Writing Race July 2026

So, we all need to wrap up the previous school year's threads. I thought we could have some motivation to write replies. I am going to host a writing race, where you link all posts done at a certain time frame and whoever wrote the most wins. But, to encourage quality over speed everyone who writes 500 words or more, so I know that you aren't just trying to get a free prize, gets a small prize regardless if they win "Most Wrote" or not. Because of that please only sign up with one account. Sign ups will be until June 30th unless this gets too popular. The contest will take a week to go through. I will post the starting and stopping times, so we are not confused over time zone differences.

I will need three kinds of people:

Co-Leaders Likely one or two. Help me run this event. Help me count words of people's posts that they link. Will be formally recognized on last post when prizes are given out. Can be a contestant if someone else counts their posts. Can be a sponser.

Sponsors Likely two or three. Donate a little money, objects, or free store order for winners. Get their name, store name, and link formally recognized as a sponsor on last post when prizes are given out. Can be a Co-Leader. Can be a contestant but might find it less enjoyable since you funded prizes.

Contestants As many as possible! Fills out form. Writes role-plays and links them for those running the event. Gets prizes at the end.
