Her eyes followed his to his empty glass on the table and she was getting a pretty good feeling she was just bothering the boy, just as she probably had bothered him when she was in the hospital wing during his recovery from the fire/lake incident. This little thank you breakfast invitation had run its course, so it seemed.
"Alright, well, Ross Stephens, hopefully you can manage to stay awake during your Potions classes this week," that he hated so much, "and I wish you the very best of luck with Charms but I don't think you'll need it. Thanks for letting me tag along today," she kept the departure a positive one. As she spoke she placed the last bit of her things into her bag and brought it over her shoulder, ready now to begin her day.
It was time to be heading out for the day anyway as the first classes were to start soon. Some of the students had already begun filing out through the Great Hall and into the Courtyard and Corridors, some heading back up to their dormitories for some forgotten last minute items or assignments they forgot to grab. "Have a great week."

Mondays Are For Beginnings
Ross' shoulders seemed to relax as he redirected his attention back to the girl once more. It was about time anyways. Classes would be starting rather soon, and Ross despised being late. Well, it was not as if it was an uncommon occurrence but it was not as if he was fond of it. It was a friendly reminder at the least to not be late to his first class of the day.
"You as well." Is all he remarked after she was done speaking, giving the girl that smile of his that was almost clueless.
As she began to head off, Ross simply waved. It was nice to have someone to spend breakfast with, even if it was only one day. It was a new experience, even though he had other places to go. Well, that was not entirely true. Most of his friends already had things set up. Flash and Willow had their walks, and the majority of his other friends he accidentally set on fire.
Once he was certain she had gotten far out of sight, he grasped onto the few items he had brought to the lunch room and began his way towards the classroom in which he regularly started out in. Of course, it was the most boring class of all; however, it was not as if he could complain when it was pretty much an easy E.
