Hyuna's parents come from South Korea, yet she has lived in England almost her whole life, since when she was two, she moved from her birthplace, Busan in South Korea, to England. She has long brown hair, and brown eyes. Her first accidental magic was when she was four years old and set her bully's clothes on fire when they said something rude to her. The ministry of magic had to send an Oblivator using a memory charm on the bully so he wouldn't remember about the incident. She almost got in some big trouble. Her family were delighted, however, that she was, in fact, a witch.

She has lived a normal, happy life going to school like a normal person, however, she is not that nice. Hyuna is very loud and social- what? Of course she isn't. She's very, very shy and has a cold exterior, but if you annoy her and persist she might open up to you. You will not become friends with her upon first meeting. She finds it very hard to trust others. She is nice to people she is close to, but it takes a lot of time and effort for her to trust others. It depends on her mood how fast she’ll open up. Just don't be fooled by her cute looks. It will take you at least four meetings to get her attention, unless you’ve miraculously made her hypnotised. Which won't happen, unless it's a miracle. She probably already hates your guts already even if she hasn’t met you.

No worries though, she still has a heart and she’s ready to cooperate with people when needed. She tends to stay quiet until people are super stuck, which is when she will swoop in and try to help with her sometimes random ideas. Hyuna was raised to be polite, kind, and open minded, but it didn't seem to work. There was a heavy focus on working well with others, being responsible and respectable as that was the key to being successful in the wizarding world.
She retained a lot of those teachings, a dazzling and intelligent student that was commonly made into a role model, not by her attitude though.

One thing her parents weren’t expecting out of her was the level of aggression and the competitive spirit she had. Call it what happens when you grow up with a lot of older siblings you feel the need to do as well or better than, and a case of having too many rough and tumble brothers around, but this girl fancies herself to be quite tough. For someone who acts so antisocial, this girl would really just sometimes love a hug.
