Let the Magic Begin
![]()
And finally, her journey at Hogwarts could begin.
Evangeline entered the Hogwarts Express, unaware of what was ahead. She was beyond excited to learn more about the school, magic, and even more Herbology, and how to take even better care of her plants!
Her mother had let a tear fall upon her entering the train, but she had promised to write to her as often as possible, and, of course, with a whole, detailed explanation of how her mother could take care of her plants.
Evangeline walked through the train, looking at every compartment she checked. Every single one was filled with students, both younger and older, boys and girls, all of whom looked beyond excited to start or continue their journey at Hogwarts.
Evangeline eventually found an empty compartment and decided to enter it and take her seat. Since she didn't own any House coloured robes yet, she had to change into the neutral Hogwarts dress robes, and so she did. She had no idea how long she'd be on the train for, and wasn't sure when everyone else would get changed. As she opened her trunk, she pulled out the small flowerpot, which contained a strawberry plant, she had brought with her from home, hoping she could make it grow during her time at Hogwarts, maybe even share the fruits with new friends she was hoping to make. She put the plant on the table and studied it closely, hoping time would fly by as quickly as possible, so the magic could begin.![]()

_______________☽°•°☾_________________Steam was filling the air, spreading across Platform 9 ¾ as the Hogwarts express released a loud whistle, it‘s red colour shining in the sun.
But the steam was not the only thing that was filling the air. Many students hurried in every direction, while exchanging hurried goodbyes with eir parents, that stood infront of the wagons, waving at their children. Even the pets, tugged away in their cages where letting out nervous and excited sounds.
Clark still lingered outside the train, standing a bit lost in the crowd, that was moving around him, watching as his Butler Finlay loaded everything he needed into one of the seperate luggage wagons. He watched as Finlay exchanged a few words with other people, assisting them to load their luggage. Clark‘s Butler was the only one that came along with Clark, the one who would soon wave him goodbye. No not his parents were giving him a heartfelt goodbye, not even one of his relative, no it was his Butler, the one who had been at Clark‘s side since he was a young child. Someone who actually cared about Clark, who didn‘t treat him like he was just another person living in the same mansion.
But that would soon not be important anymore, because now Clark was going off to Hogwarts. Where he would spend a whole schoolyear away from his parents, and from everything he‘d known, And maybe, just maybe it wouldn‘t be as bad, as his brain always imagined. Maybe he would have a different live there, and wouldn‘t even think about his parents at all.
However before the boy could form any other thought about his parents, it was Finlay, who pulled him out of his thoughts, and told him it was time to go, because the train was leaving soon. Clark looked up at the man, who had put a hand on his shoulder, and just nodded. He didn‘t have to respond and Finlay never expected one on the first hand. And that was yet another factor why he liked Finlay.
After letting go, and waving one last time, Clark made his way to the train, and entered it. Inside he was met with an overlapping from voices of the other students, and other noises, he couldn‘t make out. And all the smells, that were filling the air, flooded his senses, constructing a heavy clud inside his brain, making it even harder, as it already was, but Clark tried to push through it, by pushing past other students, while looking at the compartments surrounding him. Most of them were already crowded, full of students chatting with eachother, their laughter and voices following him, while he continued his walk.
Nevertheless after some time, he came across a compartment, that caught his attention. eventhough it was occupied, it was only one student. A girl, probably his age, to be exact. It would probably be the less occupied he would find on that train. And he would rather try to socially interact, than be on a search for a seat the whole train ride long. Again drifting off into his thoughts, Clark stood maybe a bit too long in front of the door, before actually gaining the courage to knock twice against the wooden frame of the door. After waiting for a few seconds, ge hently pushed the door open and looked at the girl.
“Hey…uhm…May I sit with youu? The other compartments are pretty occupied right know...Only if you don‘t mind…ofcourse..“
