Lana laughed when he inquired about Lana and Gem starting a fire in the common room. "No silly, we hadn't done it in the common room. He found me out by the grounds and proposed it since I was feeling a bit down." She said as she glanced off to the rest of the courtyard. Lana then thought of the moment him and his rather large cat had stumbled across her that day, finding her reading that god awful letter her mother had sent. It was a nice moment now that she thought about it.꧁༒•interactions: @Leonard Oaksworth @Lizzie Verdine •༒꧂
Once the boy had proposed about ratting the two out, she giggled and cut her eyes sharply. She sensed he was too timid to actually do such a thing, and hardly felt threatened. Even if he had been a hundred percent serious she still probably wouldn't have bothered. Though to keep the conversation interesting, she played along.
"Is that right mister Leo? You know, I'd do anything for you not to rat us out." She said with a smirk, her flirtatious sarcasm almost too much for her to take seriously. Instead of carrying it on too much further though, she adjusted her necklace and waited for a reaction of her own.
How exciting..

Leonard could usually process information quite well, he’d like to say.
However, the keyword in that statement was usually. Such as the time he processed the information in his Hogwarts acceptance letter. Sure, it had been a surprise and taken some time, but he could process it and understand it.
Usually did not usually include girls who might be flirting with him, not in his experience.
Might because he had little to no exposure to the world of hopeless romantics. There was one time in kindergarten, when a boy named Brayden offered to share apple slices. In the preschool world, that was the equivalent of getting down on one knee and popping the question, while cherubs came down from heaven to serenade you.
Now, it was just an invitation for a healthy snack.
Also, they were eleven. Number Seven could wait.
“Well, there are several things I would like,” he started, simpering. He then brought out a piece of blank parchment, the list of his demands. “Number one, a dragon egg for my backyard. Number two, two boxes of glair paint. Number three, a Caesar salad. Number four, a pink fedora. Number five, a roasted flamingo. And lastly, number six, a pack of breath mints. Think you and Mister Gem could procure that?”

Is this guy trying to bargain with Lana? She smiled at the boy. She admired him a bit. Lizzie did have it in her to bargain with people not not Lana. It was only probably she didn't want to ruin their friendship. It was normally teachers and other students who actually got 'black-mailed'.
"A flamingo? Where you gonna get a Flamingo? The Hogwarts Zoo?" She laughed and hugged her stomach, "I also thought it was illegal to have a dragon egg. What do you need a pink fedora for? And a pack of breath mints? You trying to impress a lady?" She questioned. Where are all these things coming from? Is he like gonna pull a prank on the whole school?
"I'm not sure Gem would want to do that." She stated looking to the Slytherin who had literally pulled out a whole list of things he wanted, "What else is on that list? Can I see? It must be extravagant amusing the first few items." She grinned at him in hopes of actually being able to see it.
"I think you have a wild imagination, mister." She teased while giggling once again. It was a bit out of there. Lizzie pushed back yet another piece of hair and huffed. She quickly took out a bobble from her bag and tied her hair up. One problem with being a girl. The long hair made it hard to see people properly but it could also hide you embarrassed face as well.

“Well, you see, I require the flamingo for a backyard barbecue I’ll be attending later. It’s one of the less exotic ones, and so I need to make up for that. Hence, the dragon egg. We won’t eat it, don’t worry. No, we’ll just drink its blood, nothing too weird. The pack of mints is necessary, dragons surprisingly don’t smell too good. The glair paint is to pass the dragon egg as a common ostrich’s. And the fedora?” He shrugged. “I just like the colour pink.”
Leonard smiled, so wide that if he sustained it any longer it would hurt. If he were to choose actor as a career path, he’d certainly succeed. Actors were just professional liars, were they not? And he was an expert in lying. Just ask his parents. Or his extended family. Or that poor man on the bus, just a few months back.
His eyes went down the paper, pretending to scan the nonexistent writing. “Well, my list is fairly empty after that, just a few berries only found in Peru, the odd felines and marine creatures here and there.”
He showed the empty parchment to the girls. “See? I mean, it’s not very hard to get, but I’m quite lazy.”

"A barbecue? At Hogwarts? Are you mad?" She was now laughing very hard, "You are a total weirdo you know and but that it what I love about you now." She admired anyone who could out smart her imagination. She wasn't implying by 'love' that she liked him no just a love of how they actually thought of all those ridiculous things. It was a talent.
She giggled even more, "Drink it's blood? Are you like a Vampire or something?" She didn't care if he was but that would make sense, "Dragons are normally not eaten by humans as well let alone have bad breath." She was defiantly going to make sure her and Leo kept in touch. They would be like the dream team. Except that could never happen since Lizzie already did that with Cassie and Blake.
"Peru. Isn't that in South America. When you gonna get the time to go there?" She asked while crossing her arms (she knew she was full of questions but they were actually genuine), "I knew you were interesting as soon as I saw your face. Anything actually realistic on there like get good grades. Marry a woman (or man I don't discriminate). Have ten kids."
She hopefully didn't make anybody uncomfortable with the mention of families but everything he had mentioned was pretty out of the ordinary. It was normal to have a bad relationships with families but Lizzie forgot due to her having such a big one and loving them all. Lizzie then wiped at her skirt (like always) to get all the dirt and small splashes of water of.
She looked to Lana , "You sure your going to be able to get all of that?" She chuckled once again, "I'd love to see you both stumble into the Courtyard with a pink fedora on your head." She smiled widely and looked back to Leo knowing they would good friends. He had the guts to actually ask for something so irrational. This guy is so cool!

Leonard bit the inside of his mouth, trying to stop from looking like a dope who’d just won the lottery. But he had won the lottery, in a way. In a strange, strange, arson-related way.
“Your wording is interesting,” he said, feigning thoughtfulness, as though this was a deeply philosophical debate, “Have ten kids? Get married? Get good grades? Is that what you call realistic?”
But really, have ten kids? He’d heard of families who’d had done that, but according to the same sources, they were dirt poor. Leonard would prefer to have enough money that he could raise just one child.
And getting married? Number Seven was important, sure, but he wasn’t in any rush to buy a diamond ring. Even though he did already have the perfect dress robes picked out.
(Navy blue with midnight lining, and a golden striped dicky bow. But that wasn’t very important.)
Get good grades? Did he look like he could do that?
And he was smiling again, so wide it ached. “And, no, I’m not a vampire,” he winked, in the most unsubtle way possible to close one eye. “Yet, anyways. I’m a total snack.”
Leonard turned to Lana, then. “And you better get all that, and if not, tell Gem to get ready for a few detentions.”

Lizzie laughed at the boys reaction, "I was brought up in London, darling." She nodded her head, "With all those posh people. Well, I'm not sure wanting ten children is realistic. I only want one. It's hard enough having five siblings." She rolled her eyes.
"Good grades is as realistic as it could get. You get the grades you want. Go into the profession you have always wanted. There simple." She shrugged her shoulders slightly. That was not what she would have to do though. It wouldn't matter how good of grades she got as long as she kept up with her musical instruments.
She looked to Leo and started again, "I heard getting married is one of the best joys in life. So yes. That is realistic but not for us since we are in First-Year." She shook her head and smiled while raising her eyebrows. The blonde-girl had always dreamed of getting married. it was one of those thins she was going to make sure went through in her life. It just had to be the right person, obviously.
Lizzie sighed a bit after hearing he was not a vampire. That was a relief but also not a relief because it would have bee cool being friends with a vampire. She straightened her back while noticing the boy 'wink' at her. She looked down at her knees and took a deep breath then looked back up.
"Are you trying to flirt with us, mister?" She grinned. It wasn't very subtle that she was doing the exact thing but in a harmless way. It wasn't like he was going to get down on one knee and they would run away to San Francisco to get married and then only then have the ten children. Well, at least by then she would have proved him wrong.
