Criticize me
interacting with @Mars T'ien
═ ∘◦❦◦∘ ═"Well, that's good. I better not grow out of these old men then." She laughed yet again and shook her head. Lizzie would never get old of listening to Queen, Beatles, David Bowie and maybe even a little bit of Elton John. It was a true fact that was never going to go false.
She smiled quickly at Mars, "Your a muggle-born aren't you? Or you were just brought up in a Muggle household." She turned to look at the lake again. She had this thing where Lizzie just had an idea of what blood- status they were. Normally, it was because of how different people acted. Pure-bloods knew all about Hogwarts from the day they were born where as Muggle-borns were thrown into the deep end on their 11th birthday.
Lizzie picked up her guitar and hoisted her shoulder bag higher on to her shoulder. If it did go any higher it would be on her head. "It is pretty cool now that I think about it. Except, if I want to get far in life I have to be aiming even higher." She said while nodding her head. Most musicians got to at least grade 6 on the ones they wanted to learn. So that was exactly what Lizzie was going to do.
"Yes. It does seem nice that I turned out like this. Just be careful when you find me in a bad mood though. I can be pretty vicious." She grinned and walked away from the tree slightly. Lizzie got out a small piece of parchment, some ink and a quill. She scribbled down some words and handed it to Mars.
The blonde haired girl smiled once again, "Here you go. I'll be looking forward to playing those pieces together." Lizzie started to walk off up to the castle and sighed. That defiantly was a conversation that was interesting. She knew the person she had left behind would probably be thinking the same thing as well.═ ∘◦❦◦∘ ═

Criticize me
@Lizzie Verdine
Mars smiled. Sure, they might not agree with Lizzie's taste in music, but to each their own. It wasn't their place to harass.
"Sure am. I don't think I'll ever get used to the wizarding world," they said when Lizzie asked if they were muggle-born. Sometimes, Mars thought that was maybe a blessing in disguise. They got to experience life from both angles. Nevermind the pure-blood who insisted they were something wrong, being born to muggle parents. Mars could hex them if they got to close anyway.
They took the piece of paper from Lizzie's outstretched fingers, looking down at the neat scribble written across it. They grinned up at the Ravenclaw. Maybe someday they could sell this off when the witch made it big.
Mars stayed under the tree as they watched the girl gather her things, sling her guitar over her shoulder, and set off back toward the castle. Her blonde hair waved in the wind, sending its goodbyes. Too bad, honestly. They would have liked to see the seemingly put together witch snap.
Laughing, Mars turned back to the lake. They had homework, definitely, but one last look couldn't hurt. The sun glinted off the ripples spanning across the crystal surface, sending a glowing reflection over the wix's face. Absentmindedly, they folded up the piece of parchment and slid it into their back pocket. Someday, hopefully, soon enough, they'd be able to meet up again. Maybe sing one of the songs written by one of the old men Lizzie seemed to like so much.
Mars bit back a smile. What an interesting girl.
Finished.
[ Home, they said. I should like to go home. ]
