The weather outside was nice, but the boy inside was too focused to even look outside the large windows. The end-of-term exam was near, and the boy was determined to get all Os. Even in Flying and Herbology. But in both subjects, he needed to focus on the practical side. Which he already had 'helpers' or 'tutors' for.
Flipping the book shut, he moved to another book he had on the table for potions. He didn't really need to study potions, whatever's on the curriculum, he remembered it at the back of his head. But one can always improve, right? Flipping the book open to the marked page, noting down in a clean parchment the instructions of the potion. He had made many more notes for other subjects, too.
A sudden fall of the book from behind made him stand up. Probably some dumb guy, he stood up to see no one, dismissing the strange scene, he made his way back to his table, now with a stranger there. Ignoring her, he sat down. It is a public space, and I can not stop someone from being here. He sighs, doing his best to ignore her. Jotting down the ingredients and instructions in an easy manner, for easy access and because some annoying Ravenclaw has been pestering him to share his notes.

Lena had always been an overachiever, even before Hogwarts. School had never been something that she struggled with. She down at a table in the library, nobody was sitting there, but there were books. She flipped open her Defense of Dark Arts book, starting to read it, pretending it made any sense. She hadn't even noticed someone had sat across from her. She picked up her pencil, trying take note about what she read, but every time she tried to write, her hand would freeze up. She thought to herself, This doesn't make any sense.
After a while of staring at the blank paper, she began to get frustrated, looking around, thinking she was alone. When she looked up, to her surprise, there was a boy sitting across from her. She decided to get up and walk around to try and clear her head and revisit this in a few minutes.
After a few minutes, she had sat back down, opening her book her again. The words looked like gibberish to her, she really didn't understand why she didn't understand. She sighed, looking at the boy, maybe he could help her. She kept glancing at the boy and at her book, it took her a second to actually work up the courage to say something to him. After five minutes of just awkwardly staring at him, she finally said something to him. "Excuse me" She said quietly. The boy looked up at her, then she got nervous again. "Do you think you could help me with this, it doesn't make any sense to me." She looked back down at her book, hoping he would say yes.
