More Than A Life Change Reopened

Recently, Aura had owled her mum:
Dear Mum,
I miss you lots! I am having trouble making friends, but my grades are staying steady, averaging at an E. How is the flat? Please send Aurelia Amelia my love. I only wish I could tell her of my magic, and Hogwarts. The train ride was marvelous! I saw the most amazing views!

In reply, Aura’s owl returned with a letter from her mum:
My dear Aura,
You know that I love you always! The flat is fine, though Aunt Elena has to come by to help me clean up, and do the chores. How do you do it? Though I hate being torn from you, the day you left turned out to be lovely. I met an amazing man at the station, James Ready. I thought you would find his name funny. We have only gone on a few dates, but we both think it would be lovely to sell the flat and move in together! He has a daughter, around your age, named Meredith. She lost her mother, just as you lost your father. I think you’ll be great friends! I miss you!

Tears burned through Aura’s eyes as she read the letter. Though she had never met him, her dad was her inspiration. How could she? How could she just run off with a new man? Didn’t Aura’s dad mean anything to her mum? Anger boiling, Aura set off to find this strange Meredith Ready.

Meredith heard noise going up the stairs and she shot up and tried to hide her tears by acting like she was staring out of the large window but she just collapsed on the floor and cried harder make the letter she was about to send soaked in tears and she teared it in half and then in fourths and then in eighths and then throwing it out the window while crying even harder then turning down to go back to the Slytherin common room to go into her dormitory to cry some more into her pillow and then she saw this girl with long wavy hair and greenish blueish eyes and said to her trying to wipe the tears off her eyes," Hello... I'm Meredith, Your name?"
Then she noticed that this girl looked rather annoyed and then it snapped that this was Aura Lee and she might of gotten a letter like hers about their parents and them dating. And at that moment Meredith's bag ripped and all of her books on magical creatures spilled out and she bent down to pick the up and she realized not all of those books were hers because she had never read some of these and then noticed that those were what Alina had put in her bag earlier because she couldn't carry all of them," Sorry some of these are my friends but most of them are mine. I adore Magical animals and that type of stuff."

When the girl who had ruined her life introduced herself, Aura had to be polite. Curtly she replied. “Aura. Aura Lee.” Forcing back tears, she swallowed the lump in her throat. “I assume you knew about the dating situation of our parents? Of course, it gets worse. My mum says they might move in together by the summer. Any word from your father?” A Slytherin of all people! Sure Hufflepuff, even egotistical Gryffindor would be better. Such an ambitious person could only be described as too ambitious for their own good, or anyone else’s. Though both girls had heaps in common, that only made it seem as if they were more different. Both first years had lost a parent whilst they were young. “So, what’s the plan?” Aura asked the peculiar girl. Though neither stated it previously, it was the elephant in the room. Raising her eyebrows, she pulled out fresh parchment, a full ink pot, and a white, silver lined quill from her bag, waiting patient for a reply. These tools were always found in Aura’s bag, for a Ravenclaw came prepared, and it was the Owlery after all! With a tsk of her tongue Aura waited, hating each moment with the girl more than the last.

" W-well y-yes I have heard about t-that stuff." Meredith was still crying, then Meredith straightened up and stopped crying as she pulled out some parchment and wrote back to her father,
Dear Father who will regret this very much,
I will not be returning home for the summer until this stops. Send me my owl and my stuff by return owl please and thank you. I shall be coming home if you only get rid of this "Nancy" lady because her daughter seems like the worst person ever.

She felt very upset with herself for saying those type of things to her only parent that is still alive.
" You probably don't know me at all unless you know someone who does me but that is not very likely because of how little people that I know... Nevermind that!" Meredith was going a lot quieter every word," But if this is going to happen to us then I quit trying to be nice to him (my father) you will not be wanting to do this but if we want to live together then sure but I don't want a sibling at all but my father is very easy to get along with so within the month I think they will be engaged so will we fight each other or will we fight the relationship between our parents?"

Aggravated, Aura said to the strange Ready girl, “Yes, that’s what I was saying. I love my mum, and she is just like your father in that she is a gentle, kind, and agreeable woman.” With a sigh, she pulled out her own letters. She hated the new reply she had written.
To the woman who both gave me and ruined my life:
I will not be residing in your residence this summer. Miss Meredith Ready will not either. She is a dreadful brat, and stupid too. How could you do this to Father and I? I will ask my few friends to stay with them. Do not expect me to write often.

None of that is true. It’s best if you say multiple things that contradict each other. Meanwhile I will send my mum a letter, saying similar things. You will then letter my mum, include bad spelling, grammar, all of that. I’ll do the same to your father. I’ll phone my friend, Aurelia Amelia. She knows that I’m going to a “boarding” school far away. I’ll ask her to tear your home apart, plant spiders, stuff like that. If that doesn’t work, I will ask someone older to make a love potion for my mum to fall for someone else, and you for your dad. Got it?”

As Aura exploded with words Meredith stood there completely frozen by how fast she talks all she heard was spiders, house, friend, got it?. No she didn't get any of it, " Uh um What? I have no clue what you just said. But I don't want to have spiders in my house! I would rather just find out a way to just get an eye there to see what is happening and my father doesn't really believe what some people say in letters, he thinks that they say things but don't mean it so that will not work. And I do not blame you for not liking Alina, she is a bit difficult to get along with. But We could also just ignore them all summer. It is really easy, saying I was ignored my whole life so it must be really easy to ignore people that are close to you."
Meredith was hoping that Aura did not go to far and do all those things she said they should do.
