## September, 2025xxxx
Hogwarts Grounds & The Great Hall, Hogwartsxxxx
xxx“Don’t get all sad now! It's not goodbye yet. Come join us at the Gryffindor table. It all nice and cozy there, ain't that right, Paul?” Tilting her head to the side, Ellaine looked at Skylar, mouth forming a minute ‘o’ in surprise. The nice kind of surprise, of course – not the fact that they could sit at other tables… she’d seen a few mixing up here and there, but more of the fact that she was invited to another. It morphed into a smile quick enough, and Ellaine nodded in agreement.
“Well, as long as I don’t start randomly roaring like a lion…” she trailed off, waggling her eyebrows – well, she tried. She only succeeded at raising them simultaneously.
“Come on! Dinner is waiting. We can say our goodbyes later, which is ridiculous considering we're going to see each other again anyway, but a little sentimentality never hurts anyone.”
Approaching the steps, Ellaine muffled a laugh, going up in small hops. “True, true, that…” Pushing open the door to the Entrance Hall, she was greeted with the sight of students mingling about, perhaps having finished their own dinner earlier on. The sight sparked her hunger, and she felt her stomach grumbling in not-joy at being denied food. Ellaine ignored it – they’re already here, and besides! Her mind was still distracted, mulling over Skylar’s words…
With the Great Hall suddenly in sight, she clapped her hands together, a glint shining in her eyes. It appeared that the metaphorical light bulb had lit up for her.
“Speaking of sentimentality… what are we?” Well, if that didn’t sounded weird, she’d bite her toe. “I mean— does flying together warrant a name? Something? The… Wayfarers, Wayfinders, Voyagers, Trailblazers, Pathfinders…” Falling silent, she pulled up a frown, having exhausted every ‘ers’ she could think of.

Climbing, for Beginners
“Eh— I dunno… can’t we just wish it out loud? Maybe they’ll pop into existence—like magic.”Reducio//Last reply too! Bye, bye, our super long, exciting thread! Looking for others! @Ellaine Weatherby @Skylar Blue
"See, Turner? Ellaine agrees with me. We're in a school of magic for Merlin's sake..."
Paul pouted his lips, rising his index finger. His eyes sparked with disagreement. "See, this is where you're wrong, Sky. El's just said that 'cause she's balancing on a thin ice between us and doesn't want to take either's side." Explained the boy his impression of the situation, then breathed in to continue. "I'm sure you're both aware that stuff doesn't just pop to existence. Transfig, lesson one. You can transform something into a muffin, yes, but not make a muffin out of thin air." Paul seemed to be really enjoying lecturing two girls of wizarding origin about the facts from wizarding world. With his last sentence though, a pensieve expression just popped up to existence on his face, opposing the point he was trying to make.
"A muffin spell, by the way, would be cool... does it exist? We should try to create it, if it doesn't yet!" Sighed the boy, shaking his head. No, Paul. Don't get distracted! You're making a point here! - But... muffin spell! Am I not allowed to think about that? -N. O! "But that's not the point. The poin is that muffins poping up into existence, is impossible, even in magical world."
As Sky protests that she's not done yet, Paul grinned, turning around to face them, while still walking, so basically walking backwards.
At some point, he had to stop walking, so that he wouldn't get out of the hearing distance. Paul wasn't that far away. He was actually walking away pretty slowly.
“Eh. We’ll meet later anyway?”
"Hey, now hold on. Who says we cannot sit together during dinner? The separation of houses only occur during formal events, like the welcoming feast. We should be free to sit with each other for the rest of the year."
“Well, as long as I don’t start randomly roaring like a lion…”
"Nah, I think you'll be fine." Responded the Gryff with a smirk. "If it makes you feel better, we can sit at the badgers' table tomorrow. So that, if you roar, we... eh, what is it that badgers do?" Paul frowned in the middle of his last sentence, unsure. "Well, we simply do whatever it is badgers do, so you won't be alone!"
“Come on! Dinner is waiting."
“True, true, that…”
"What are you, guys, having? I'd like... a long, well-roasted chicken leg!" Hummed Paul, showing with his hands the length of the leg, running up the stairs that parted him from the entrance door quickly.
“Speaking of sentimentality… what are we?”
"What do you mean?" As they entered the castle, Paul narrowed his eyes at Ellaine's question, basically asking for further explanation.
“I mean— does flying together warrant a name? Something? The… Wayfarers, Wayfinders, Voyagers, Trailblazers, Pathfinders…”
Paul chuckled at the speed of her brain. Whoa... how many possible names did she come up with on the spot... cool.
"Wayfinders... I like the sound of it." Uttered the boy thoughtfully, upon entering the Great Hall.
