Marriage? Moving away? She had never really thought about finding someone suitable for a relationship with her, let alone be in love. She kind of distanced herself away from those sorts of things, mainly because she'd feel bad for whoever got stuck with her bratty mess. Though the way Gem made it sound, it almost seemed pleasant.꧁༒• interactions: @Gem Stuart •༒꧂
"Someone you love, huh? Could that girl maybe be me? She said with a smirk, flirting sarcastically yet unsure if Gem would take it the wrong way; how embarrassing that would be. She decided to abandon the thought and change subject. Fortunately he did it for her, in a way that made her smile.
"Yeah, thank god for that. I am one of the coolest people here, y'know." She replied jokingly, her eyes slowly drifting back to the fire. Then- as if a light bulb had went off in her head, she picked up the box of treats she had been sent and rummaged through it. As she set the package back down, she had a pack of marshmallows and chocolate in her hand. Afterwards she unzipped her teddy bear bag and pulled out a box of graham crackers. She almost always had them with her, sort of like a comfort food.
She hadn't a clue whether Gem liked smores or not, but figured it was worth a shot at offering some to him. "We'd have to use a stick or something to roast 'em, dunno if you care about germs or not."

Gem raised an eyebrow at her, feeling his cheeks get a bit warm, though it was subtle enough not to quite notice. He pretended like he didn't hear her - he'd bring it up some other time.
"The two coolest people in Hogwarts found each other, aye? Everyone better be careful, we might end up runnin' everfin'." He snickered, peeking over at her bag, all the assortments of stuff... he'd heard of that snack before, s'mores, though he'd never had any himself. He knew they were popular in America, but he only knew that because his dad always spoke about the... American endeavors he'd indulged in when over there for tour. "I fink I used to be one of the kids who ate dirt cos it was a delicacy at age seven, I can handle a few germs." He looked around, grabbing himself a fairly crooked stick with a pointy end.
He took one of the marshmallows, sticking it on the end of his branch, holding it over the fire, rotating it patiently. He was quiet again, for the most part, but he'd figured a response out for her little flirt comment that he'd lost the opportunity to respond to. Well, if he responded now, would that be so bad? They'd already sort of figured out how their dynamic was strange, why not make it even more strange.
"Oh, and about yer comment on bein' the girl I fall in love wiv and run away with... yeah, I think so. I fink maybe the two coolest people in school should end up together, huh? Burn everythin' to the ground, even if it's... marshmallows."
What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though.

Lana frowned when there was no reaction to her flirt, mainly because she thought he had made him uncomfortable. Either that or it wasn't as funny as she had thought it had been in her head.꧁༒• interactions: @Gem Stuart •༒꧂
"We could start an anarchy." She said casually, as if it would be the easiest thing in the world. While her mind was on it, she did picture what it would be like to run the school though. She didn't think it would be that fun, because too much attention could get boring. She knew that from first-hand experience; as being the only child with an over dramatic mother wasn't the most pleasant of things.
She smiled when he agreed to making s'mores with her, like he had just accepted her peace offering. She picked up a stick from behind her and shook some dirt off of it, sliding the marshmallow onto it smoothly. She had no idea what would happen if they got caught, especially considering this was quite the fire hazard.
Lana remembered setting things on fire with her friend Jax back at home, even though she'd never tell her mother they did. Jax was a muggle that lived near Lana's home in Carmarthen. He was quite the trouble maker, and honesty was who got Lana into finding herself. Her heart ached whenever the thought of him was brought up, so she decided to focus on Gem again.
His reply caught her quite off guard, almost causing her to drop the entire stick into the fire. She could hardly tell if it was a joke or not, and now came to understand how others felt when she did the same thing to them.
She batted her eyelashes dramatically. "Oh Gem, you make me blush." She said with a sigh, placing the back of her hand to her forehead as if to faint.
