-Gryffindor...Come on I wanna be in Gryffindor- She shut her eyes tightly and crossed her fingers. Her mind raced back to all the fights she'd had with her classmates in the past and she started to sweat.
-Shoot, what if they put me Slytherin- Just as she thought she was doomed the hat announced she'd be in Gryffindor and she let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding. She wiped her sweaty palms on her skirt and made her way towards her table. The low chatter of students seemed to rap around her and held her hands over her ears as she sat down. She hadn't actually talked to another Witch or Wizard since she was 5. -Jesus Kei, they're just like normal people- She ket out a sigh and rubbed her wrist out of nervous habit. Everyone seemed to be in a warm conversation, and she didn't know how to approach them. Her stomach growled and she remembered how her brothers would joke that her stomach was trying to communicate with the real world. She saw a boy looking up at the ceiling and she looked up too. "Wow" she muttered as she watched the floating candles bob up and down in the air. Not to mention the ceiling was now portraying a beutiful replica of the night sky. She sighed again and looked back down again only to find an entire buffet in front of her. She was hungry. Did they have pizza?

The Gryffindor Table 2019-2020
She'd just been put into Gryffindor.
What would her Hufflepuff parents say? Her thoughts were whirling around madly in her head, and she was oblivious to the tables cheers as she sat down. Sure, the food and drink seemed delicious, but she just couldn't focus on anything. Hyuna didn't even talk to anyone either side of her.
Then the girl started stressing about talking to anyone at all. She wasn't one to socialise at all, she liked quiet and peace, normally sitting on a window sill with a book so that she could fly away to her own world, where there were no problems and no people. It wasn't her fault she was so antisocial, it was all the friends she'd had in the past that had left her or betrayed her. Hyuna just couldn't trust anyone to be a really good friend.
She ate the food quietly as her eyes darted around the beautiful hall, and she actually was excited to spend her time here while she is in Hogwarts. Just spend her time alone, not with anyone else. Hyuna was terrified of betrayal, so why give someone the chance to do it in the first place?
Hyuna was starting to feel a bit dizzy, so she sipped some water and took deep breaths. There was a loud crowd all around her and she pretty much hated it, but she would have to stay here until she could go to sleep in her dorm room. To keep herself occupied, she simply stared up at the beautiful, decorative ceiling, that looked like the stars in the sky.

The Gryffindor Table 2019-2020
I'm finally here.
The newly sorted students sat in front, which was another experience in and of itself. You were there with the older Gryffindors! They were nice, yes, but they were intimidating none the less. Some of them had been askings questions with the other students. How do you feel about being in Gryffindor? Did you originally wanted to be placed here? Was it your dream to be part of our great house? Did you know that it was a Gryffindor who defeated You-know-who? Who is your favorite Headmaster?. The questions were never ending. And, of course, there was also the fact that you could have an eye to eye contact with the professors who were seating and observing the students in the front. She dared not move her eyes to that part of the room.
In front of her was another sort of experience. Food. Her family never had to worry about their next meal. They were middle class and they lived a simple life. So, looking at the feast in front of her, she wondered if all this extravagance was necessary - though she had seen some of the students were really enjoying their food. It was not that she complaining. She was just not used to it. She also discovered something else. She loved her sweets and it seemed that just thinking about it makes it appear on the table. In plenty. She took a bite on those and wondered if she could bring some with her to her room later.

The Gryffindor Table 2019-2020
Aurelia rushed towards the cheering Gryffindor table. She had hoped deep down that she would be sorted into Gryffindor and was relieved that her wish came true. What would her parents say? She knew for sure that her mum would be proud. She had been a Gryffindor herself. She looked around and saw many older students chatting loudly amongst each other. Aurelia looked around at the people she was sitting with. Some of the first years didn't seem happy with the house they got sorted in. Then, she spotted a girl with grey hair sitting by herself across from Aurelia. Maybe she needs someone to talk to? She seems a bit shy. "Hey! You there!", Aurelia said while waving at the girl, "I am Aurelia, Aurelia Roberts. You can call me Auri if you like! What's your name? What class do you think you'll like? I am really excited for Flying class. Oh, I can't wait to go to my lessons!", Aurelia blushed, she realized she had rambled a bit. She looked down at her golden plate. Oh no... I scared her off. Why do I always talk so much? What if she doesn't want anything to do with me? Aurelia glanced up again quickly and saw the girl looking at her. Well at least I got her attention.Interacting with @Keiran Santiago

The Gryffindor Table 2019-2020
Rose hops down from the stool after getting sorted into Gryffindor, smiling giddily as she walks over to her new house's table, the cheering and applause from Gryffindor pushing her nervousness to the back of her mind.
``I made it into Gryffindor! Mother and Father will be quite proud I think. I cant wait to find a good group of people to hang out with. Will the people here accept me? What if they think girls shouldn't have really short hair? Oh, there's a seat!``
Rose had thought that as she walked to the table and searched for a seat. When she had found one, she sat down, not really paying attention to the people around her as she picks up a goblet/cup, inspecting the design with awe, and looking at how the amazing ceiling reflects off the shiny material.
``This place is Amazing! No wonder Mother and Father wanted me to do my schooling at Hogwarts instead of in France or America.``
Rose looks around at her new house-mates, taking note of the ones who recently got sorted, and which ones have prefect badges, or look like they are very friendly. She rubs the ruby in her necklace with the pad of her thumb subconsciously, thinking of who'd likely be a good best friend.

"Hey! You there!", a girl said waving at her, "I am Aurelia, Aurelia Roberts. You can call me Auri if you like! What's your name? What class do you think you'll like? I am really excited for Flying class. Oh, I can't wait to go to my lessons!"
"Woah princess slow down" she said, "let's play 8ball" thats a joke btw (idk if i'm using it right though ;-;
And then her mind finally started processing what the girl said. "I'm Keiran." She informed Aurelia, though avoiding her eyes. Keirans mother had told her this was a bad habit, but she didn't like eyes. They could give so much away with just one glance. Knowing to much was a blessing and a curse. Instead she took in the girls hair. Dark brown with blue tips. She was most likely a dependable person. And judging from her outburst, very social, which Keiran was not. She tended to avoid talkative people, not because she had anything against them, but because talking was so difficult for her. But on the plus side, Aurelia seemed to be the type of person to have a cat. "Hey, um, do you have a cat?" She blurted. She considered fake fainting, wiki how had informed her on every detail.
Interaction with @Aurelia Roberts (also i guessed on your speech color thingy)

The Gryffindor Table 2019-2020
Eyes twinkling as she got sorted into the Gryffindor house, at first she thought she would become a Hufflepuff like her parents were but no... Secretly feeling a little happy as she never truly wanted to be a Hufflepuff in the first place, Gryffindor suited her personality more. With a beaming face, she nearly skipped towards her table, not hiding her cheerfulness at all. Sitting down on an empty seat, next to some other first years she would spending her time with... probably. Her eyes scanning over the room, watching the floating candles together with what seemed like expensive utensils. And then she got to the food which appeared out of nowhere. This day couldn't get any better. Being sorted into her favorite house, about to meet new people and now a bunch of good food was in front of her.
Unconsciously licking her lips at the sight of the feast before digging in like the others. It even tasted good ! There was roast beef an chicken, pork chops, sausages, bacon, steak, joints, steak and kidney pie, boiled potatoes, and so on... Her eyes widening at the sight of her favorite of them all: strawberries. She could eat a ton of those without feeling sick. Keeping the best for the last, she filled up her plate neatly with a bit of everything. It started to form a little mountain which was about to be devoured in just a couple of minutes. One of her bad traits as her parents said in a joking way.

Aurelia wasn't expecting her to answer or at least not the way she did. "Woah princess slow down," the girl said, while Aurelia blushed even harder and lowered her gaze towards the golden plate again, "let's play 8ball".Interacting with @Keiran Santiago || Open to interactions!
Aurelia looked up and stared. She had not expected that. Did she say 8ball? What the heck is that?! She saw that the girl wasn't making eye contact with her instead the girl's grey eyes were looking down. Who is this girl and what is wrong with her? Aurelia thought, not meaning it in a bad way, just merely confused. She still hasn't introduced herself. Weird... As if reading Aurelia's mind the girl added: "I'm Keiran".
Aurelia's curiosity grew and she mustered the girl more carefully. Her hair wasn't actually grey, but rather black hair that was dyed white. Still trying to process everything and still very confused Aurelia said: "Um... hi 8ball" Wait, no. That wasn't her name. Dammit! "Uh, I mean Keiran" Aurelia had never been more embarrassed in her life, but this girl was quite confusing.
As if that wasn't enough the girl added: "Hey, um, do you have a cat?" Aurelia's mind was spinning. A cat? Where did that come from? Aurelia never had a pet, although she grew up with her older brother Ben's screech owl named Pixie. "No I don't... although now I kinda wish I did" Aurelia laughed, everything seemed absurd and unreal.
Finally, Aurelia organized her thoughts."What is an 8ball?", those were the only words that made it out of her mouth even though Aurelia had a bunch more questions to ask. This girl was still not making eye contact and Aurelia grew impatient and all she wanted to do was tell the girl: Why aren't you making eye contact with me? Why did you ask me about playing 8ball before introducing yourself? Why do you think I have a cat and why didn't you answer my questions! Aurelia took a deep breath, as if she had actually been saying all of this, looked up at the girl, put on a smile and stretched out her hand. "Well nice to meet you Keiran"

The Gryffindor Table 2019-2020
" GRYFFINDOR! "
That was what the sorting hat had said, and soon enough, everyone was cheering. "Ack!?!" " Jeez I knew it would be loud but all this just because of one word?!? " she thought to herself before searching for her table. She glanced at every table and easily found what she could only assume was Gryffindor. Above the table were red and gold banners decorated with lions. Not to mention that everyone at the table seemed to be signalling her to them. She smiled sheepishly and quickly went to the table, making sure not to trip or freeze up and make a fool of herself. She had just gotten there, after all, she wouldn't want to embarrass herself that quickly. She didn't really like the fact that she had to pass by every other table in order to reach her own, it meant that all eyes were on her as she walked. She didn't really know how to deal with the staring, so she just looked ahead. When she reached her table, she quickly found a seat next to a random boy. By the looks of it, he was her age, maybe a little older. He was talking to his friends and didn't notice her sit down. She was perfectly fine with that, she personally didn't want much attention, nor did she need it. People would talk to her when they were ready to, she wouldn't bother anyone unless she absolutely had to, and with that thought, she decided to eat.

The Gryffindor Table 2019-2020
Ainsley quickly sat down alongside the other first-year Gryffindors, glancing at the people around her. Her eyes met the girl's in front of her and she smiled slightly in greeting before peering up at the ceiling. It was fantastic. She'd never seen anything like it. She'd read about it, and knew that it wasn't truly an open ceiling, just an enchantment, but it was still amazing. The candles just floated in the air over the tables, and considering that Ainsley had never seen magic performed before, it fascinated her. When she glanced back down again, the older students to her left seemed to be speaking among themselves again quietly as they waited for the next student to be called.
She studied the other students, smiling again at the girl in front of her. As she glanced around, she couldn't help but wonder what her brother-in-law would think. When she'd gotten her letter, he'd explained what Hogwarts was, and he'd explained the House system as best he could, but he'd wanted to give Ainsley a chance to experience the wizarding world herself, possibly alongside new friends that he seemed to believe she'd find here, at Hogwarts. With that thought, she glanced around again at the other first-years. She'd never really been the type to just start talking to people. She didn't really even know what to say. She sighed. Maybe it wouldn't be as hard to speak to these people as it was to try and be friends with muggle children...
