Not even kidding I had like 40 active RPs at one time during Av’s first year. lol my goal every school year is to go up 6000 posts on Av and I’ve almost hit that. (Goal is 12000 before July 1)

I guess for me the "secret" is focusing on rl when I need to and on what's important to me (which can include here) but keeping my ties here and continuing to come back - also loving my characters and having multiple of them so I can focus on one over the other if my motivation temporarily decreases for a particular character, and forming OOC bonds with people I'm excited to talk to and plot with
