Long Road Ahead
After Percival had finished speaking he turned to Adelyn, wondering which house the girl hoped to be in. Most first-years had a specific house they wanted to be in from the moment they learned about Hogwarts from their parents. Percival's eyes widened a little as the girl confessed that she knew nothing about the wizarding world. Though he guessed it made a little sense due to the girl's heritage. "Really? When you got your letter did they not explain anything?" he said a little flabbergasted.
Percival guessed it must suck going to Hogwarts where you not only know no one, but don't even know the basics of how things work. He grinned slightly as the girl tried to guess the houses. "I mean your close. Those are just the mascots though." he said.
Percival listened to Christine as she began to describe the houses and their traits. "Your correct." he said with an affirmative nod. "The sorting ceremony is the fun part. You wait until you get called, and they put this really big hat on your head." he started to say. "It'll mumble a bunch of words, and then it'll say what house you are best suited for." he said with a large grin. "Don't worry about being put in the wrong house. My dad said the hat can easily figure out which house is most like you." he said with a grin.
"After you are sorted everyone will cheer you on. And THEN we get to eat a lot of food!" he said starting to get excited. It wasn't hard to get excited for a ceremony that he and his brother's acted out since they were little.

Long Road Ahead
Cassie almost missed the train. When the last horn sounded from the train, she hopped on and carelessly pick the car she's seated. At first the car she's in, is nice and quite but as the student comes one by one filled the compartment she's occupied, she has to share it with another people. Soon the car she's in, less appealing that she hoped for. Too many noises in small compartment. Cassie huffed and decided to look for maybe less people in there and if they have to be some sort of conversation, it won't be noisy like the previous she's in.Interacts with : @Percival Rainwood, @Christine Garner, @Adelyn Sinclair
When she's stepped out from the car, 3 angry students walk passed her. "The hell is she?"One of them said. Cassie knitted her eyebrows. Who in their right mind already make enemies this soon? Cassie thought. When the angry student passed on, she look at a girl - around her age - get up from a compartment. She looks at both side, make sure that whomever chase her are gone. Then she gave a fluffy stuff to the other girl. Caiden smile at the kind and sweet gesture.
The train picked up their speed and makes Cassie a bit unbalance. She walks steadily while once or twice put her hand on the glass door to support her. Once she arrived in front of quieter compartment - Cassie hope so -, she politely knock on the glass door and open it.
Inside the compartment there's a boy and 2 girls. "Don't worry about being put in the wrong house. My dad said the hat can easily figure out which house is most like you." the boy said with a grin. Cassie feels a bit awkward now, they probably already know a bit about each other but she's done looking ideals compartment she wants, this is her last choice.
"Hey"Cassie greets the other three students. "I'm Cassandra, but you can call me Cassie. Mind if I sit with you, guys? The last car I'm in well let just say they can be a bit noisy"Cassie said and give them a smile. Hoping one of them is nice enough to allowed her to sit with them.

Christine sighed thankfully when Percival told her she was correct. "Thank god," she said to herself. "maybe next time I should pay attention to Dad when he's explaining thigs. Then maybe I can be more sure of myself when I'm being a nerd."
Christine pulled back out her sketchpad and began a drawing of Adelyn as she sat across from Christine. Christine paused after finishing up the neckline of the shirt Adelyn wore. "Now," she said to the girl. "now that you know what the houses are, which one do you want to be in?"
As Adelyn was contemplating her answer, another girl entered the dorm. She had light skin and wavy brown hair. She also had green eyes that complimented her hair color. She was a few inches taller than Christine, but they were about the same size. While Christine was build small, light, and slender for dancing, this girl had more of an athletic build. The girl introduced herself as Cassandra, but they could call her Cassie.
"Nice to meet you, Cassie," Christine said. "I'm Christine, she said. I don't mind if you sit with us, so why don't you go ahead and take a seat." Christine motioned to the other seat across from her and next to Adelyn. "What house are you hoping for, Cassie?"

After Cassie said what she hoped for, one of the girl is nice enough to let her join their car. "Nice to meet you, Cassie,"The girl said to Cassie. "I'm Christine, she said. I don't mind if you sit with us, so why don't you go ahead and take a seat."She continues and introduced herself as Christine.
She then motioned to the other seat across from her and next to a blonde girl."Thanks"Cassie said her gratitude, close the door and took the seat across from Christine and sat next to the blonde girl. Thank Merlin for the civil conversation. I hope this car won't be noisy as the last one I'm in, Cassie stated to herself. Cassie even though isn't seat next to the window, she can see how beautiful the scenery.
The bright blue sky with a hint of cloud, a clear scenery and the green that almost like a blur with how fast the train move. Cassie smile at that. Sometimes she forgot how marvelous the natures are like. "What house are you hoping for, Cassie?"That question bring back Cassie to reality. "Wha-oh!"Cassie uttered when she realize that question was address to her.
"Well Dad was a Slytherin and Mom was a Ravenclaw. I'm smart but I don't think I'm smart enough to be a Ravenclaw, so I'm hoping maybe I'll be sorted into Slytherin just like my dad. How 'bout you?"Cassie rambled and questions Christine.
"Do you think mentioning blood statuses is important now days?"Cassie inquires to the other three. "My dad once said it can offends some people but I'm not sure"Cassie pride to be a Pureblood but sometimes she want the other acknowledge but then again a lot of Pure-bloods in Hogwarts didn't give a blink to that matters.

Percival glanced towards their newest member of the passenger car. The boy had little qualms over the other coming to sit with them, and just offered her a smile.
The boy laughed as Christine spoke about being sure of herself when she acts like a nerd. "I mean that was a pretty impressive display of knowledge. I bet you'll be a Ravenclaw.' he stated with a small nod.
Percival raised an eyebrow as Cassie turned the topic towards Blood status. Percival was thought to be a pureblood through and through. Though in truth he was a half-blood. Though that was something that not even Percival knew.
The topic was a sour one, especially with his mother's grandparents practically pretending his muggle grandmother never existed. Percival decided to shrug before opening his mouth to speak. "I do not think blood status is really important. Though some people do think that it is important." he stated in a disinterested tone. "Where is everyone from?" he asked trying to change the topic.
"I'm from Chester England. It was a pretty far drive to get to the Hogwarts Express." he said with a small laugh. "I think I'm sick of cars now." he added.

Long Road Ahead

When Christine told Cassandra that she could sit, the girl thanked Christine. Christine smiled, as she wasn't used to being thanked. Cassie took a seat across from Christine and Percival, next to Adelyn. Christine wasn't used to talking to other people, so this was a welcome change to the dull life of being the only victim to any bullying in the entire school district.
When Christine said that she needed to be more sure of herself the next time she went on a nerd rant, Percival replied with something about her maybe being in Ravenclaw. "Well," she said. "That is what I am hoping for."
Cassie took a seat and looked out the window. She appeared to be looking at teh amazing scenery. "Amazing, right?" Christine asked. Cassie smiled at the window as Christine asked her question. The question seemed to bring the girl back to reality out of a daydream. The girl's mother was a Ravenclaw, while her father was a Slytherin. Cassie didn't think she was smart enough to make Ravenclaw, so she hoped to be a Slytherin like her father. Cassie asked Christine what house she was hoping for, and Christine repeated what she had said to Percival. "I'm hoping for Ravenclaw.
Adelyn still hadn't replied to Christine's question, so Chrissy went back to sketching teh girl. This time, she drew the girl's hair and facial features.
Cassie asked something about whether blood statuses were important or not. Christine spoke up. " I think they're important to some people but not as important to others. You don't have to mention it if you don't feel comfortable and if others mentioning it makes you feel uncomfortable, all you have to do is politely ask them to stop."
Percival seemed uncomfortable with this topic, so he quickly changed the subject and asked where everyone was from. "I'm from Bath," Christine said as Percival announced that he was from Chester.
