Alec deserved that.
It ought to put himself in place. He knew what he did was wrong. And it was fairs fair. Alec probably has bruises everywhere or well, at least on his stomach and face. At first Alec stood there with a door in the headlight look, almost. Before leaning against the wall closing his eyes. The boy was still standing there, couldn't he just leave already? Wyatt, was it? Had already caused enough damage as it is.
Alec bit at his lip, trying to distract himself from all the other pain he was feeling everywhere. He'd best get to the hospital wing after this. It was enough to make someone-anyone cry.. Even Alec thought he might cry it made him a bit of a wimp but Alec didn't care at this point in time.
Alec let out a small sniffle as tears came to his eyes. Quickly wiping his eyes with the sleeves of his robe trying to put himself together so he wouldn't be a teary mess by the time he got to the hospital wing. Taking a deep breath, about to walk away Alec opened his eyes, straightening his posture slightly as his blurry gaze went around the hallway.
The boy was still there. Alec looked at the boy from behind confusedly for a moment before deciding he should apologize. It was his fault things got physical anyway. So just shove your pride down your throat and apologize. Alec took another deep breath, tapping the boy on the shoulder while looking at his own feet. Then whispering a small "I-I'm s-sorry.."

Wyatt heard the sounds of the boy’s robes behind him. The boy who he assaulted only seconds ago. He couldn’t move. He just stood there. Waiting for the Gryffindor to hit back. That’s what Wyatt deserved. All the Lion did was shove him to the ground, and he retaliated in a much worse way.

When he heard the Lion behind him sniff, Wyatt started crying. Incredibly quietly, but he was crying. Tears were running down his face. He was no better than his horrible father. He tried so hard to be calm and collected, to not hurt anyone, but he’d just hurt that boy.

He didn’t wipe his tears. He heard the Lion behind him straighten himself out, if he wiped his tears the would surely notice. He flinched as a hand was placed on his shoulder, and an apology was spoken. He couldn’t believe his ears. After what he’d done, how could someone apologize to him?

Then, it clicked in his mind. Fear. Of course. Wyatt just brutally assaulted another student because he let his emotions get the best of him, and now the kid was scared Wyatt would beat him up more if he didn't apologize.

“No.” He was surprised by his own voice. It was dark, low, and cold.

He wasn’t going to accept the apology. He was just as bad as his father. He stooped below the Gryffindor’s level.

“I’m-” he began, but he paused before the second word, he needed to emphasize how sorry he was if it had to be emphasized dramatically, so be it. “Sorry,” he finished, and he meant it.

"Do you need... help... getting to the hospital wing?"

The words rushed out of the boy's mouth before he could stop them. "D-don't be" He said trying to keep his voice firm, but it seemed more meek and squeaked out than anything."It was my fault. I-I shouldn't have shoved you.. There were much better ways to handle it I just wasn't thinking" Alec said biting at his lip. You've got to have more to say then that haven't you? You shoved someone only minutes earlier. If he was back at home now, he would have never dared to shove anyone. It wasn't right, but it seems Hogwarts likes to mess with your morals and values quite a bit. For both good and bad.
Alec kicked at the ground slightly, pulling away and backing up slightly so he was at a bit of safe distance from Wyatt. "A-and I don't need help to get to the hospital wing. T-thanks for the offer though.." I guess. But there was a look of slight pain on his face. It was very obvious when he backed away a bit. Most likely to do with the bruises he probably had on his stomach.
It took a few minutes of awkward silence before Alec finally said,"O-okay well maybe a little.." Not only that did he have to worry about but also finding a good excuse as to why he looked like someone beat him up. Dumb pranks? No.. Slipping on water and hitting his face on the ground? No, that was stupid wouldn't work either.
Truth be told the only reason Alec wanted an excuse was so he wouldn't get in trouble for shoving Wyatt. He didn't care if Wyatt got into trouble as long as Alec didn't I mean Wyatt did kick him in the face and the stomach.
Alec wasn't exactly sure what the healer could do about bruises, probably just ice packs like back at home. Although back at home even a paper cut was treated as if poor Alec was dying. It was quite stupid actually come to think of it.

Wyatt clenched his jaw as the Gryffindor tried to say that he was in the wrong, but Wyatt knew even if the Lion believed what he was saying was the truth, it was wrong. Wyatt turned.

“Will you stop? You pushed you and I treated you no better than-” my dad used to treat me. He paused. He pieced together a sentence then continued, “All you did was push me, I had no right to hurt you that horribly.”

Taking steps backward, distancing himself from Wyatt, the boy said, “I don't need help to get to the hospital wing. T-thanks for the offer though." Wyatt wasn’t sure about that. When he moved, he seemed to be in a lot of pain. Pain Wyatt had caused. Bloody hell, Wyatt say something!

Before he thought of a complete sentence, the boy said, "O-okay well maybe a little."

Wyatt fought back a laugh. This wasn’t really a time for laughter. Wyatt sighed, he was absolutely, positively the worst Slytherin. Any good Slytherin would have left the boy standing there, especially if that boy happened to be a Gryffindor, but Wyatt had to help. Damn his emotions. They were getting the best of him again but in a different way this time.

“Right.” He walked to stand side by side with the Gryffindor and slung the boy's arm over his shoulder. “Here’s hoping you don’t fall.”

It was now time to think of a cover story. Wyatt wasn’t going to get in trouble for this, even if he deserved it. That was it though, Wyatt deserved it.

“If anyone asks, I started it,” he said, as they began walking to the hospital wing.

"But you basically did start the whole thing to begin with" Alec said. With the whole 'how do you even get on a hufflepuffs bad side?' then again it's what Alec got for talking to himself in the small hall again. The whole hufflepuff situation was because Alec may or may not have rejected the hufflepuffs best friend.. The hufflepuff didn't know yet, but with the threats she'd made beforehand Alec knew he probably wasn't going to live to see the light of day by the end of the month.
'Seriously, don't go anywhere. I mean it, or I will hunt you down like the dog you are,'
That was the first one when he'd accidentally bumped into the two and the most confusing one.
It was also what was distracting him from slight pain as they walked. Alec was a bit familiar with the hospital wing since he and Leonard had to bring Clifton there once.
Then his mind went to the whole slytherin gryffindor rivalry thing. It was honestly quite funny considering a majority of Alec's friends are slytherin. To be fair, he was friends with the 'odd bunch' of slyhterins. Like Leonard, the boy practically planned everything. He planned everything he was going to do at Hogwarts what house he was going to get enemies, friends, it was honestly quite interesting.
Especially with the little rant he got carried away with about where to hide howlers. Alec cleared his throat to get Wyatt's attention. "It's probably about time I tell you my name then if you're going to try any more remarks for no reason again later. You might as well know my name." Alec said with a small awkward laugh. "My name's Alec, well Alec J. Mason to be exact" He said offering Wyatt a small smile that came out of nowhere, really.

Wyatt rolled his eyes. This one has a reply for everything, doesn’t he?

“Sure.” Wyatt decided not to annoy the boy further with a witty comeback. He’d already beat him up, the least he could do was respect him. This was so awkward, I should’ve left, he told himself, I should’ve been a good Slytherin, and left. Wyatt heard a noise break his stream of consciousness, he turned his head, it was the Lion.

“… name's Alec, well Alec J. Mason to be exact."
Wyatt rolled his eyes again.

“It’s not exactly exact if you say the initial instead of your real middle name, is it?” That felt right. That felt good. He said a comeback, and he didn’t explicitly call the boy an idiot. Back to normalcy, hopefully the boy would understand. Wyatt isn’t a terrible person, but bickering is his norm.

“If you’ve forgotten, I’m Wyatt Starkey.” He wasn’t going to tag on a middle name for the joke. His given middle name was his father’s name, so he just pretends he doesn’t have one to people that ask. “I don’t have a middle name, so that’s as ‘exact’ as it gets.” The middle name began as a way to show how rich and powerful you are in Ancient Rome, it's like valentine’s day. It’s something for people to feel good and has no real meaning behind it.

He kept walking and saw the two huge doors of the Hospital Wing getting nearer.

To be fair, Alec didn't exactly like his middle name. He liked to shorten it and make it sound 'fancy' although his parents would have a fit if they knew that's how he was introducing himself to people here. His mother probably starting off with 'Don't say J your middle name is something you should be proud of since it's your father's. It's a family tradition' Alec internally scoffed at the last line. It was his mother's favorite to use.
I mean don't get Alec wrong, he didn't have any problems with his father's name or anything like that. It just merely implied that Alec was a lot like his father, sure his father was sweet and kind at times but his father's morals and values got in the way of what Alec personally believed.
The main one being stuff with blood purity. There were so many times Alec walked in on his father trash talking random half bloods behind their back for being half bloods. Or muggle-born witches and wizards. It was stupidity, and it always got his father in a grouchy mood. Especially the one time he and Alec had a talk about it.
"You know your one of the few slytherins I've met so far that actually try to stick to the slytherin gryffindor rivalry stuff, and I know quite a few" Alec said. Bringing up the subject seemed as if I'd be interesting. If Wyatt didn't answer Alec would just bring it up the next time he saw Wyatt, which Alec at the moment hoped that was going to be never again.

“Would you like a gold star?”

Wyatt rolled his eyes. He had reasons as to why he kept up the rivalry. He hadn’t met a kind Gryffindor all year. He’d even thought he made a friend in Gryffindor, but then she avoided him for the rest of the year after a month of friendship. The Gryffindors were brutish and cruel. He wondered if it was either she realized how worthless he was or if she stopped wanting to be associated with a Slytherin.

“I don’t care what your friends believe in, it doesn’t matter to me now and it never will. I know what I believe, and I believe I haven’t met one decent Gryffindor,” he said. He realized how Alec may take offense to that, but he really didn’t care. He didn’t bother showing that he knew Alec may not have liked what he said. He didn’t even turn to look at the boy’s reaction.

They got to the Hospital Wing in no time, it was a surprisingly short walk from the Small Hall.
“We’re here. The nurse will probably give you a potion for the pain and another to heal anything that needs healing, you’ll be fine by the morning.” He’d had his fair share of visits to the Hospital Wing after run-ins with, you guessed it, Gryffindors.

'I don’t care what your friends believe in, it doesn’t matter to me now and it never will. I know what I believe, and I believe I haven’t met one decent Gryffindor,'
Goes to show how many people he knows. Alec thought to himself. Alec was a bit mean at times he wasn't going to lie about that. But he didn't exactly look going around to start something like somebody over here.
'We’re here. The nurse will probably give you a potion for the pain and another for to heal anything that needs healing, you’ll be fine by the morning.'
Why did this idiot of being say something like that then go on to something like this? Alec would have rather just been left. Wyatt had two sides to him. The stuck up slytherin, and a decent being both just as rude and mean as the other the only difference being that the decent being side to Wyatt was actually the slightest bit decent. Did he want people to hate him? It seemed that way although Alec was sure unless you weren't exactly sane you wouldn't want anybody to hate you.
"Thanks" Alec muttered. He was still going to try to remember his manners around this idiot of a being, even if Wyatt clearly didn't deserve it. While saying this his curly hair fell into his eyes once again he let out a small huff that would be the fourth time today.
Alec needed to get his hair cut.
"See ya around" hopefully not "Snake-boy~" Alec said with a sly grin. Before walking away and into the hospital wing
