Guess she wasn't pretty then.
It was strange how one second, people are fawning over you, talking about you being their future heir, promising to give her whatever she needed.
And the next, they shatter you. They hurt you, no they stab you, at the place they were once what you called "home."
Secrets couldn't be kept. Noone could just move on. Everyone had to have their own way, even if the problem had nothing to do with them at all. They overlooked everyone who would actually suffer, just to have this.... power over vulnerable people. Honestly the worst thing someone could do to you. And it hurt to admit, but if she even dared to step in, she could face consequences that were worse than the situation she was in right now. She couldn't stand up for herself, and the pain that brought to her was insane. She couldn't even talk to anyone about it; she would be called philosophical.
She was always the responsible one in her family; her older brother was of no use. She doubted Axel had even thought about her ever since the news came out.
She walked into the classroom, her hair swaying, her eyes tear stained. What a wonderful and normal day.
She sat down on a table and exhaled, air filling her lungs.
"You watch me bleed until I can't breathe, shaking falling onto my knees."
Thank God there was still music in the world, she couldn't even imagine what she would do without it.
She hadn't sung in a while now. She needed to experience that feeling that she was loved, that somebody cared, once again.
She stood up, and sang, low and melodic. At least no one could hear her or see her.
"Call me in the morning to apologize, every little lie gives me butterflies, something in the way you're looking through my eyes, I don't know if I'm gonna make it out alive.."
Ah, that felt good. She took a deep breath, and continued.
"Fight so dirty but you love so sweet,
Talk so pretty but your heart got teeth,
Late night devil put your hands on me,

She ended it with her signature riff.
Suddenly, she heard someone behind her.
