Meet at 10 O'Clock

One of her best friends had asked her to meet her at The Great Lake at 10 o'clock. Why? She wasn't sure. What she did know is that it seemed quite important to Meredith and if it was important to a friend, it was important to her.

But no, Alina wanted to be there for her friends as her friends as she'd want them to be there for her if she should ever need them. She sat there early, waiting for Meredith, as she sort of drifted off in her own thoughts as she looked out to the lake. It's vast darkness didn't seem so overwhelming anymore like it did when she first arrived at Hogwarts. Maybe that was just initial loneliness. She now had some pretty good friends to fill that void.
There was a cool breeze coming off from the waters. While it was a lake, small waves did generate from sheer size and she was glad she had brought a jacket. Clifton Troublefield's jacket to be exact and she propped her hand up by her face while she waited, taking in his scent and smiled. She hoped everything was okay with Meredith and if there was any sort of trouble, that she'd be able to help.

Meet at 10 O'Clock
Meredith had ran as fast as she could down to the lake and saw @Alina Rosier, her best friend sitting on a bench staring out at the Great Lake and she thought, " Alina, she looks super peaceful. We should go outside at night together a lot more often because of this."
Meredith had decided the best way to make a entrance was to freak them out some how. Meredith then saw some spiders crawling around on the ground and quietly pulled out a jar and caught like seven or so and then walked over to Alina and sat down next to her with out Alina knowing it and said dumping the little spiders out next to Alina, " It's really pretty isn't it, The lake? It is home to a lot of creatures like Merpeople, Grindylows, and The Giant Squid.
Did you know that, Giant Squids are known to Muggles, although they remain mysterious animals to them. Although their extraordinary bodies have washed up all over the world, Muggles only managed to capture a live Giant Squid on film in 2006. ALINA!!! There is spiders all over you!"
Meredith could not help laughing at Alina and how amazing the prank was working out after all.

At the mention of spiders, she froze, looking to Meredith and wondering if she was serious. At the thought of spiders, she grew anxious. When she could actually FEEL the spiders is when she looked down, seeing them on her. She screamed, probably a scream that could be heard all the way to the castle and beyond the Scottish Highlands themselves.
"Get them off, get them off!" she yelled and quickly removed the jacket she had on. She held onto it tight and shook it out in front of her, careful not to drop it because if it went into the lake, she'd be going into the lake! Seeing some flick down onto the ground, she started to calm down a bit. "...Okay, I think they're gone," she started to breathe slower again. She gave the coat a once over, then a twice-over.
Then her hand brushed up her hand and nothing. All clear. She shook her head once for good measure and slowly began to put the jacket back on. It was big for her, as it was Clifton's, but she didn't care. It engulfed her like a hug.
"Maybe we should go talk....somewhere over there," she motioned to another spot. Perhaps another spot away from spiders.

She ran her hands through her hair but feeling as though that wouldn't solve the problem, she leaned forward, allowing her hair to fall over the back of her head and she shook it, making sure there were no more.
Alina then followed Meredith over just a slight ways, using her hand as a brush to try and make herself look somewhat presentable. Just somewhat. Being one of the most beautiful girls in school is never what Alina Rosier aimed for. She stopped as Meredith did and watched her. She still wasn't quite sure why she was there. She listened to her friend and tilted her head to the side. "Meredith, did you ask me here to talk about hinkypunks?"
That really wouldn't be unlike Meredith, who would talk to anyone about any magical creature any hour of the day. Maybe it was the new book she was trying to write and she needed to test it out on someone first and felt Alina was the best choice? But if this were the case, why were they meeting there by the Lake and why couldn't she have just talked to her about it back when they were together the last time? She was confused.
