"Huft!"

I sighed as I adjusted my stuff I was just bought in my hands as I exited from one of the shop in this alley. I step aside for a moment, checking what I have bought and what else I haven't, and also checking how much money remained in my purse. Not much, sadly. I need to start saving until at least the end of the semester and until my parents send me allowance for the next year.

At the time I decided to go back to Hogwarts, I was startled by a tiny round face that suddenly pressed against the glass store window from where I had pulled over. The creature just looking at me so curiously with its shiny dark eyes. I'm not sure what this cute little thing intended to at me with such stare but somehow I moved my legs inside the shop and the bell jingled as I entered to the place filled with all kinds of animals.

"Wow," Before I knew it, I murmured in admiration and amazement. "So many little creatures..."

"Sure it is!"

I have been startled twice today. Great. But now, it is by an old man with a grin in his face, snickering as he success to surprised me from his sudden remark. He casually apologized and slowly walked toward me as he said, "It is Magical Menagerie after all, 'course ye find many kinds of animal here. If ye see a wands or herbs, then I shouldn't be here."

I can't help but laughed. I inwardly scolding myself as to not really been paying attention to where I step my feet into.

"So! Have ye decided which one ye wanna take?"

"Oh, actually I'm here because--" I halted when I felt something had just brush past my leg. When I looked down, I immediately snapped and pointing my finger at the creature. "Because of this one! I saw it looking at me through the window. And without me realized it, I've already entered here. I'm sure this one is enchanted me!"

The old man laughing heartily as he picked up the creature to his grasp. "Ye tell me, lass! This ferret is indeed curious about new people and loves to roam around. I get all worked up whenever he suddenly goes off somewhere while I'm not looking at it. Should I neuter ye, huh?"

The ferret suddenly squeak, like he rejected the idea completely. With his reaction, the old man and I chuckled.

"I'll take him!" I said, after giving a lot of thought with the remaining money in my purse. Hearing that, both of them looking at me. The old man smiled widely.

"'Course," he said as he passed the ferret from his hand to mine. "What would ye like to name him?"

I pondered while I looking at the ferret as he looking back at me with the same curiosity at the first time I saw his face from the outside of the shop. He even reached and poked my face with his paw, when that name came to mind. "Mr. Hobkin."

The old man, whose name I finally remembered was Mr. Ernest Witticker, laughed at my choice of name. I just grin, looking at Mr. Hobkin who seemed squeaking, like he about to protest and asking me to pick more cooler name for him.
