Come to me Monster PV Riley Swan Closed

Riley appeared to be quite an energetic girl running up the mound. If Riannon had not fallen from a tree just of few moments ago she certainly would have try to race her. It has been a while since she had run around just for the sake of fun. She did not want to really say it, but acclimatizing to Hogwarts and its schedule had been tiring for Riannon. Who knew how demanding those homework could be.
But Riannon was outdoors without any homework to do and a new friend to socialize with.

"Whoa, you are quite fast, aren't you?" reacted Riannon once she had reached Riley on the top of the mound. "I offer you a rematch on that race once my back does not hurt as much anymore. You'll see I am quite the cheetah myself" she said massaging her back.

One thing Riannon learned today was that Ravenclaw are not just bookworms, some do like to have fun as well. However, she still would have to ask her new friend in which subject she is good at. If she could have someone to help her in Transfiguration she would not say no to that. But school work would have to wait because Riley had just say the magic word to trigger Riannon mischievous side "prank".

"Oooh ! A sibling to prank ! Interesting. You have twin sisters right? Riannon asked, she faintly remember that discussion the two had at the library before about their family. "Which one you want to prank? Is one of them more fun to prank than the other?"

While she was asking all those questions, Riannon starting scanning the horizon for anything interesting for a prank. Which type of prank would be fun?

"But yes I would love to help you! Is she afraid of anything? Bugs or insects? We could gather some in a box and put them somewhere she will go to. Or put seaweed on her stuff, just her clothes. Or replace her tie with seaweed." rambled the Hufflepuff girl.

Riannon loved planning pranks, she was quite disappointed in herself for not bringing a pen or paper to write to idea and a plan.

" Yes, well, when you like to prank your big sister, you have to be fast otherwise you risk your life ! I'll be glad to see what you worth another day then ! "

I was happy to speak about an other meeting with Riannon. I had not seen her a lot so far so I could not say she was already my best friend. However, I did like her company a lot and I was sure we could be able to become really great friends in the future. I was wondering if one day we will have a group with Ivy and Riannon. We were all from different houses but did it really matter ?

" Yes, I have twin sisters. Lauren is in Ravenclaw too and is the perfect Ravenclaw cliche actually. She is very creative and loves to read books. She is really smart. Alex is in Gryffindor, she likes to be alone and always put herself in danger. They are often fighting but I think they are glad to be twins. I love staying with Lauren, she makes me become quiet. But Alex... Well it is easy to bothered her which is why it is so fun to prank her. "

When Riannon told me she was ready to help me I was so excited ! I had done a lot of pranks during our childhood and I supposed she will help me to reinvent myself. Also, I thought it would be more fun to share this with someone else.

As she started to give me some ideas I didn't regret my choice. She was so inventive, as much as Ravenclaw students are !

" Are you sure you are not in Ravenclaw ? You are so inventive. I don't thing she is afraid of bugs. As I said, she is really daredevil. By the way, I am wondering what her boggart is... Anyway, I am sure we can find something interesting to do with seaweeds. And who knows, maybe it will help you in your quest of finding the Giant Squid !"

I came back to the lake in order to find seaweed. I knelt and started to pick some seaweeds. Anyone would have find the substance disgusting, it was flange and sticky. I wasn't because I was thinking of the face Alex would make when finding out she has seaweeds in her stuff. Also, since I was little I likes strange substance like algae... Everyone has their secrets !

Sorry I've been so long to answer

The outside air, the freedom to spend time far from homework and the joy to create a new friendship this day was Riannon favourite day since she had came to Hogwarts. She was finally feeling like she belonged in this school and that the next seven years would be very interesting to live through.

"It's funny that the twins are so different. Do they look alike at all? But I bet that growing up with those two differents sisters must have been so cool. My brother is quite the stereotypical Gryffindor. Energetic, brave and not so obsessed with schoolwork."Said Riannon grinning.

Riannon knelt on the ground to see if she could find any scary bugs. There were none around her so she started to move around crouching. She must have looked funny to look at in this position but to make great pranks you need to put all your might into it. Riley brought a laugh out a her with her question about school houses.

" Oh believe me, I am NOT a Ravenclaw. My parents probably wished I was as dedicated to school as I am to make prank or create stories. I am sure I was sorted in Hufflepuff because of how intense my imagination can be. My brain always comes up with strange ideas, I scare myself sometimes with the things I imagine"

She had just found a crawling caterpillar when she heard that Riley's sister was not afraid of bugs. She let the insect leave her hand and go free. No need to traumatise this poor insect for no reason. At the mention of seaweed and the lake, Riannon started making her way towards the shore of the lake where they will more easily find what they were looking for.

"Oh nice, seaweed! Do you want to put it in her bag? Too bad that she is not in Ravenclaw with you. You could have put some seaweed in her toothpaste or shampoo." said Riannon with a smirk, the day truly was so fun. " Have you ever eaten seaweed before? I actually like the taste of it when it's dried like in Japanese food"

" They look the same except for their eyes. Lauren has light-blue eyes like the sky on a sunny day and Alex has dark-grey eyes, like the sky during a storm. It does really match their personality actually."

As I spoke to Riannon, I found out that their personality were kind of defined by the color of their eyes. And as I was going further and further in my reflections, I discovered that it was quite the same for me. My eyes were as light as Lauren's were, but more grey than blue. Exactly in the middle between the twins eyes' color. Really strange, there was probably a mystery behind that thought but it was not the time to explore it.

I had no idea how we could manage to put seaweeds in Alex's bag. I knew that I couldn't do it. By the moment she will see me, she will know I was the one who did this prank. There was no way I could do that without being busted. I tried to think of another alternative and came up with two. One of them was way more fun but I was not sure it was something possible.

" You said your brother is in Gryffindor right ? And he is also a Gryffindor stereotype ? Maybe there is something to play with it. Remember when we first met at the writing space in the library ? Well, I wrote an anonymous letter for Alex in which I told her someone was in love with her and wanted to meet her to challenge her about something. I kept that letter because I knew she will never put a step in the library. Maybe it is time to make her fall into our trap don't you think ? "

I knew this plan suffer from defects but it was too funny to give up now. I searched into my bag to find this letter I had carry since then. Fortunately, the letter was still covered by glitters and not too crease.

" Depending on the relationship you share with your brother, we could prank both of them or only my sister. I know you could find that this prank goes a little bit too far but I need my revenge from the last day of holidays. "



31^st August

It was a very hot day and an effervescence was palpable in the Swan's house. The three sisters were packing their things in order to be ready for the back-to-school on the next day.

" Mummy, where is my wand, I can't find it... Yes I've checked my cupboard and my trunk it's not in there. "

Little Riley was stressed, where could her wand be. She was sure she had put it on her desk two hours before, prior to go to their swimming-pool with Lauren for a last plunge before next summer.

" Oooh baby Riley can't find her wand ! Maybe it is in the pool ? said Alex holding Riley's wand outside the window with a rictus."

By the time Riley jumped on her sister, the wand had already disappeared into the pool. Fortunately, the wand suffer from no damage. But Riley kept her bitterness towards Alex and waited to have the best moment to get her revenge.

Close to the water of the lake it was easier to feel the cold air. The heat of the summer was truly gone and fall was coming strong especially here, in Scotland. A chill went through Riannon's body when she crouched in search of seaweed. She was not afraid to put her hands in the water even if she might get her clothes dirty. After all, she will have her clothes back clean very easily thanks to the house elves who worked at Hogwarts. And they would not complain like her mother would have if Riannon was still at home.

"Ah it's cold!" complained Riannon as soon as the water came in contact with her hands. "I have to be quick otherwise I may lose all sense of touch in my hands" she added already grabbing any seaweed she could see.

While she looked in the water for seaweed, Riannon still tried to see if she could see any other creature in the water. A part of her, still hoped to catch a glimpse of the Giant Squid but she knew the chances were minimal. So, she only wished to see something bigger than the miniature crabs that were on the water close the shore and which were fleeing her hands when she grabbed seaweed. Riannon was reaching for another clump of seaweed when she heard Riley questions.

"Oh yes, he is a true Gryffindor through and through,although is favourite colour is purple. What a miss opportunity to be a walking stereotype. But yes, I remember those letters. It was nice of professor Jensen to organise this activity."

Riannon had received answers to all the letters she had send that time and she had been very happy to get good news from her family.

"And involving my brother in the prank? In what way? One things is clear he will not trick another Gryffondor, especially not a girl from his year. But it doesn't mean we can't still use him. What do want to do? Sign the letter my brother's name?"
