The Giant and the Human
Continuation from Break 'n The Bairds (IC Date: October 31st 2025 at 5:00)
He tried running off from his classroom! Running from him! Absolutely not. Elmo stormed into the corridors as if he were a tumbleweed with legs and a goal. His shirt didn't fit right thanks to being manhandled by a half giant toddler with anger issues. His jaw was clenched so tightly, he felt immense pressure on his teeth as if they were ready to crack. "REM"
He stopped himself. Just barely. He was not going to scream his brother's name down the corridors as if like some deranged mother calling her child in for dinner. He had dignity. Somewhere... probably...
Instead, he marched after the boy with long and furious strides, his boots slapping the stone floor hard enough to echo across the long room. "Bloody snapped my wand clean in half, tried to lift me like a sack of potatoes, flipped off his own professor, punched a student." He muttered with his voice sharp and venomous.
He looked at a sandal in the middle of the corridors. He knew who it belonged to. It was Remy's sandal, and Elmo picked it up and only increased his pace, the sandal resting in his clenched hands as if it were a weapon as he uttered another breath. "Oh brilliant, he's shedding."
He drew closer and closer to Remy and finally he approached him. Elmo's voice dropped into a low and lethal growl. "Remy Break." Elmo closed the distance and held up the sandal, not yelling, shoving or touching him. "You dropped this." He said, voice flat and deadly. "Brother."
Elmo shoved the sandal into Remy's chest, then stepped back with his eyes burning. "And if you ever flip me off again, I will personally drag you back to class by your ear like the overgrown toddler you insist on being." He stood in place, staring at Remy with a lack of amusement in his face.

The Giant and the Human
Remy stared at the sandal shoved into his chest and at Elmo. Something in his brain, as already established was practically empty, snapped. He had the same instincts he had in the classroom just moments prior. He moved. He didn't think or speak. With a sudden and violent jerk, Remy took the sandals out of Elmo's hand and threw it down the corridors, smacking the wall with a loud thwack that made two passerbys jump.
Then Remy grabbed Elmo. Not gently nor carefully, instead, he grabbed him by the front of his shirt with both fists bunching the fabric and slammed him back against the stone wall hard enough to knock the wind out of him. He lifted Elmo up so that he could be as high as the portraits were, before dropping him again to let him stumble.
He was angry. That much was clear. But he wasn't done.
Not even close.
Remy's breathing was heavy and uneven, as if he were a bit out of breath but he was in great shape. His fists were still clenching Elmo's shirt and when Elmo was dropped, he didn't step back, instead he stepped forward to crowd Elmo against the wall like a cornered animal.
He grabbed Elmo's upper arm and yanked him forward so hard Elmo stumbled straight into Remy's chest and before Elmo could regain balance, Remy shoved him backwards into the wall, harder this time.
If Elmo were to try to straighten his shirt, Remy would not allow it, as he had reached out and flicked his collar upwards, then waited for it to slap the neck before he grabbed it again and yanked sideways hard to stretch the collar so badly it wouldn't fit right.
If anyone were to say that Remy was bullying the Professor. Well. They wouldn't be wrong. Elmo had to have been livid beyond all hell at this point now. He had to have been!

The Giant and the Human
Elmo hit the wall with a grunt, the air knocked out of him again in under a minute. His shirt was stretched, his collar crooked, and somehow his hair seemed like it was electrocuted. Elmo ignored the passing students and stared at the half giant whose chest was heaving with his fists clenched like a furious toddler in a giant's body. Elmo only straightened up, not because he was scared because.. well. He was fearless!
He smoothed the front of his shirt with shaking hands from the humilation and his jaw was clenching tighter than it was before. He lifted his head and looked Remy dead in the eyes. "... You're done." He didn't yell at him or snarl or raise his voice.
He snapped his fingers ominously. He was casting the Expulso Curse, enough to send him flying back into a wall with the hardest impact Elmo could offer (he has 27 arcane power). Remy stepped forward and closed the distance. "You want to throw me around? Fine, but I get to throw you too." He snarled and flicked his wrist. He cast the scouring charm on his clothes. The spell would hit kind of like a slap, scrubbing the dust, dirt and grime off of him roughly, so rough that Elmo looked away as the shirt snapped tight against his chest and loosened in the areas that weren't being scrubbed then tightened then loosened like the clothes that needed to be ironed.
"Oh look at that. I can clean you up better than your mother ever did. That stinky disgusting woman that raised a son who acts no better than dog poop in the yard."
He stood in front of Remy and snapped his finger, this time uttering the words. "Accio Sandal." Remy's sandal that he had thrown flew back towards Elmo but Elmo ducked as it flew over his head and slapped Remy in his face.
He extended out a hand. "Truce? You know neither of us win no matter what we do, so why don't we be good brothers and stop."
Elmo wouldn't give a detention, and Remy wouldn't get in any more trouble. They could go on with their day.

The Giant and the Human
When his own sandal flew back and hit him in the face, he had a look of shock but also subordination. Remy blinked to try and erase the little sting the hard-soled shoe gave him between his two eyes. His pride stung more than his head did. Elmo's actions stacked on top of the fury already boiling in his chest, and for his own brother to say some unknown word and give him his hand?
Oh, what an idiot! Remy stared at the hand as if it were some sort of trap, allowing his hot and pungent breath to hit Elmo's hands so that he could take it as a warning to recoil and leave. He stood up and towered over Elmo, tightening his jaws and narrowed his eyes as if he were ready to explode again.
Baby you're a firework, come on let your colors burst, make them go oh oh oh you're gonna leave them all in awe awe awe
He flicked his gaze to the sandal that now laid askew on the floor then back at Elmo. One of these days, Remy was going to run him up the flagpole. He stepped back half a step as if to give Elmo a false sense of space.
Remy heard the magic words from a few [faceless] npcs in the corridors chanting 'fight fight fight'. Well, if they were so inclined to utter the words, then it was just meant to be. Remy's lip curled menacingly. "You try again? That?" He muttered with his voice low and coarse, like he had gravel in his throat with his vocal cords trying to make out the words with those obstructing obstacles in the way.
Remy didn't bother waiting for an answer because the moment the words left his mouth, his shoulders rolled forward and his muscles bunched under his shirt. He lunged forward, slamming his hands against Elmo's shoulders. His intent was to send him tumbling backwards but he wouldn't be done yet.
A fist came for his eye. Another fist came for his leg, to give him a dead leg. He held back for now, his fists tightening and whitening at his sides as he sat on Elmo's stomach, feeling like he now got the upperhand.
He wasn't going to back down or calm down. He was a firework with a short fuse.

The Giant and the Human
Remy's weight crashed down on him and on top of having been shoved, punched twice in two areas where it hurt, Elmo felt like his breath was taken from him with a sharp grunt. The moment Remy's shadow swallowed his field of vision, Elmo's hand snapped upward as he repeatedly snapped his finger as if to call a butler. He nonverbally uttered the spell Immobulus. The snapping was his way to cast wandlessly.
The spell burst from his hands and froze Remy as he put his clenched fists to his side still sitting on his stomach. Well. he'd be stuck like that for a second. Now, Elmo didn't care if he had his nose broken by his pathetic little brother, but what he did care about was that he did not want to be the victim that was sat on by a giant child who might accidently let out a biological war crime (or purposefully).
Elmo's face twisted in disgust as he tried to shove Remy's full height and weight pinning on him. "GET OFF" He hissed, despite knowing that Remy was temporarily frozen, but his voice strained. "Before you suffocate me or Lear forbid, gas me."
He shoved against Remy's immobilized shoulder trying to slide out from under him. His eyes burned with fury, humiliation and yet also exhaustion. He slid out, and he watched Remy fall backwards, sadly in the same spot he was frozen in.
"Remy, I have had enough of you." Elmo commented, though he knew this wasn't his signature idiotic commentary. Did having a brother change anything? No. He was raised among a bunch of men with way too much testosterone. He dusted off his ruined shirt, annoyed at how Remy was so destructive. "You are unbelievable." His voice dripped with venom. "I offer you a truce and your first instinct is to sit on me? Were you raised in a damn barn?" He lowered his voice a little more. "You are going to get up, and you are going to stop behaving like a feral toddler."
Elmo leaned in close and dropped his voice to a micro-whisper, only Remy could hear. "The only person permitted to be a jackass is me. Not you." He pulled back then he watched the spell loosen. "You are going to go talk to Jessamine Lancaster and have a talk with her. I will write her an owl to let her know why you are going, when, and ensure that she handles you because if I have to, you're eating every bit of the dirt in the ground based on how you treated me. You [bleep] oaf. Also, find out if she's single."
He watched the spell fizzle completely and Remy regain his control. He wasn't sticking around. But he would ensure that Remy would go.
