To add: list of homes, special events advertisement section??? Directory on each post for easy navigation. Make code less ugly, but still mobile-friendly.

Welcome to the Neighborhood Nexus! This thread serves as a repository for all your character housing needs. The goal of the Nexus is to encourage player worldbuilding and interaction, by providing different player-cultivated spaces for character encounters. Participation is simple: all you need to do is create a thread representative of your character's home and fill out the form below. Once your application is submitted, your character's home will go into its respective list between two categories.

Name: Character Name.
Thread: House thread (or threads, if both a private and family residence are being registered)
Category: Private home or family home. Private homes are for adult characters, or characters that own or rent their residence. Family homes are primarily for students or characters that may still live with their kin, but they are not exclusive to these character groups.
Heads of House: Additional characters that live with yours- primarily those who would help with housing upkeep (so parents, roommates, partners, or spouses).
Region: Where the home is located on the globe (For example: North America, South America, Europe, etc. If your character travels frequently and does not have a set location for their residence, you can put abroad).
Location: Where the home is located in its region (if your character is abroad, you do not have to fill this out).
Extra: A title for your home(s), this is not necessary, but can be used to add a little flavor.

How many character homes can I register?
One, if your character is a student (family home). If your character is an adult they can register one family home and one private home, for a total of two homes.

What is the difference between a Family and Private home?
Family homes are owned by a character's immediate family (ancestral homes count as "family homes"). Family homes can be registered by both student and adult characters. Private homes are homes owned or rented by a character (or characters, if they live/rent with others). Private homes can only be registered by adults.

Are there any rules for creating a character home?
All OOC site rules apply, but how you manage your house thread is up to you. Players that join your home threads are required to respect and comply with any rules you set in place for your threads. This is nonnegotiable.

What if I make a new character house, but I already have one registered?
Link the new thread you made and I will update the list. Note that the new home thread will replace your previously registered character home.

Will this thread be moderated or checked for activity?
Not actively. There are no activity requirements to meet here, linked houses will only be removed if: a player has deactivated their account or they have requested removal from the repository.

Is this staff facilitated?
While I am staff, the Nexus has no link whatsoever to the team. This repository is by a player, for players.
