━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━sta 06|eva 05| str 03| wis 08| arc 07| acc 06━━━━━━Prodigal Astronomy Learner━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Fawkes was enjoying her experimentations but she needed a break from her more high stress ones. Today was going to be simple. She was just going to sit and stare at the ceiling and nothing else. It was much more peaceful than having to sit and wait for people to show up for her smoky room experiment or rush through crowds to place tables down.
Day 4 of her experimentations featured the gullible experiment. Quite frankly she struggled to figure out how she wanted to do this one at first. Normally she would go up to people and tell them gullible was written on the ceiling. But the main premise was that she had minimal intercations. So she decided to just sit in the classroom today.
This classroom was used quite often, so there would be a bunch of people moving back and forth. Not to mention most people already knew what it looked like which meant she could get a better sample of gullible people. She was sitting in the middle of the room looking up at the ceiling with her notebook open in front of her.
If anyone were to enter and ask what she was doing her reply would simply be that she was looking at the stars. If a person looked up she would make a count. If they walked out without looking up she would mark a diffrent area of the page. Simple as that.
OOC instructions
- All are welcome to perform in the experiment!
- To participate all you need to do is put one post mentioning you entered the room, looked at her and what you did.
- For godmodding Fawkes: You can say she told you that there were stars on the ceiling
- There's a two week deadline for this. After the two weeks are up i'll post a conclusion post based on the results of the experiment and update the experiment index.
- The link to the experiment index

The middle of the week isn't something particularly exciting. Robin had two consecutive History of Magic classes in the morning—don't get the wrong idea, he loves the class—he just doesn't find the schedule positive or negative. Wednesday would be the worst day of the week if it had flying classes, but that isn't the case. It also doesn't have DADA, which would've made it the best, especially if it's coupled up with History.
Robin gripped his satchel strip with both hands, nodding to the few peers he can recognize, ignoring the others. By ignore, more like subconsciously observe and avert his gaze anytime they show a hint of looking over. This was his usual way of walking down the hall, and it wasn't any different today. The boy arrived at his classroom uneventfully, being one of the earlier students in class as always.
Something out of the ordinary occurred to him after a few minutes. Robin was, of course, previewing the content of this upcoming lesson, but his eyes did occasionally scan the room for any concerning abnormalities. From the second he walked in till the moment right before this, he noticed a girl staring at the ceiling. His first thought was that she might've been thinking to herself, or daydreaming, maybe. The action itself isn't weird, but the time is. Several minutes had passed but the brown-haired girl sat still as a hill. Robin isn't "concerned" or anything, he's just curious if there's anything worth looking at on the ceiling.
A few more seconds observing the girl, Robin finally tilted his head a bit, enough to observe whatever the fellow Ravenclaw was looking at.
Nothing.
More accurately, it's just a perfectly fine ceiling.
Okay, she's probably just lost in thought. Robin, thinking that he confirmed his initial guess, tossed the curiosity to the depths of his mind to focus his attention on studying.

#4 The Gullible experiment
It was the middle of the week, and Lenora was already tired. It was thanks to the warmer weather that was slowly arriving in June.
The curriculum included two flying lessons. She was used to the Hogwarts classes, but she could never get used to the flying lessons. Because of her poor eyesight, she had difficulty balancing on her broomstick. Her body could get sunburned if the weather was clear, and she would get sunburned if she stayed on it for too long.
With her bag slung over her shoulders, she entered one of the empty classrooms. There were two students in the class. Lenora narrowed her eyes; they were both in Ravenclaw house. One of the students seemed to be studying. But he moved a little closer to understand the other student better.
The girl's books were open, but her head was turned towards the ceiling. She was staring at the ceiling.
"Hey, are you okay? I hope everything's alright."
The girl's answer had raised questions in Lenora's mind. But the girl's relaxed demeanor made Lenora realize she wasn't thinking too much.
"If something bad happens, you can tell me. I mean, I can listen."
Lenora said nothing more, sat down in an empty seat, and took her books out of her bag.

xxxWalking through the hallway – frankly, it would be more accurate to call it striding – Ellaine weaved to the right and left, dodging other people’s paths as headed for her destination. A frown marred her face, though if questioned of the reason behind her displeasure, she’d decline and say she was fine. Really, it was simply her resting face; was it her fault that today was the day that her facial muscles decided that relaxing meant not smiling?
Regardless, as she made her way to the classroom, she kept her hand looped around her satchel, fiddling with the handles every now and then. She had been planning on… well, nothing. Attending her class, maybe— why was she in a hurry? Well, I don’t know, she would say, is there a reason for me to walk so slowly…?
The doors were already opened by the time she arrived, not that she expected otherwise, but she did hope that there weren’t many inside. Ellaine did not halt her steps, even as she took turns and turns to head towards the opposite side of the room, intending to claim a seat near the window.
Of course, she happened to cross a brown-haired girl on the way, looking absentmindedly up at the ceiling, who… looked oddly familiar. Hesitating, she turned around, wondering if the proper thing to do was to say hello – she’d met her, she recognised her, should she greet her, too? Ellaine wasn’t sure…
The decision was thankfully taken away from her when Chaos, without turning her head, said out loud, “There are stars on the ceiling, do you see?”
Ellaine looked up without thought. The ceilings greeted her happily, just as they always did. She looked back at Chaos, who didn’t smile jokingly, or laugh, nor twitch. A second glance up, just because, before replying, “The skies are clear today, I agree.”
She wasn’t really lying. The window outside did display a nice view, skies currently displaying the sunny sun without clouds, for once. A small nod, before she headed for her desk.
