First Flying Lesson
I headed to the group of people. It was my first flying lesson and I was EXTREMELY nervous. Firstly, because I've never seen a broom, that you fly on, only in films. Secondly, I was afraid of highness, just a bit, but enough to make me feel quite uncomfortable. Thirdly, because most of my housemates already were telling stories about flying at home and riding a cool broom. For me, everything there was so new. I sighed, and hurried to the group. There were two rows of ordinary, quite old, brooms, lying the ground. The teacher was explaining some students the rules. I went closer, listening carefully. Rules seemed quite easy, but I knew that flying will be much more harder, that it seems. The teacher asked us to stand near the brooms, so the broom will be right under our right or left arm, considering what arm are you writing with. I chose a broom and stood nearby it. The teacher said, "Command it to go up, by saying loudly and clearly "UP!"". Everyone began to shout "UP!!!". I stared at my broom and said "Up". It slowly went up, but on the half way fell on the ground. I repeated and that time it gently went to my hand. I caught it and looked around, truing to find the teacher. When I found him, he praised me and asked to wait, until everyone will be ready. I felt very relieved. It was so good to feel that you are not the loser in something. After some time, everyone was holding their broom. The Professor named us some rules, that were very important to follow, unless you want to have consequences. I mentally wrote everything in my mind, thinking that I should write them somewhere. After that, I've heard the bell rang and felt a bit surprised - the lesson passed by so fast! However, I was very happy and couldn't wait to see what we are going to do in the next lesson.
