OOC note:
1) While everything written is true for Dido, much is intentionally incorrect (eg: Dido is not in Ravenclaw)When Dido had first watched a Quidditch match, she had become instantly and irrevocably enthralled by the game, even more so than the prospect and experience of flying itself.
It had all of swimming’s speed, flying’s rush of adrenaline and the almost-overwhelming sense of danger which duelling matches did not seem to possess (Dido had not yet witnessed an unofficial duel which may have been better suited to fulfil her wish for “danger”).
Though that very first Quidditch match itself not included a huge number of hospital visits either and had ended with a grand total of only four Ravenclaws on the ground before the match’s end. In sharp contrast, Slytherin’s most recent match had been so littered with green-robed students falling through the air that it had done the impossible: convinced Dido that it was good that she wasn’t on the team and, more impressively, that she was in no way ready for a proper match.
This sudden aversion to Quidditch only lasted momentarily though as, before long, her compulsion had only come back stronger and fiercer than before. She had to get involved, even if she shouldn’t yet fly amongst the wild bludgers and incessant fouls herself.
So, somehow, she ended up sitting in the bleachers a half hour earlier than her small poster had described, waiting nervously for her opportunity to live vicariously through the students who could actually play Quidditch. Despite her decision not to take part, her hand was still absentmindedly clutching the school broom she had brought, ready to soar up into the air on the off chance that an odd number of players arrived. They were an odd bunch: mostly first years she barely recognised but a couple of older students as well, still as unknown to Dido. There was an overwhelming Slytherin majority, a fact that intrigued Dido as well as filling her with a certain underdog’s pride as she grinned at one of the older girls who was the only other Ravenclaw there. As they all gathered, Dido counted an even tally of ten heads, which was a shame for Dido but perhaps a blessing for the school nurse, She sighed, quietly, before standing up and beginning to speak.
“Hi there! This is- well, I’m Dido. I’m a first year and- This is, obviously, the little Quidditch match and-”
A thought suddenly flashed through Dido’s head. A worrying thought. Would I be blamed if one of them dies?!
“I- it- I know Quidditch can get quite violent so… please… Look- I can’t heal you. So please don’t fall too badly- or at least just… don’t die? Sorry.”
She took a deep breath, willing her quivering voice to “stop being pathetic” with all her might, sending a surge of focus towards her ongoing goal: to appear “cool” and likeable to the other students, especially the slightly older girl she recognised as the Ravenclaw prefect.
Sending a quick tentative smile towards Jada, the only student she had spent any huge prolonged period of time with, she lowered her pitch, raised her voice and spoke again, “I’m sure you all know the rules- or at least better than I do- so… have fun I guess!”
She watched them fly to their positions and, after checking they were ready and in the most authoritative voice she could muster, shouted, “BEGIN!”Information

The old and moldy bleachers creaked under Denise as she got up and dusted herself.
It's time.
The young Hufflepuff took a deep breath as she adjusted her clothes. Everyone else has filtered in. She flew again, on her entrusted Comet 180. She has been in many and plenty of unofficial quidditch matches now, and steadied her broom in the air, slowly to her position.
She's a bit more confident, yes, but also terrified at the same time, remembering the chaos that happened before.
The moderator was Dido Bleaklane, a fellow first year who had a nervous and frighten demeanor, very unlike the other moderators she meet, either they were cocky and confident or calm and poised, which the young girl fit in neither.
Denise had to scoff when she heard Dido politely asking everyone to not die. Quidditch is a violent sport indeed and without fouls and drama would be rather boring to watch.
And with no second-string players, she knew deep in her heart that things will go violent either way. She looked nervously at the opposing beater, a half-giant boy, Remy Break.
Well, Denise didn't know much about half-giants but hoped she wasn't the target. well, she probably will be eventually.
The air was clean, but she knew she will smell the blood soon, they were all Slytherins, TBC, and knew they will have something behind their backs.

Remy stomped onto the pitch with nothing but a raggedy school broom in his hand. He pretended he was entering a battlefield, where things were about to go as bloody as it could allow, the civil war of Hogwarts, one could say.
He looked at the other players. They looked so flimsy, so breakable and so, oh so tiny.
Good.
He barked to call some attention towards his handsome self. "THIS TWIG-ISH? THIS WHERE PEOPLE GET HIT WITH BALL?"
He grinned, all yellowed teeth gleaming in the natural light. Remy was about to yell out that he trained for it, but he wasn't sure exactly what it was he was training for. Did he actually know what he was doing?
He squinted towards Dido. She said something that offended him. Of course. Bloody evil woman right there. "WHY YOU SAY THAT? REMY NO FALL! REMY BREAK GROUND, GROUND NO BREAK REMY!" He hollered back, not even thinking about the fact that his last name was Break.
He thumped his chest then with a deep breath he hopped onto the broom. He was ready to go, ready to kick some butt. Especially with the beater's bat he had in his other hand. Oh he was ready to slam some iron balls into people's ears, shoulders, heads, whatever. It was such an exhilarating thought.

The brutal loss against Hufflepuff left Cecilia’s ego battered and bruised, even long after she was discharged from the hospital wing. To top it all off, she had to witness a nasty takedown from the lions. After the season they’ve had, not even a mouthful of caramels could wash the bitter taste off her tongue.
Now graduation neared, and the young captain felt as though she bore the weight of the world on her shoulders. Captaincy was a burden she chose to bear, but it still stung to feel so hopeless. Whilst sulking on her way from class, Cecilia had come across a rather interesting poster that promised an unofficial Quidditch game. Her fingers began twitching excitedly as she took note of the date and time. This was exactly what she needed to get back on her feet!
So there Cecilia was, on a bright spring day, gripping her broom as she jogged over to the pitch. “Hello,” she greeted everyone with a bright smile that concealed any trace of her nerves. Speaking of nerves, she could see that the girl hosting the match seemed a little unnerved.
“Don’t worry, there’s no Quidditch-related injury that Nurse Nancy can’t patch up,” she reassured Dido with a wide grin. I think.
Though Cecilia had spoken with such confidence, there was no guarantee that her statement was true.

The school year was coming to an end and she had succeeded in achieving two trips to the hospital wing, both of them owing to her mediocre quidditch skills. She'd spotted the poster hanging on the old announcement board in the common room announcing an unofficial match and decided to just turn up. What better way to improve than to train and play more often?
Jada still felt the shadows of the bruises that had covered her after her last Quidditch game. Knocked unconscious, once again. She didn't know what had gotten into her, joining another game but, hey, at least she was getting used to the hospital wing now.
She recognised a few of the others there including the Slytherin team's co-captain, @Cecilia Merrick. The host, very much to her surprise, was none other than @Dido Bleaklane, the annoying girl who had completed the Labyrinth with her a few months ago, standing next to that huge brute of a boy @Remy Break. Despite herself, Jada was glad they were on the same team, if only to avoid getting Bludgered by him.
Dido gave a little speech telling them all to 'please not die' un her usual nervous manner. Jada readied herself, tossing her braid behind her back and mounting her broom, awaiting the signal from Dido "BEGIN"

Participation in student-run Quidditch games always brought Livia a fine sense of exhilaration. She remained well aware that her family would say these games were hardly impactful – no, they were not official, and, thus, they did not achieve the proper prominence that a young heir might. Livia, however, thought she could make herself useful in other ways. These games often helped her refine her strategic prowess; each often included modified rules or challenges to which she needed to react.
This game, for example, only included five individuals on either side. This proposed unique challenges, such as a lack of second-string students to take the places of those unfortunately made unconscious. All strategies would need to utilise the players to their full extent; there would be no room for failure. This meant Livia arrived at the Quidditch training pitch almost even more alert than usual. She had read a Quidditch playbook before bed, but she doubted it would be of any use, as the strategies involved there were largely for teams down a Seeker, which was not exactly the predicament in which her team was beginning.
Upon arriving at the pitch, Livia would first survey both her allies and opponents with a watchful gaze. Some of the faces were quite familiar; others, she had not had the pleasure (or displeasure) of viewing more often than in class. Some – such as the large oaf who, unfortunately, employed the use of more space than necessary within the pitch – she wished she had not been hapless enough to encounter. She would nod in polite recognition of @Cecilia Merrick and @Dahlia Lee.
Livia had left her dormitory wearing lightweight clothing in preparation for the game – and weather – ahead. The loose sleeves of her olive green shirt ended halfway between her shoulder and her elbow, and her brown trousers, though able to flow, were not so large as to restrict her aerodynamics. The sturdy weight of a Silver Arrow graced her right hand. She would stand, posture rigid and gaze sharp, observing the motions of the other team’s members as everyone began to enter the pitch. Regarding her own team, Livia would nod at each of them, too. She was not one for what was often referred to as ‘pep talks’. Nonetheless, while absentmindedly running her thumb over the polished shaft of her broom, she would utter, ‘We are to perform at our best today.’
Whether they would listen would remain to be witnessed.
Livia was not certain what to make of the event’s organiser. A girl with dark hair and an altogether pusillanimous demeanour, she, nonetheless, possessed an intriguing quality within her words. Livia did not outwardly react at the mention of death, but she did not consider it to be a dismissible notion, considering the rather unwelcome presence of Remy among the opposition. With any favour of fortune, though, Dido’s words would come to prophetic fruition.

Fear is temporary, regret is forever
Ophelia wasn't very confident in her flying skills, that was the reason why she had seeked help to improve her flying. Now, though, having reluctantly, after thinking about it for a long time, signed up for an unofficial Quidditch match, all the nervousness she'd felt the whole month about flying at vanished. Today she felt... confident?
She could feel how the moderator, Dido, seemed to be nervous. Was not even an option? She'd probably die mentally during the match, that is. If she isn't nervous now, she would definitely start panicking once she was on her broom, flying and using her bat, as the beater. She did prefer the role as the beater, perhaps because she thought she was strong enough, and accurate. She hoped to be both, at least. She didn't want her nervousness during the match to affect her strength and accuracy. And she didn't want to accidentally injure anyone badly.
She sighed as she looked over at the other team. Their beater was a half-giant, Remy Break. Ophelia visibly shivered at the thought of him using his abilities and, of course, being stronger than she was. No. No negative thoughts. She was ready and sure that they were going to do their best. All of them. She trusted the team, and she trusted herself. Plus, this was an unofficial match; nothing terrible would happen. Right?

The morning was pleasant, to Amethyst's pleasure.
Everything seems to be a hotchpotch now that it was about time for her second year of Hogwarts to end. She still sucked at Potions and needed to do something about it urgently.
But she couldn't bother now, for there were better activities to partake in. She mentally shoved her need to improve potions into a mental 'to-do later' list.
Quidditch, something she loved, and yet she had not flown properly in months.
As the heiress to a well-established broom business, it was almost embarrassing how it was more than a year since she had even touched a broom. She had not raced, even with her father, despite that being her favourite activity.
But when she saw a poster about an unofficial Quidditch match, she could not help but sign up for it, eager to find her love for the game and perhaps herself back.
Amethyst had dressed herself into something comfortable to fly in, along with gloves for a better grip.
Being a seeker was a responsibility for her, to carry her father's legacy. This was indeed an unofficial match, but Amethyst had decided that if she won, she would apply for the house team.
Amethyst had jogged towards the ground, straight from her dorm, with a Moontrimmer in hand, something she had borrowed from a senior, as her own broom was gathering dust back in her mansion and probably judging her neglect.
As she reached the bleachers, she heard Dido, the match's moderator speaking, rather nervously. Amethyst looked around to find her own teammates. Denise, Livia and Olivia had already arrived and Sabrina was left. She did not really know them, but they seemed to be nice enough to play the game with. Amethyst offered them a small smile in greeting.
Across the pitch stood a half-giant, likely on the other team, who looked permanently prepared to start a commotion. Amethyst slightly grimaced at his language, despite trying not to.
Finally, she made her way onto the field, mounting her broom for some warm-up.
After all, it was just an unofficial Quidditch game.
She could perhaps get hospitalised or, worse, lose the match.

Although her body still ached from yesterday's broom race, Sabrina jogged onto the scene with a wide smile.
Upon catching her eye, she noticed that their referee, a dark haired young girl, was grinning at her. The raven returned the expression, pondering where she's seen the familiar girl before. Her smile soon fell, replaced with a grimace: a physical response to the crippling level of relatability she felt for their struggling referee. Who she felt no sympathy for, however, was the huge prick (@Remy Break), yelling out every thought he had. He recieved a stern glare from her, while she went to give the familiar brunette an encouraging pat on her shoulder.
'Don't worry about him. He's just being loud and dumb. Noone's dying or even coming close to it today, promise,' she reassured her, even whilst knowing and anticipating the violance tied with this particular sport.
Without fully realising it, Sabrina began to expect the presence of one slytherin girl (@Cecilia Merrick) everytime she visited the training pitch, no longer just noticing but actively searching for her.
'Fancy meeting you here,' she addressed said red-head, speaking to her for what felt like the first time, although it very well might have not been. Thinking of it, was she even justified in the familiarity she approached the girl with? At this point, after dancing in each others orbits for so long, who knew, really, 'Selfishly, I won't wish you good luck, since I want us to win. But I still hope you have fun,' she offered a handshake, if accepted, followed by a fist bump. For the first time, she'd be in the role of a chaser, meaning she'll be a direct opponent to her fox acquintance. With a quick salute, she mounted on her broom, flying up to her position, ready for the signal. It came in a form of one shouted word, no count down, no distractions: BEGIN!

Dahlia had not managed to get it together about Quidditch in her first year. Her father had taken her along to a Quidditch match before school started which was, in all honesty, was the first time she had thought about the sport in months. The match had been better than how she remembered watching the sport, perhaps because, at eleven years old, Dahlia possessed the skill of sitting still and remaining attentive for the greater part of an hour. (She was still working on the whole hour.)
She had considered trying out for seeker of the Gryffindor Quidditch team but had been disappointed to learn better players already held the position. It was for the better. Dahlia could fly decently for a first year— she was not afraid of heights and her limbs, although long, generally went where she told them to— but, much to her chagrin, her performance did not live up to her standards. Hence, she avoided Quidditch entirely until the very end of term. Dahlia would have waited longer if it had not been for the poster
The poster was small, yes, but caught Dahlia's eye advertising a Quidditch match but not one for team members. This was open to any interested party including herself even for the coveted seeker position. (Dahlia refused to play any other. Seekers were the most valuable in terms of points and, therefore, the most important. Dahlia would not be a side character.)
Hence, by means of this advertisement, she found herself standing in a crowd of nine other students and one girl who appeared to be "in control" of the operation. The control, evidently, was limited given her demeanor. She did not look like she could control more than a single library book. This, in turn, meant the match would be chaos. Excellent. Quidditch had too many rules as it was. The Gryffindor thrived in chaos.
Dahlia cast a malevolent glance at @Remy Break. She had been having a good day before remembering she was supposed to work with that oaf. It was only this fact that they were temporary (key word) teammates that gave the boy immunity from Dahlia's usual snark.
Her focus shifted instead to Dido's barrage of awkward commentary as she listened for instructions. She summoned her broom and attained her starting position before calling down. "Don't worry! I never die." The Gryffindor's broom wavered slightly as she laughed. It was clear she was a first year and a beginner but she would show them.
"READY!" Dahlia's eyes narrowed, smirk plastered on her face as she took off in search of the snitch.
