Remy would lug Lotus around his neck all the way up the stairs with repeated grunting and huffing as he practically kept a loose grip on Lotus's ankles. He was heading outside. Outside, to the whomping willow, where he could meet his hero, his god, his whatever you want to call it.
After more walking, more steps put into his nonexistent apple watch, he finally arrived and looked at the beauty of the gnarled tree, the reflecting water of the lake, the beautiful trees of the forbidden forest, and then of course, the dastardly and disgusting stone castle that kept him awake at night with their horrendous homework and cold floors.
He dropped Lotus onto the ground and walked forward, inch by inch until he could practically smell the blood that dried on the bark. Oh, it smelled ravishing. The Half-Giant spoke softly. "Me know what like to be you. Me strong, all easy punch, all stupid, all.." He felt his mouth go cotton-dry as he ran out of things to say to the tree.
Granted, he wasn't up close, but he was about to be. And he was about to find out how hard a Whomping Willow could whack someone. He walked forward, closer, and without a warning, Remy felt a hard punch in his ribcage, sending him flying into a hard rock, nearly to tumble backwards down the hill into the Great Lake, but of course, Remy caught himself and grumbled. He thought that by being nice the Whomping Willow could take a chill pill and tone down, but alas, he needed to fight fire with fire, it seemed.

I just layed where he had dropped me after making a soft undignified "oooghf" noise looking up at the lightly cloudy sky. I'd then look over at him as he said something about being stupid to the poor tree that I just knew had been through enough in all of the time it's been on hogwarts grounds and I couldn't but take a moment to wonder if the tree was brought to stay on the grounds or if it grew here.
"I don't think yer stupid... I think-"
I was cut off by an abrupt THWAK! only to pull myself to my feet and look for where Remy had gone as I could only guess at to where the tree had smacked him.
Once I saw him I took off towards him after my hair turned various different colors all at once as if a color wheel got spun very fast and it did till I had made it over to him and my hair would turn back to its normal purple but I well my skin was a slightly weird shade of blue.
I'd stick a hand out to help him up
"um are you uhh? Are you not bleeding after that?"
I wasn't really sure what to ask because I really couldn't tell if he was OK or bleeding even."That tree has always been like that well that's something my aunt told me"

Remy slapped Lotus's hand away as if he were offending him then with a brief hesitation, grabbed his wrist and tried to use it to pull himself up, but Remy was too heavy. Too big. So he let go and turned to his knees and pushed himself up. He puffed up his chest. "Tree hit like baby. Me have worse from other when he throw Remy down hill for fun." The giants really did enjoy asserting their dominance, not that Remy didn't either, it's just, as the smallest giant in the group, he was often the picked on dweeb.
He dusted himself off then turned back towards the Whomping Willow with the exact same expression people get when they see a puppy.
... A very violent, very illegal puppy. Cruella de Ville would hate them.
"See, he like Remy. He say hello." The tree swung at him and Remy only dodged it narrowly by leaning back and laughed as if it were the best day of his life. He pointed at Lotus though, he noticed the colors changing and with a bit of confusion he raised his eyebrow. "You furrarran possessed?"
Another branch whistled past his ear and he grinned wider.
"Me gonna fight him." He took one step forward as if he were about to square up with a centuries old tree. He thrust one fist into the bark then another then another, then of course it was the Willow's turn, sending him flying back again. But oh, Remy wasn't done.

I was still blue and hadn't exactly noticed that until he slapped my hand away. Oh! I'm blue! I'd look at Remy with a concerned expression and mutter
"What?"
I wasn't really sure sure I liked the idea of him getting thrown around as I had dubbed him a friend even if he didn't think the same of me and only saw me as someone to lug around. "Remy I think that he's just a tree and can't really say hi.. Um yes I'm blue it--it happens.... sometimes.. Uh it's normal.. kinda"
I was a bit confused and worried about being blue because up to this point it was only ever my hair that changed colors.
"Remy. Remy please"
I sort of whine at him. I didn’t find it fun to watch them have a go at each other. I thought the tree was neat and I wasn't wanting to see the hospital wing at all this year if I could help it. I wasn't a fan of hospitals not after.. no I wasn't even going to think about that I had some one to worry over now.I whine again at Remy
"please Remy what are you even doing??This is how you become a ghost not see them!"

Remy had gotten up from his previous flinging like he were a baseball and the whomping willow a bat. He looked at Lotus like the boy had grown a second head, of course, he asked already but with his hair being blue? He wasn't so convinced that Lotus was entirely truthful.
He demanded, asking the question again. "Why you BLUE?" He stomped over and poked Lotus's ear with one finger. "You sick? Tree do this? TREE MAKE YOU BLUE?" Without giving him a chance to answer, he turned violently towards the Whomping Willow again with his fury ignited brighter than the fireworks that rained across the midnight sky on the Fourth of July.
"YOU MAKE LOTUS BLUE? ME BREAK YOU HALF!" He snarled loudly, and a branch swung. Luckily, this time Remy ducked and laughed like a gremlin. "HA! YOU TRY. YOU STUPID. ME TOO STRONG!"
He threw a hard punch into the trunk of the tree then dropped to the ground rolling away from another branch strike as he stood up and faced Lotus. "Me no die." He snapped. "Me no ghost. Me too mad to die." He wiped blood from his lip with the back of his hand. "You stay. You no move. You small. You break easy." Remy turned to face the tree again. One of these days he was going to eliminate that horrible curse that was placed onto the land of Hogwarts. "Me hurt tree."
He couldn't help himself, adding under his breath. "Lotus no more turn blue."

"um Remy it just changes colors sometimes"
I'd shake my head in an attempt to clear it and maybe get my hair to go back to it's normal purple.
"no mm not sick an--and even if I was I'd still be fine!"
I'd look back over at the poor tree and wonder if the tree could make me sick but then I'd ultimately decide that a tree even if it was magical it couldn't make me sick. Because trees just don't make people sick well that was unless they had some sort of allergy to them.
"I don't think trees can make people sick"
I'd mumble more to myself than Remy or the tree as I stared at the grass beneath me and felt as green as the grass looked.
I'd actually lay down on the ground and curl up into a ball as I watched Remy and the tree go at each other.
I'd mumble something along the lines of
"yes yes I am small"
I looked like I wanted to either cry or vomit because I most definitely didn't like watching the guy I considered a friend get beaten by a tree. My hair had turned an sick green sort of yellow instead of my normal purple.
I am so very sorry for how long this took me to do. And well he's not blue anymore

Remy stopped charging at the Whomping Willow when he saw Lotus. He was no longer a smurf, instead he had a new color on his head. He was so confused as to why his hair appeared to be of a horrible, cursed and traumatizing color that must've been the result of eating a thousand algae or something from a stillwater pond. His face had twisted in horror and he yelled. "WHY YOU LOOK LIKE VOMIT?" He felt a hard impact to his side and he turned towards the whomping willow as he flew backwards again. "YOU STUPID."
He stood up and faced Lotus. "Why you deen like on ant?" (pond plant) He spoke and waved his hands around his head as if to mimic Lotus's hair shape but only made it appear ten times worse.
Remy thought his hair reminded him of those green slime on the water that smelled bad, or like a frog sneezed on him. He crouched down over Lotus's head as if he were solving some form of murder. The murder of the blue. "Tree do this? Tree ate you... a?" He meant to say make him a swamp but he didn't know how to say that.
He picked up a rock and flung it towards the Whomping Willow as hard as he could.
He threw another one, hoping to hear a dull thud.
And another one, only this time the Whomping Willow must've thought it was baseball as it struck the rock back towards Remy hard. Harder than a concussion one would get playing major league baseball.
But Remy wasn't out. Remy only fell to the ground rubbing his head with anger. That does it. He was going to uproot this tree once and for all!
