Backstory:
A Muggle life, parents died, and he lives with his Aunt, a nice lady. His parents died in a car accident while going on a ski trip. To this day, River hates everything to do with skiing.
Caused mischief not enough to get him in serious trouble. Often starts fights with bullies. He gets picked on quite a lot for being parentless and weird. And he usually responds fist first. He might be small, but he hasn't lost a fight.
Got his eyebrow split trying to do a stunt on his bike, leaving a scar that splits his right eyebrow.
Got arrested once for getting caught spray-painting. Didn't get charges pressed, but got grounded for life by his Aunt who never really punishes him.
Smart usually gets good grades despite neglecting homework. Always manages to pass tests,
Plays many sports and is on his school's soccer team. Races bikes and skateboards.
Often gets into mischief, has trouble sitting still. And can't focus for too long unless it's something he really likes.
Sinks hours into video games, watches anime and movies. His favorite movie is Ready Player One. And his favorite game is Cyberpunk 2077.
His aunt is his best friend. She's late 20s and took him in after his parents died. She's funny and supportive of whatever he does. She's barely an adult and is trying to be a food influencer; she currently has 300,000 subscribers. She even gets noticed sometimes while out with River.

At age 6, River had just lost his parents and was feeling immensely sad. He was too young to understand what had happened; he just knew he'd never see them again. He was sad, and angry. Why couldn't he see them? Now he was stuck at his Aunt's house. Feeling frustrated and throwing another tantrum because he couldn't see his parents, he ran around her house and stubbed his toe on a coffee table. The sudden burst of pain and anger and sadness exploded out of him, and a vase 3 feet away from him exploded into tiny glass shards everywhere. Accidentally giving him a few cuts. Aunt Jess rushed in and went pale at the sight. She didn't believe him when he said, "The thing just went boom," and it made him even more frustrated.
