Well, Here We Are! PV Callie Jensen Closed

It was raining, which was nice when Rosie had a hood to cover her head, but her mane-like hair was not going to appreciate it.

It was already obnoxiously curly as it was, but now it was just going to get frizzy. She had been out by the Great Lake, taking a nap by the tree to read. It was a nice idea, in theory, watch the water in the horizon, or watch the clouds go by. It was just when she went to sleep, the clouds that had been passing by turned grey, and were then storm clouds. Thus, triggering rain. Weather was simple like that, Rosie liked to think. The clouds were just like-- "frick it, rain time." That seemed to be the answer to most things. Frick it.

Anyway! It was raining, and Rosie couldn't run back now. All she had on was her short sleeved button up and skirt, she didn't have anything to cover her head except her bag, and she didn't want that getting too wet either. She had books in there! And also Magnus, her cat, who was sticking his head out from her backpack. Rain. Evil. Very evil. Magnus did not want to mess with it, so he willingly curled up in Rosie's backpack under the safety of the tree.

The young Hufflepuff let out a big sigh and sat back down against the tree, watching the rain fall from the sky. The last time she was here, it had been with Reid. It was a bad day, and Reid wanted to go run out in the rain, but she had been sulking. So he dragged her out to go see it, and it eventually started to lift her spirits. Whether it was from being in the rain, or being with her best friend, she didn't know. But regardless, it was a very fond memory.

Hopefully, some other person would be stuck in the rain to join her, but hey, what were the chances of that?

To put it simply, Callie adored the rain. She loved the pitter patter of rain droplets hitting against the window and revelled in watching the droplets race frantically down the window pane. What she didn't love about rain however was rather simple: being caught up in it when she didn't have much in terms of protection. Today was one of those unfortunate occasions as Callie had been out on a walk through the Great Lake when she found herself caught up in a shower. She had originally headed out to the lake in search of some respite from the library where she found herself spending the majority of her free time these days. As much as she loved books and seeking out new discoveries there is only so many hours you can spend staring at a book before you go a bit batty. Especially when that book covered Transfiguration, which Callie found endlessly complicated and confusing.

However now her peace had been shattered as Callie was thoroughly soaked to the bone and her already messy at best hair was a flat limp mess. Not willing to make the soggy journey back to the Ravenclaw common just yet, Callie opted to wait out the rain underneath a nearby tree which seemed to promise some solace from the rain beating down on her back. Callie rushed over to the tree with the utmost haste and let out a sigh when she no longer felt the rain pouring down her robes. After spending a few moments relishing the short respite she'd found Callie tossed her bag down onto the grass below and moved to get closer to the tree. Sadly her plans to lean against the trunk were thwarted by the deadly combination of Callie's poor spacial awareness and Rosie sitting in the exact spot she planned to dump herself on. So Callie ended up tripping over Rosie entirely and landed face first in the dirt below...how unfortunate!
