The Bludger Closed

Nell walked out onto what she thought was an empty field. She hadn’t heard much about quidditch, and didn’t know there were quidditch players soaring above her.

And then it hit her. Literally. A bludger smacked her in the back of her head. The last thing she remembered was falling to the round, and her vision going black.

When Nell woke up, a group of players in the Ravenclaw colors stood around her, a worried look on their faces.

Nell rubbed her head where the bludger hit her. She stood up awkwardly in front of everyone.

“Sorry about the, er, disturbance. I didn’t know this was a, um, quidditch field. I won’t bother you again,” she said, hand still where the bludger hit her.

She walked away, head pounding in pain. Nell walked up to the stands to watch the rest of the practice.

When the practice finished, she began walking towards the dorms. She thought about going to get ice or something, but she decided not to in the end.

She lay on her bed, head still pounding and closed her eyes. Before she fell asleep, she heard the door open. She sat up to see it was one of the quidditch players.
