I find peace in The Stars Above.
The stars above, aligned with the moon
Half, quarter, and full too.
They're just there, no questions asked,
No need to, they just do their tasks.
So why are we for being different?

Is it a must?
All because we aren't the same?
Because we don't share a brain?
Like if they don't, they'd go insane.
Lanterns for hearts, lit from the start

(Heavy bassline and muted guitar)
Looking at the bruised sky, waiting for the flood
I’ve been walking on this dirt road, walking in the mud
My throat is like a desert, my lips are cracked and dry
I stare up at the heavens, begging for a sign.
The storm clouds gather heavy, the thunder starts to roll
But it’s bringing more than water to my desperate soul!
Pre-Chorus - Rock
(Guitars jump in with distortion and rl tense)
The first drop hits the pavement, a shock to the bone
I’m standing in the deluge, but I’m still on my own
I open up my mouth and I drink it all in
But the water makes the madness and the hunger begin!
Chorus - Rock
(Explosive, anthemic chorus)
Pour it down, wash it away!
But the water doesn't wash the need away!
Every drop makes my thirst increase!
Can't get enough, I will never find peace! (Yeah, the thirst keeps rising!)

Look-Standing in the tempest, watching lightning crash

I’m screaming to the sky but I’m screaming out aloud
