as they demand more, as they meddle and take. Their presumptions reasons enough to define it as a need.
It was moments like this that he realized that he was going to die. He saw it out of the corner of his eye, a token attempt at the very least. Someone tried to extinguish the burning roses but through the smoky haze and the scent of burning meat that filled his senses he could not even be certain who it was. He took no time to ponder, his focus was on surviving and nothing more. However his shaking hand and his desperate choking incantation proved inadequate and the roses flared, reigniting the blooms that a goblet of water had quenched.
Marion would try, her cry muffled over the crackling and as much as he would loathe to realize his own screams. It hurt, everything hurt. She would try, but she did not know did she? She did not know that it was his blood, not his body that was on fire. That a romantic gesture in the presence of selfish, interposing peers could be so dangerous. He would try again, mustering the last of his strength knowing that another failure would kill him he would try again.
"...Extinguo."
Marion's potion had worn off. His strength, what little he had left him. Regardless of the result, Victor would collapse on the grass. This was not the way he should have went down. Not the way anyone wanted to go, not really. He would have thought that he would have went down protecting someone worth saving. With so much undone, it would appear that his story likely ends here.

This was a nightmare. Everything was exactly as Vladimir described. They were coming for them from every side. Dangerous, violent, intrusive. Victor was being burned alive, his screams were going to keep her up at night. She tried, she really did to save him but she did not know what to do. She did not know how to save him. She glanced back, Arlo was fending off a pair trying to steal his bag. He was overpowered but he tried.
Victor was on fire and the students who were not running from the great and terrible seeming insects were rifling through their - Victor and Vladimir's. Really? Yes, really. Their bags. The epitome of selfishness. Of curiosity and of might makes right. She was wrong, so wrong! "Lord forgive me," she muttered as she started to cry. It was not the first time in recent history and it would likely not be the last either.
The flames were not quelled by her extinguo. Nobody was helping him, except some Slytherin she vaguely recognized. She would see Victor collapse, her heart would sink as she realized the only reason he was still standing was because of the potion that she gave him. That he might be dead. She felt sick, she would shout to Arlo "leave the suppositious artifacts!" If what they owned was worth Victor's life, they can enjoy the little privacy they once had. They would find that what they gained was not worth a life unless Victor's life had none. But considering how they were treated, perhaps they had made the right choice in terms of what they valued.
If the flowers still burned, seeing that as Victor's final act she would try to extinguish the flowers. However, if the fire had ceased she would try to extinguish Victor between sobs.
It wasn't worth it.
"Extinguo!"
Regardless of her success she would scream for Vladmir. His name almost unrecognizable, she was in hysterics.

Interacting with: @Tyranni Whitethorn and @Vladimir Athanatos
Mentions: Thora Larkston, Marion Davenport, Rafael D'Spacito, Opeila Seilun, Flash Holmwood, Willow Anderson, and Selim Faust
At least one thing went their way, if you counted fixing a setback that was hardly necessary in the first place as much of an accomplishment. Still, with Tyranni unfrozen they had a better chance of making their own move instead of just dealing with what came their way. Bridget extended her hand to help the younger girl back up. "Thora had to leave. Well, not really leave... just, fires..." She gestured towards the flames. As much as she didn't like them splitting up--there was strength in numbers, after all, especially in numbers you could trust--sometimes the only way to address everything was to go separate ways.
Now that Tyranni was back in action, she had absolutely no idea what to do. People were on fire. Someone she wasn't working with had the bag and she wasn't even sure why everyone was after it, anyways. Sure, she wanted answers and she wanted them badly, but she'd only made her way over to stop Marion from incapacitating everyone. Fireworks were exploding above them, a clear distress call. By now there was no way the Professors hadn't noticed. But she wouldn't leave. Bridget didn't care if she got her first detention. What did it matter?
She turned in a circle, taking in everything she could. The best way to figure out what to do was to figure out what needed doing, after all. At least the lights that had strangely reignited made for decent visibility. A very large, very red giant bee was approaching their group. She felt a shudder run down her spine and for a minute all she could focus on were those deadly-looking stingers. With a shake of her head, she resumed her observation. It would leave them alone if they left it alone, right? The only reason students were getting attacked by the bugs was because they had started the aggression. Finally, her gaze landed on something she thought she could help with. Vladimir Athanatos.
How had she completely let him out of her sights? Bridget had come with the nearly sole purpose of figuring out how Vladimir was involved in all of this, yet she'd gotten caught up in more or less a recreation of the interrogation in the Owlery. She'd also come to prevent some of the disaster the ball was sure to entail, and four first years up against an older, stronger, more dangerous student definitely fit into that category. Opeila seemed to be fine, futilely holding Vladimir back. Flash was on the ground and looked fairly beat up, as did the girl next to him, who she vaguely recognized as the new Hufflepuff Keeper. Vladimir's attention was on another boy, though, and that was what worried her the most. True, their was a mosp in the area that had already been ticked off, but the older boy pulverizing a student took priority.
She turned to Tyranni. "Look, I'll be back if I can, okay? I've got to help Opeila with Vladimir. Watch out for the mosp." With that, she crossed the Pitch, weaving through screaming children and projectiles until she was within casting range. She still kept her distance to a degree; she didn't need to be within punching range. Flourishing her wand, she muttered the incantation, quiet enough to not instantly broadcast what she was doing but clear enough to not ruin the cast. "Flipendo." Best to get the attacking out of the way before the Professors showed up.
