Thankfully the library was relatively close to the small hall, who knows what would have happened if the school's library was placed on the seventh floor, Mildred would just leave Hogwarts right then and there if that was the case. Mildred and May speed-walked to the library trying their best to swerve through everyone, was there always this many students here? Mildred may have bumped into some students, mumbling a small "sorry" or "excuse me" here and there; however, there was a more important matter here! trying to get to the library on time.Interacting with @May Moonstar continuing from Through fire we Puff
Eventually, Mildred and May reached the library, Mildred was sure she set a world-record there or at least close to setting one. she's never reached the library this quick not even when a book she needed was returned. Mildred was definitely out of breath, she needed to do more exercise or perhaps get out more, out of breath- Mildred said "Whew! We-" Mildred may have said this a little too loudly due to the glare she received from the librarian assistants, she was tired but excited that they made it in time! she continued her sentence in a whisper, made "it in time! let's look for some Astronomy books"
It looked like everyone else had the same idea, the library was normally littered with a few students here and there, it was rarely ever this crowded. Mildred still regaining her composure from the walk here, said "Do you want to look for a seat for us? while I get the books?"

The clock ticks life away.
May was panting, for they. Had runner to the library as fast as they could. She entered the library and smiled at Mildred.
“Thank you so much for helping me, even if I talked badly at first. Sometimes, I do lose my temper” said May.
“Whew! We-” said Mildred in a little bit to loud voice. My was startled, and heard the assistants and students shush her.
She smiled awkwardly at Mildred then giggled. Seemed as thought she was making new friends every day!
Then, Mildred finished her sentence in “it in time” with a whisper. Both panting, thy went to search some Astronomy books.
The library was very crowded, so it was difficult to concentrate.
Mildred asked her to look for a table, and that was what she was about to do!
She looked for a table with no people.
There it was! The perfect non crowded table was just in the other side of the library, in the very end.
May runned to it, as fast as she could, for her legs were tired from the run from the Small Hall.
May looked at her watch. 10 minutes until the Astronomy test.... May hoped she could study in time. How good it was to have a new friend.

Mildred smiled at May, "It's all good! don't worry about it" She, herself knew often at times she could say things she didn't mean too- or get heated, although it was rare. "It's no problem anyways" she waved her hand for an added effect, she didn't have anything better to do anyways- plus, she could also get some studying in. It was a win-win situation to her. "Plus you didn't even talk badly when we met! I've met people who have talked way worse than that to me anyways." Of course not anyone at Hogwarts, yet- many of the students here were pretty kind... kind of.
It seemed like May understood her and she watched as May went to look for a table, she walked towards the left of the library in search of some Astronomy books- as she walked further into the library she questioned if she was in the right spot.
They should be here... she mumbled to herself as she walked past the shelves of books, Divination... no that's not it. Arithmancy... that's also not it, however, she was getting closer.
"Aha!" she had finally reached the Astronomy section, and what should she get? She found a book that was titled, "All you need to know on Astronomy" she pulled it out and flipped through the pages and shrugged, this would be good enough book. She quickly piled up a few more books she thought were good enough and quickly walked to the sea of tables and students, she frantically looked around for May when she finally spotted her sitting on an empty table, as she neared the table she struggled to carry the books and accidentally set all the books down with a loud thud, they all fell down from her neat pile and laid messily on the table. She flinched from the loud thud it made, "Oops- uh sorry about that" She could practically feel the glares behind her back, she quickly took a seat at the table and picked one of the books, "Astronomy 101". "So May! What are you having issues with Astronomy?"

May smiled at Mildred. She was kind, and that was way much better than finding someone mean. Yes, that was a bit obvious.
“Yeah, I'm not the worst” May replied with a giggle. And it was true. May had met much worse people than herself at that moment.
May waited patiently as Mildred searched for the books, and she picked up a notebook, a quill and some ink.
“Aha!” Mildred said. “Finally found it?” May asked with a smile.
She saw as Mildred picked All you need to know on Astronomy out of a shelf.
Mildred flipped around the pages, as May peered up, a bit of Mildred's hair on her face. May went slowly backwards to get off the hair, when she stumbled into a chair and fell backwards.
“Ouch!” she cried, as she stranded up again, rubbing the back of her head with one hand. She heard how the librarian, again, ‘sushed’ her. May rolled her eyes and put the chair in its normal position.
“Aye, how this librarian is a pickle in the salad she is, ehem” May said, jokingly.
May saw how hard Mildred put the books on the table with a loud “Thump”.
Everybody glared at them. May rolled her eyes to them, and said the joke again.
It was tiring to know that, at least people didn't think that you could make noise in the library. Tho it was a good place to go if you wanted a bit more silence, for making noise was banned.
“I don't know what I would've done without ya Millie…” May said to her. It was true, for she probably would've stayed there, crying her eyes out.
“You like it when I call you Millie? Or should it be Mildred? I think Mildred is kinda long for you if you ask me…” May said. She didn't want to sound disrespectful, but it was quite true.
“So! Go Astronomy!” And the librarian shushed again
