It was another ball, a silly social event that Axel hates going to. He knew everyone was super excited and keen for it to start, he just wanted to go back to Beauxbatons, but couldn't. Bored out of his mind, they arrived a full week before the ball, the the professors expected them to continue working? Hell no.Interacting with @Pamela Graham

His school uniform was too tight, too showy for his personality. He had deliberately washed it with dark clothes to make the colour darken ever so slightly from the light blue to an off-hue. It was slightly noticeable, but only noticeable to look slightly off but without figuring out what was 'off' about his uniform.
Compared to the other lot of beauxbatons students who were confident, handsome and full of themselves, Axel was the opposite. Rude, average looks but still full of himself. He didn't give off the well-groomed look the other guys did so effortlessly and it always irritated him. So he stopped caring for appearances for people. Unfortunately it showed.
His uniform was crumped, shirt untucked, waistcoat unbuttoned, tie like a snake untied. His trousers looked like they hadn't been folded in years and his shoes were scuffed and battered.
His face was downturned in a scowl and his hands were shoved deep into his pockets. A very clear sign to back off and don't talk to me. But alas most people ignored that and thought he was having a bad day and needing to talk or be cheered up

Speech -- Thoughts
The school was way too crowded.
It wasn't like Pam minded that... much. She was normally pretty happy to remain holed up in her room, away from the throngs of foreigners— er, people from other schools. Nevertheless, when it came down to mealtimes, the Great Hall always felt stuffy.
Ironic really, considering it was bigger than Pam's house.
The ball was a happy occasion anyway. Even though the crowds were sure to wear her out faster than she would've liked it to, the preparations themselves were quite fun.
That specific day though, she found herself studying the students of Beauxbatons with increasing fascination.
Something about them made Pam more hesitant to approach them compared to the general hesitation she felt while approaching anybody new.
She watched a cluster of them pass by, impeccably dressed and carrying themselves with a confidence that somehow seemed practiced made than natural. It all looked quite exhausting.
Her eyes drifted over them, a sea of blue uniforms and perfect hair barely registering one student before moving onto the next.
Until her eyes found a boy who stood out so starkly among them that she found herself doing a double-take to ensure she hadn't imagined it.
When the second look confirmed that she hadn't seen it wrong, she realised she was staring.
His shirt hung untucked beneath an unbuttoned waistcoat. The tie around his neck had long since abandoned any semblance to a proper knot, draping itself there more out of obligation than purpose. Even from a distance, the uniform looked rumpled, as though it had been fished out from the bottom of a suitcase and had been put on in approximately three seconds.
While the rest of the school seemed to have stepped straight out of a catalogue, the boy seemed to have made an effort to achieve exactly the opposite effect.
The expression completed the look.
The boy wore a scowl sharp enough to ward off conversation, children, a few dangerous magical creatures and perhaps cause a vocanic eruption and a hurricane at the same time. His hands were buried firmly into his pockets, shoulders hunched, every inch radiating a very clear message.
Leave me alone.
Judging from the number of times she had already looked over, Pam had a feeling it was going to produce quite the opposite effect.

He knew people would look at him, he didn't like that, but he knew it would happen. His rumpled uniform in a sea of perfection, it was an eyesore to say the least, butttt that is the effect Axel was trying to go for, so he was happy.
As they passed some of the Hogwarts Students, the host school for the chaotic wonderland Walz. His narrowed eyes spotted a blonde girl... maybe younger than him staring.
What the hell is she looking at? He pulled a disgruntled face.
He looked back to his classmates then at him, like seriously out of all the model-like boys he was behind behind, the girl was looking at him?
With a smirk, he sauntered towards the blond girl. One of his hands digging deeper in his pocket for his pet, Void.
"If you’ve got something to say, use your words. It’s a thing people do" He says with a frown. You look at me like I'm some sort of..... Comment dit-on ça ? Dirt.... on your shoe. His french accent coming through thick as he is annoyed.
Then, he crosses his arms, which pulls his pet spider out from his pocket and onto his arm. "Oh no"He says sarcastically. "I do hope you aren't afraid of spiders" His tone, unworried and indifferent. The guy then smirks and looks down at his pet which is just resting on his forearm.
Translation: Comment dit-on ça ?= How do you say it

Pam had started watching the boy's hair with increasing fascination. Although it looked like it had not seen a comb in a thousand years, it was glossy and catching the light with an unmistakable sheen.
It was clean.
Probably even cleaner than her own hair was at that moment.
Which meant that although the boy was evidently averse to brushing his hair, he had drawn the line at not washing it.
Pam shrugged. Fair enough.
Her gaze drifted downwards, over his shirt, his tie and finally to the shoes.
Untucked shirt, unbuttoned waistcoat, crumpled tie.
Really, it was too perfect.
The boy had, quite literally, made an effort to look bad. No-one forgot to do everything all at once. Even a blindfolded person would be able to dress themselves better than... whatever this boy had done.
One pocket sagged slightly, indicating the presence of something heavier than a wand. Pam dismissed the thought in preference to one of her more interesting observations.
The blue was wrong.
Well not... wrong, wrong.
Just off.
Like it had been laundered with something black or pink or green and the color had leaked over his uniform. Really, Pam had no idea, her knowledge on color theory was practically non-existent.
Could that also be intentional...?
The boy had committed to the aesthetic.
She had to give him that.
Looking that untidy in a crowd of Beauxbatons students probably took effort.
Why would someone put in so much work into looking like they didn't put in any work. That doesn't even make any sense—
She flinched as the boy magically appeared in front of her, not having noticed him actually come over.
Her eyes caught on his arm.
Oh.
Spider.
That was a spider.
She scooted away from the boy, facing scrunching up in disapproval before she forced her expression back to normal. Even though people have different taste in pets. I prefer mine with fewer legs. "I'm not scared of them, but I prefer them at a distance." she muttered, drawing her attention away from the spider to the boy's face with some difficulty.
There was a cocky grin on his face, and Pam had to admit, even that smug look was better on him than the scowl he was previously adorning.
Pam matched his grin before she could think better of it.
"If I had something to say, I'd have said it."
She paused.
"You seem to be doing enough talking for both of us... for someone trying very hard to look unapproachable, you approached me remarkably quickly."

Axel's grin became more pronounced as they girl gave him a reaction. Her face scrunched up in disapproval made his eyes gleam with glee. He pushes the spider closer, maybe the girl would react even more disgusted. In a way, he was acting like an annoying little brother.Interacting with @Pamela Graham

Then the girl spoke. Sarcastically. He was outraged. How dare someone wearing yellow school robes be sarcastic with him?! He assumes she is a muggleborn so he speaks in a patronising tone,"What, just staying quiet like a little mouse then?"
As the annoying girl said her second sentence, he realised she was actually right? He had been talking way too much, and he did approach her. He instantly tries to backtrack. "You seemed like the type of girl to scream when frightened, I wanted to test it out."The boy smirks with a unbothered shrug, feeling like he covered it rather well.
He tucks his spider back in his pocket, bored with holding Void out to frighten her. He scanned her uniform, lingering on the Hogwarts crest, and rolled his eyes. Of course he bumped into a student whose school was hosting this blasted ball. Like couldn't the schools think of something less...... revolting? It was just a waste of his time as he didn't like it!
SO SO SORRY THIS IS LATE!! AND SO SHORTTT
