Before Hogwarts
Chaya lives in the countryside in Oxford with her little sister and parents.
Chaya first showed signs of magic when she was four years old and levitated a garden ornament.
When Chaya was seven and her sister Jazmyne was eight, the family went on a trip to Diagon Alley. They were eating at Florean Fortescue's when Chaya noticed Jazmyne was missing. They proceeded to find Jazmyne lost down Knockturn Alley. While Chaya was down there finding Jazmyne with her parents, she saw some interesting things to do with dark magic, and has since then been fascinated by the darker side of the wizarding world, something that worried her parents as they were unsure whether she would plan to practise it at Hogwarts. So far, however, Chaya has been repulsed at the idea of turning evil.
