Reyna creeped down the empty hallways before reaching the ballroom. As silently as she possibly could, she opened the doors and slipped into the pitch black room.

"Lumos," she whispered and her wand lit up, illuminating the room around her. Quickly, she checked that no one else was in the room with her. When she could see no one else, she let out a breath she hadn't noticed that she had been holding.

She shrugged off the bag that she had on her shoulders and opened it, pulling out a pair of taps shoes and a small wooden board. She gently set the board down and pointed her wand at it. "Engorgio," she said, watching as the board swelled in size. Reyna smiled a bit t herself, remembering how long she had spent mastering that charm.

She slipped on her tap shoes and quickly double-knotted them, her fingers flying as she tied them . She stood up,  the shoes making faint clicking sounds against the floor. She stepped on the board, and her feet began to practically fly across the board, making a song of her ow with her feet. In fact, Reyna was so into the dance and the rhythm that she didn't notice the ballroom doors open or the student that was now standing there.

Peach couldn't sleep. She knew the rule against leaving the dorms at night but she couldn't resist and she wanted to see the castle in the moonlight. She crept out of her house dorms and she found herself in the huge empty corridors of the school. It was extremely dark and she could faintly see the portraits sleeping. She was in her comfy pajamas and she was wearing no shoes. The ground was cold but it felt nice and she could see the moon trying to slither through the cracks in the walls and the windows. It gave everything an ethereal atmosphere and she felt at peace. She was walking, with no idea of where she could go when she heard footsteps. She froze and took a step back to realize that it was just another student who also wanted to test their limits. She smiled and started walking towards them when they took a turn to the right and she heard a door close.

She didn't know where they went, so she didn't try to look further. She kept on walking, being careful to not fall on a professor that had decided to do its round now. She could sometimes see the light that was coming out of their wands and their slow steps that resonated into the empty walls. When it would happen, she'd hide behind a statue or next to a portrait hoping that she wouldn't be caught.

She was walking in a vast corridor when she heard noises coming from a room. These noises weren't footsteps but they resembled it. They were just too fast to be footsteps. She tried to localize the room where the noise came from and it's when she saw a ray of light coming from under the door that she smiled.

"Gotcha..."

She gently pushed open the door and discovered a young girl dancing beautifully on a wooden panel. It seemed as if she was flying gracefully over it and Peach was mesmerized. She closed the door and stood there, watching the girl dance with envy. She couldn't dance, she preferred piano.

As Reyna's feet flew across the surface of the board, she grew tired after awhile. She slowed down a bit, not wanting to injure herself, then finally stopped, taking deep breaths, her hands on her knees. Her throat was parched for water, and Reyna stood up, her goal to get to her bag and get out the bottle of water she had packed. However, upon standing up, Reyna saw Peach.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Reyna hissed, grabbing her wand and pointing it at the other girl. Reyna was still breathing heavily, but her eyes flashed with anger and also slight fear. She was slightly angry with the other girl for spying on her, but she was also afraid that this girl would turn her in. I don't need Mom and Dad to hear about me getting a detention, Reyna worried.

Quickly Reyna noticed that the other girl was a Hufflepuff. Ah... Mom and Dad told me that Huflepuffs are usually softspoken... if she tries to report me maybe I could just curse her? I don't think that she would fight back... Reyna quickly ran a list of spells in her head that could stop the other girl if she ran off to tell on her. Petrificus Totalus should work... she mused.

Peach kept watching the girls dancing until this one stopped and turned around. Upon seeing the Hufflepuff, she pointed her wand at her and spoke angrily. She asked her who she was and why she was here. She didn't seem very nice and Peach regretted following her, although she could dance very well. Peach had hidden her wand in her sleeve but she didn't think about using it. She gently smiled at the angry girl.

" Hi, my name's Peach. I couldn't sleep so I went out for a walk but then heard you dancing and got curious. It doesn't seem as if professors walk around this spot so good idea. You dance beautifully. What is that dance called? "

Peach took a step towards the young girl to observe her shiny black shoes with small heels. These shoes were pretty but they seemed a little uncomfortable. No one danced in Peach' s family. Well, maybe during holidays but never professionally with a goal in mind so seeing someone such as this angry young girl was quite surprising. Good surprising though.

Peach looked around the room and she realized that it was a massive open ballroom. Heavy curtains were covering the big windows so that no light could reach the inside. Tables were put on one side and chair on another side, on a scene. She hadn't been there yet but it was really pretty, and it could be prettier when lit up and such. She didn't want to make herself known to professors so she didn't use a lumos or such to do so.

Eira, holding a flyer in her hand, squeeze her fists as she kept thinking over and over about the Quiddich Try Outs. She was too excited for the night and it was late and past curfew hours. She couldn't sleep. She got up from her bed, sitting at the edge and started to put on her slippers. She wonder if there were any records of her mom playing on the Quiddich team, or if not, she wanted to know more about Quiddich. Eira made her decision and plan to head out to the Library.

She slipped under an oversize t-shirt over her tanktop and sneaked past her roomates. It was a lot darker out in the hallway than she might have imagined it to be.  She was trying to remember where the Library was since she was still pretty new to Hogwarts. She knows it's somewhere on the 4th floor, and the House of Hufflepuff is on the 1st floor.

She closed her eyes and held her breath before saying "LOO-mos" in a whisper, and the tip of her wand formed a small bead of light. It didn't cover much ground area, but it was the perfect light for sneaking around. She giggle to herself, "Hehe I've never sneak around before." Eira was enjoying the excitment of being a rebel.

Few minutes past and Eira finally made it on the 4th floor. She almost got caught on the 3rd floor. One of the professors were out and about taking patrols in the hallway and luckily took an opposite direction from Eira.

"I wish my dorm wasn't so far from the library." she said under her breath.
"So many stairs and ground to cover to get here."
"Now the trouble part is finding the library on this floor."

Eira wonder where she is at, and walked past a few great double doors. However, one door stood out as she heard mumbles and whispers as she walked by. She stopped to listen but couldn't make out the words. In her attempt of her curiosity, she barely cracked open the door to find it unlocked. It was too dark but barely enough to make out two students. One had her wand out in a offence positon, and the other look a bit hesitant. Eira started to panic.

"Is this going to be a fight?" she wondered. Then forgetting she had her wand out, still emulating light at the tip of her wand, Eira immediatley started to fumble her fingers trying cover the light. Because in the mist of her "sneakiness" (which she's not good at) and the feeling of panic, she had forgoten how to dispell the charm and dropped her wand on the floor.

Reyna whirled around as she heard someone else drop their wand. Really? The ONE night I want to just dance and relax, people decide to come down here? she thought, growing slightly frustrated. Controlling her temper had never been a strong point for her, and her vision grew slightly spotty with anger.

"First off, I would like to know exactly who both of you are, and why you're both deciding to bother me, and why tonight of all nights!" Reyna whisper shouted, the tip of her wand starting to glow a faint red, due to it reading her emotions. "What is this, a Hufflepuff 'Let's stalk that person!' tradition her something?"

Reyna felt almost on the verge of tears, stress from the past few days overwhelming her. Adjusting to the new people, the new lessons, it all just felt like too much. And now, when she had decided to clear her mind a bit, these two people had decided to wander the castle and come watch her, piling on even more stress. Reyna choked back a slight sob as she rubbed her eyes, acting like there was a problem with the contact lenses she wore to improve her vision. However, despite all her efforts, a rebellious little tear streaked down her face.

"First off, I would like to know exactly who both of you are, and why you're both deciding to bother me, and why tonight of all nights! What is this, a Hufflepuff 'Let's stalk that person!' tradition her something?" said the young dancer. The Hufflepuff frowned in confusion. That girl seemed seriously angry but the Huffle didn't understand why. She had been nice and polite and hadn't tried to cause any harm.

She could see the dancer slowly lose her temper as the other Hufflepuff stood there. Peach looked over at this one and smiled gently. She then looked back at the angry girl to find her crying a little. She frowned a little more but then her traits sweetened. She took a step forward and help her hand out, as to help or as comfort.

" Hey, it's ok. I'm sorry we just came in like that, you're just really talented and Hufflepufs are curious. If you want we can leave, or at least I can. " she said sweetly, not wanting to speak for her house companion. She wasn't going to bother the crying girl anymore. If this one didn't want any company, she wouldn't have any company.

She heard the upset cries from the student when she realize she was in the house of Gryffindor, and the other student was a Hufflepuff. She felt shockingly pain in her heart when she felt the emotions of the Gryffindor across the room. Inside, she felt confuse at the situation and sad. She shouldn't have eavesdrop. This is a new wave of emotion she had never experience before, and doesn't know how to react to it. Eira took a deep breath to calm her unsettling heart. She should first apologize to the Gryffindor. That's how her nanny taught her to be, though this will be the first.

Eira stepped out of the door opening it wide enough to fit through and enter the ball room. "I'm sorry I came in." she said it softly spoken yet with a little shakiness of nervousment. "I heard something outside of the hallway while I was on my way to the Library.... .... .. and wanted to see what was going on." She felt her pride of being a rebel torn to peices, and remember a saying her home school teacher, Mr. Molony had said to her, "One of these days, that curiosity of yours will get the better of you." This was after the fact that she had grown a curious eye of spying her neighbors frequently, and knowing what they do on a daily basis. In fact this hasn't change even at Hogwarts. She had always kept to herself when she sees students walking by and keeping a mental note of whom and where each student like to be at in a certain time of day. She's still new to Hogwarts and haven't yet develop a heavy portfolio of the students. It was more like a hobby of her's but very unintentional.

Although she tossed and turned for what seemed like hours, Evianna could not sleep. She decided to bring a book and her wand down to the ballroom, and maybe bring her ballet slippers and dance for a while. Throwing a hoodie over her nightgown, she tied her slippers together and tucked a book under her arm and started down the stairs, whispering "Lumos" to light her way. When she arrived at the fourth floor, she heard crying from inside the ballroom.

She knocked on the door softly, then pushed it open in time to hear a Gryffindor girl speaking angrily to two Hufflepuffs. "First off, I would like to know exactly who both of you are, and why you're both deciding to bother me, and why tonight of all nights! What is this, a Hufflepuff 'Let's stalk that person!' tradition or something?" " Hey, it's ok. I'm sorry we just came in like that, you're just really talented and Hufflepufs are curious. If you want we can leave, or at least I can. " "I heard something outside of the hallway while I was on my way to the Library.... .... .. and wanted to see what was going on."

Evianna considered leaving, or finding an empty classroom, but the other dancer did seem very upset. She decided to at least apologise for disturbing her. "Hey, I'm sorry for disturbing you. I wanted to come down here to dance and clear my head. I can leave... if you want."

Adam was walking down a hallway foreign to him when he heard the sounds of an argument from a strange door. He'd never been to this part of the castle before, but he hadn't been able to sleep very well and decided that he needed a walk to clear his head. He hadn't really been paying attention to where he was going, but now, he found himself refocusing on whoever had made those noises. He hadn't been aware that anyone else was awake at this hour. He pulled his robes closer to him to block out a sudden chill as he closed the distance to the new door, and with only a second's hesitation, he pushed it open.

It was a large, incredibly ornate room. Decorated elegantly and openly, it seemed the optimal place for a party. This must have been Hogwarts' ballroom. Inside stood four girls, all apologizing to one another for reasons unknown to Adam. One of them looked like she had just walked in; he must have barely missed seeing her enter before rounding the corner himself. He was curious as to what they were doing down here, in the middle of the night, just the four of them. He wasn't sure whether it would be polite or not to walk in, but he supposed they couldn't get angry at him -- after all, he was doing just what he assumed they had been doing to get here. In the corner of his mind, he registered how breathtaking this place was, even when not being entirely used. He'd have to remember this for his meet-up for Anatole. For now, though, he just wanted to make sure nothing was really wrong in the ballroom. "Hello?" he called from the door, trying to seem as friendly as possible. "Is everything alright?"
