Rosie was quite enjoying her second year thus far. Getting to come back to the place she really loved, Hogwarts, and seeing her friends again was all splendid! She felt a bit more at home at the school, as she'd spent an entire year there and was starting to get lost less and less.
Though, some old habits die hard, which included losing her way. However, today was one of the few days that she'd managed to make it to her destination, the Grounds, without anybody being asked for directional help or any clumsy moments! Score one, Rosie! Score...way to many, school with too many corridors!
As she sat down in the Grounds, pulling out a good book to read for a bit, she felt as the slight breeze ruffled both the pages and her hair, and she giggled slightly, arranging the curls back behind her ears to prevent them from flying into her eyes or mouth.
Suddenly, she heard a loud CRASH from somewhere near her, perhaps one of the trees. She assumed at first that it was just a fallen branch, because the school and therefore the plants around it must be pretty old.
After a minute or so, though, she decided to go investigate just in case, to make sure that nobody was injured by said fallen branch. She remembered how once, while she was playing in the woods somewhere around her house, she had been climbing up a tree. She had felt the sunshine all over her body and heard as the wind ruffled the leaves, and an overwhelming sense of peace had enveloped her. However, all of that peace had been shattered, as the branch beneath her gave out. She should have tested it, made sure that it was safe, but she was young. She hadn't understood the necessity of it, and had just assumed she'd be fine. However, as she tumbled down, she had very quickly realized that the double-checking was necessary. Somehow she'd been relatively fine, probably because she hadn't been tall enough to get too far up the tree. However she was a bit banged up, bruised and scraped, which had been enough to teach her the lesson of not climbing trees without making sure that the branch she grabbed onto was safe and could hold her.
All of that just went to say, she'd had plenty of experience with climbing trees and falling from them. She knew that it hurt. Therefore, if that bang wasn't a fallen branch but really was a fallen person, she knew that she had to go and check on them, to make sure that nobody was too injured...

Apples.
Leo liked apples.
Why? Firstly, He liked the color red. Secondly, the taste was heavenly, and the fruit was juicy. Biting into one feels like heaven. And the apples in the courtyard at Hogwarts...Ah. Chef's kiss.
So if you find Leo up in one of trees sitting on a branch munching on one of those apples, you needn't be surprised. Just like now. He'd been sitting on a branch for fifteen minutes, and he'd gone through two apples already, the cores lying on the grass below. His mouth was full, and his eyes were closed, savoring the juicy flavor of those.
He really had a soft spot for apples and hot chocolate.
Anyways, as he continued munching, he kept a lookout for anyone. He still didn't know whether just climbing up these trees and plucking these apples wasn't against the rules, and he'd rather hear if from a student than find it the hard way. As he continued eating, he noticed a few students here and there, but none wise enough to look at the trees. Well, the leaves were covering Leo up very well, so he wasn't that concerned on getting caught.
Creeeeak.
Leo looked down at the branch he was sitting on. Did it just squeak? It's not gonna break, is it? Leo hoped it won't, as then it would be a long way to-
snap. The branch broke.
Gravity suddenly made Leo's organs shoot up, and he tumbled down. One moment, the ground was inches from his eyes, the next moment, his backside crashed into the ground.
''Ouch.....'' He muttered, his eyes closing in pain and agony.

Sorry for the lateness Leo, life got crazy!
As she was walking to go and investigate the source of the large CRASH sound that she had heard before, Rosie was feeling a bit nervous. After hearing the noise, she'd heard someone say "ow", which proved her hopes wrong. She'd hoped it was only a branch or something of the sort falling from the great height, but branches aren't able to make sounds like that.
"Hello there?" she asked quietly, feeling a bit nervous. She didn't know who it was that had fallen, and hoped that whoever had said 'ow' was a nice person.
Though, to be honest, she wasn't too worried about it. She was in her second year of Hogwarts, she was feeling a lot more confident than she had her previous year. Whatever happened, she could definitely deal with it.
"Um...my name is Rosie! Rosalyn Willows! Do you...do you need help? I have plasters!" she called out, a bit louder this time, hoping that they would accept her help.
As she began to get closer to the tree that she assumed the fall had occurred from, she thought that she caught sight of a dark-haired boy. She hoped that he was alright, or at least alright enough for her to fix.
The Sky is Falling!
Leo just fell down from a tree onto his butt.
And obviously it hurt. But he didn't expect someone would find out.
So when a girl with wavy blonde hair approaches him, he could feel his face turn red slightly. Great. Not only did he fall, he's now gonna have to explain why was he in a tree in the first place.
He slowly got onto his feet, one hand on his back, because god, did it hurt. He smiled sheepishly at the girl. ''My name is Rosie! Rosalyn Willows! Do you need help? I have plasters!'' She said.
Now, those plasters might be helpful. Leo felt the place which took the brunt of the impact. No, maybe not. There was a hard bump, but no cuts. Not any better though. ''Thanks for offering, but I don't need them...'' He murmured, waving his hand. ''Glad someone heard though.'' He looked up at the tree. He then looked at the ground. The branch he sat on now lied on the ground innocently, as if it wasn't the reason for a guy's agony. ''Branch broke.'' He murmured, pointing at the branch. ''I'm Leo.'' He picked up an apple, and showed it to her. ''Want an apple?'' He asked with a sheepish smile.
Please don't ask me why I was in this tree, Leo thought. How would he explained he just wanted some apples?

How about Rosalyn asking exactly what Leo was doing in the tree?

You and I have very different definitions of lateness, you replied really fast, I'm crazy late! I'm back from camp though, and hopefully have a lot of time!
"Oh, that's alright! And you're welcome, I just always have them on hand! I'm crazy clumsy, so I need all the things for how often I fall and hurt myself..." Rosie said, feeling very proud that she'd managed to clean out her bag over the summer break and knew where everything was. No sweets wrappers or random flowers or crazy amounts of heavy books remained, just what she needed in a much more organized way! Though she really doubted it would remain like that for more than a few days...
"Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. I'm sure those trees are crazy old..." she said, beginning to contemplate just how old the trees could be. Since the school had been around for the longest time, perhaps the plants around it had been as well. She supposed there wasn't a way of her knowing, unless there was a spell for it. Welp, more reading for her to do later! Which she didn't mind at all, but instead looked forward to.
"Um, sure! Thank you so much!" she said, accepting the offer of the juicy-looking apple, picked from the tree. Or fallen from the tree, she would have no way of telling, and nor did she really care! An apple was an apple. As long as it wasn't poisoned, of course! Too many Disney movies watched as a young child made her a bit scared int hat moment, but she decided not to care, just taking the apple from his outstretched hand and biting into it.
Phew, no poison!
"If I may ask, Leo, it's great to meet you by the way, uh, why were you in that tree in the first place? Not judging of course, just curious!" she said, hoping that the question wouldn't come across as nosy or anything of the sort, since she genuinely just wanted to know.
The Sky is Falling!
She asked.
She actually asked.
He was supposed to explain why he fell from a tree. How?
At first, Leo felt at rest. When the girl said that she's also clumsy, he felt as if he'd found a long lost sister. No one understands clumsy people nowadays. Trip once in a library beside the wrong people and you attract crowd of angry girls.
And then she took the apple. She actually took it. Leo did not expect her to. He also was pleasantly surprised, that she was rather taking this all well. She didn't scream with astonishment, tease him, or comment rather rudely, which could be expected from someone who is faced with a dummy falling from a tree.
And then, she asked, ''If I may ask, Leo, it's great to meet you by the way, uh, why were you in that tree in the first place? Not judging of course, just curious!''
Seriously? Ben thought. After I built up such a good opinion about you, you completely shatter it with one sentence?
Well, she is still human. And humans have curiosity. Leo's shoulders slumped. He picked another apple, and looked at her. His backside still kinda stung. ''I just wanted apples... His face was burning. Any more embarrassment, his hair might decide to change colour. ''I like apples....and I climbed up the tree. I ate five apples while sitting on the branch. Then it broke...
