Songwriting competition!
SONG: Not Alone Tonight by @Lily Clarke
ReducioI used to walk the streets with headphones on,
Trying to drown the weight I carried home,
Every crowd felt like a thousand ghosts,
And I was learning how to be alone.
Then you found me in the quiet noise,
Like a light through a tired window pane,
You never asked me to be somebody else,
You just stayed when the sky turned gray.
And maybe we’re both a little broken,
Maybe that’s why we understand,
You held the pieces I was dropping
Without asking for my hands.
So if the night ever gets heavy,
If the world burns a little too bright,
I know I don’t have to carry it alone tonight.
Through the echoes and through the silence,
Through every storm we fight,
You remind me there’s a reason
I have survived.

We laughed like kids with bruises hidden,
Turning scars into inside jokes,
