@Jane Victoria That's pretty cool! I don't know if you've experienced anything like this, but since we're in the LGBTQIA+ space, I hope it's okay to talk about this. I feel like there's some stigma around changing labels. For instance, I thought I was a lesbian for a long time, but I had a slight attraction to guys, so I was super confused. I didn't want to say anything because I had already come out so I kind of repressed those feelings and made myself "stay lesbian." Got over that though, so that's good. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Sorry to bring the mood down.

For me, when I was junior high I thought I was straight then it went on until Junior year (grade 11). Junior year I thought I was bisexual because I also attracted to boys. And when I'm in university I have a lot of female crushes and my first kinda serious ex was a girl hence thinking I'm lesbian. But then one day my best mate introduce me to a girl (a drop dead one, she is trans). Finally if I have label myself, I am definitely Pansexual until now

Yeah I’ve been really confused by my sexuality lately too. I’ve known I like girls since I was in 7th grade, but I also felt sliiiightly attracted to guys so I’ve been identifying as bi for the last few years. Lately though, I’m kinda feeling more like lesbian fits more but I’m kinda scared to tell people that I’m not bi after all. I also kinda feel like I have to try to ‘stay bisexual’ because others will judge me for being wrong at first...
So I absolutely get what you’re all talking about.

Have any of you guys come out in real life yet? If so, how was it? How did you do it, and do you have any advice? Because I really wanna come out but I'm scared

Hey Laila! I'm not able to come out (still) but I get out to buy some food like, once a month. The problem is that I live in a city, and I just moved in before they closed the barriers, and now, I can't go to the UK

So It's really difficult for me, 'cause my whole family is there. There are also loads of other problems that are happening right now, with all of this, but I don't want to mention them because it will obviously bore you

How are you doing with all of this? I also need some advice...

@May Moonstar, I think Lailaflora meant like... coming out as a part of the Queer community.

And @Lailaflora Ruby, coming out is always hard. With my friends, someone outed me, so that wasn't really my choice to make and I do not recommend it. I've found that people prefer to hear it a) from you and b) on your terms, not someone else's. With my family, I asked some of my friends to help me with it, as well as some adults I trusted who were a part of the community and good friends with my parents. They were supportive, so I count myself as very lucky. Now, with new people I meet, I either make a joke or they ask me if I listen to girl in red.

I'm not sure what advice I can give you, but I'd recommend the sit-down-and-talk type thing, especially with people you're extremely nervous about coming out to. Come out when you're ready, and in a way that's comfortable to you. If someone is being a total jerk and outs you, hold your head up high and don't stoop to their level and also send me their address so I can beat them up for you.
