Piérre Marchonné was covered in sickness, as was the pretty goth girl. Admittedly, the soupy mixture did neither of them any favors. One would think the offensive liquid would have been enough to deter Galton, the boy Hess had nearly saved.
"'LL CROWN MY BELOVED TODAY AND I WILL LICK WHATEVER I NEED TO DO SO!"
The sugar-fiend roared. The suddenness of his returning vigor has alarmed the Gryffindor and seemingly empowered the hyperactive boy. He had already broke free and barreled towards the goth chick (Xailah). Of course Hess would not able to react, only retaliate.
Jürgen would try to tackle him. Save the gooey damsel from greater harm.
Hess would barely grab hold of Galton's leg. He would try to wrap his arms around the boy and hold him tight. "Stop man, you dunno what you're doing!" His dormmate cried, hoping that he could put some sense in the mad king's head. Alas, he was too far gone.Jürgen 7 (+10)

Whilst faster and stronger than Galton, whatever fueled his madness also gave him inhuman strength (or luck) as he overpowered Hess and slipped through his grasping fingers. "No!"Jürgen 10 (+4)

Galton would find his ginger person with great lollipop antlers and attempt to climb the girl still covered in ick.
But the girl was too slippery. Galton would try to climb her, perhaps even man-handle her. Extend his short tongue and attempt to taste her saccharine horn. (I swear this is PG T_T) Galton would never taste the slimy horns, which was perhaps for the best considering what the girl's crown has been most recently assailed with.Galton 7
Xailah 18
"Flipendo!"
Pericles' wand was aimed at the wild child and with flourish, the cleanest boy in the room would defend the Gryffindor metamorphmagus.
Galton, with messy hands from trying to have his way with Xailah was launched across the room. A horrible slug-like trail of vomit behind him, what had splashed upon the boy, now trailed across the floor. he would crash into a garbage pail that would knock over with a loud clatter. The contents would fall out, mostly used hand towels, a few filthy linen items that could not be reasonably used in the foreseeable future. Some broken bottles of used potions, an array of discarded corks and some wrappers.Pericles 10

They were making a mistake attacking the Auror. The nurse, presuming he was innocent in whatever was happening between them had cast away his wand or at the very least a wand. For the few students that had seen the young male nurse cast a healing charm, he used that wand. But that wand was not his if what he said had any truth and he had cast it away.
Fin Van Cleaf
A wand that allowed itself be be wielded by another, how queer.
He was being arrested, but he seemed to be willing to go quietly. "You're never going to get far," Fin warned with a pair of raised hands. His voice was shaking. "Just don't do something you might regret..." He eyed the students there. A pair of them fought over the wand, it was obvious now that they knew what it was. You don't fight over a randomly discarded wand. "Kid's aint that stupid," he exhaled. "Just end this, I aint fighting." His accent dropped as he kept on talking. Sounded more American. "Nobody else needs t'get messed up in this."
Piérre should not have brought more attention to himself. To them as he begged for answers.
"Don't--" there was a halting tone in that command. "Leave it be Jolon," that was not the boy's name. Had the nurse grown forgetful in these past few moments?
"Serpensortia!"
Xailah tried to summon a serpent.
She had the power to summon the snake, however the power to successfully assail the Auror. Her attack was true, but she was no match for the Auror. Not as a mere child. The serpent would coil on the ground as bare it's fangs. The girl made the first assault, one of the other kids would make the second.Wisdom Check 18 (successful cast)
Xailah 17

"Incendio"
Atlas also intended to assail the Auror. Don't like someone -- immolate them. An illogical, dangerous conclusion for one to come to, but apparently the one that she had decided upon. Not that Xailah was much better. That is something that would be hard to explain even if there was demonstrable proof of malevolent intentions.
"Don't!" The nurse tried to warn, but it was too late. The damage done, the words unheeded. The Auror had stood still (critically failed) and his pant leg caught fire. Stable... Unstable. Good... Evil. It did not matter, because they attacked first and now it was self-defense. Now it was a crime. People forget the consequence of casual assault.Wisdom Check 18

"Aguamenti."
Fin announced, his hands still up in a passive manner. No wand in hand. water sprayed from the palm of his right hand. "Kid didn't mean it," he tried to reason.

Did they think that any of this was a good idea? They could not have possibly thought such but children rarely think things through.
August VanCleaf
August's patience was wearing thinner by the second. His idiot brother throwing away that wand in the midst of a tantrum. The children fighting over something that was obviously not theirs. Another rampaging about, trying to lick the others, the least threatening thing in the room sadly. Then turning on him with their elementary magic. Why? Because he was carting off a nurse they hardly new. He was a glorified lamppost at best. An accessory that had a name. If he had a flavor it would be "low-calorie vanilla."
Then came the snakes and fire. The snakes would never touch him, but he faltered dealing with his fool of a brother. His pant leg ignited.
"Accio Potter's Wand," the verification that some of the children were looking for.
With this confirmation came a terrible truth. Those children were not going to be leaving here with that length of wood. Piérre's request for answers would go unheeded. The nurse, a pitiful reflection of himself. "You never did have the temperament for such things did you," he shook his head as he said that. The fire, as brief as it was scalded his flesh but would do little to ultimately impair him.
"We will be going now, in good health or otherwise. Wand please." There was a calm to him that was more disconcerting than a rage. "The Ministry will find this quite curious."

At the first bolt of alarm, Pericles' already uneasy stomach started to churn with stress. Now adrenaline was coursing through his veins, numbing his nausea to nothingness, actions determined largely by instinct. He had witnessed the animalistic showdown; @Xailah Alptraum's capacity to don a bestial appearance was as clear as the yellow of her eyes, something which he could have anticipated, though it was @Piérre Marchonné's intense quadrupedal stance that came as a complete surprise. Fortunately, that squabble was over before it began. Unfortunately, @Galton Lansdale's deranged howling was impossible to ignore. He'd heard the Gryffindor barking [mad] about consuming and crowns, witnessed the raw insanity that was dumping vomit on Xailah and Pierre. He wasn't about to take any chances when the cursed kid leapt at the metamorph. Aspen flicked out in an instant, whipping a precise shape, incantation barked without hesitation.Interacting with everyone.
Had this attempted slobbering really warranted a Knockback Jinx? All Pericles knew for certain was he had been screeching about feasting, poured puke on his peers, and tried to put his mouth on his friend. Yes, a hasty deduction assured... that was reason enough. But beneath the buzz of fight or flight was pity- he felt poorly for the boy (@Jürgen Hess) who sounded as though he was simply trying to get his friend under control. He would apologize later, bring Galton a tart from the kitchen. One without curses. Assuming, that is, that they all made it out of this room in one piece.
Pericles promptly rolled over the top of his bed, boots landing on the opposite side's floor, swift maneuver bringing him to his bag. He snatched it from the bedside table to pull the strap over his head. The young wizard was obsessive over securing the books inside- a Ravenclaw thing, no doubt. In his hurry, he did not see the start of spells, but turned to find Xailah had cast a serpent at the auror while another unfamiliar girl (@Atlas Reid) sent a gout of flames for the grown man's trousers. The boy blurted "Let them leave!", stretch of silence shattered. He had already accepted that a gaggle of low-grade students were no match for a warlock trained to track and battle with many a dark wizard at once. If they kept quiet, he'd hoped both VanCleaf brothers would simply see themselves out. @Finlay VanCleaf had very possibly framed Harry Potter, and Pericles wasn't entirely intent on rescuing the nurse. But then, he was also certain he had seen the name @August Vancleaf elsewhere....
He wanted that wand. It had been Potter's wand after all, and if Finlay was using it, if the wand was obeying him, surely it meant that the... American?... nurse must have defeated or disarmed its previous owner. His facade was dropping, he was under arrest, and yet- most strange of all- Finlay was defending them? Did the nurse truly care about the survival of the students? Or did he speak out of guilt?
It was too much for an eleven-year-old to interpret on the spot. The youngest Dralt was experiencing a rush of thrill so incredibly intense, his chest would have ached with the pounding of his pulse were it not for that adrenaline boost. He'd heard it clear as day: Accio Potter's wand. As soon as that elation hit him, August insisted upon taking their evidence, their piece of this puzzle, the darkling girl's prize. He wanted that wand with her. "Xailah," Peri blurted, trying to get her attention. Unless the rage had her wholly under its influence, he'd jerk his head towards the door, beckoning her to snag Schrödinger and hopefully hold onto that wand. Poor Galton aside, he had tried to keep his spells to himself. Now the lad whipped his wand in a tight spiral, incanted "Fumos!", and prayed a smokescreen would spill towards the adults he aimed at. Perhaps he wanted the other students to stop spelling the VanCleaf duo long enough for them to go away, or perhaps it was the inverse: a desperate attempt at providing his peers a means of escape, assuming they could beeline for the door unobstructed. Perhaps both.
Action: attempting to create cover for escape by casting the Smokescreen Spell.

What else had Piérre expected but to be ignored. He was the clown, the small, unimportant boy, the imp, and certainly not anywhere as intimidating as an older year. Even if Piérre had been older, he certainly would not have been intimidating, even if he tried his very darndest. As the flames began to lick and Xailah's smoky snake appeared and then dissolved with a flick of the nurse's hand. Wordless magic. Green eyes pierced into blue for a long time, as if attempting to see the man's thoughts. Wordless magic was advanced, yet not unusual... but the control...
If the nurse was capable of wordless magic, what else was he capable of? And why did he have Potter's wand? Already, the Auror was calling his brother aside, telling him to be silent and prevent the children in his presence being harmed.
More than a few things were not pleasantly lining up, and Piérre was starting to get the feeling that Galton, the Candy King was becoming the least of Piérre's concerns. Indeed, he had been fortunate that Galton had not charged him but Xailah and her spiraling horns, which while beautiful and beautifully usable for defense and protection seemed a bit dangerous; especially if she felt the reason for creating those horns was for purely defense. Still, now at least Piérre understood why Xailah's physical features seemed to shift and morph so elegantly. She was a Metamorph!
And she had Potter's wand.
Somehow, Piérre felt that Xailah would be loathe to part with the wand... wherever she had put it (for Piérre had the decency and the good fortune to have looked away when Xailah had placed it down her shirt), and so Piérre had no fear that Xailah would give it up to someone without some sort of beneficial trade. However, it was the fact that neither of the people who seemed to know anything about what was going on that made Piérre a little more than frustrated, especially as he sat in vomit and sick.
When an incantation from Peri reached Piérre's ears, and incantation of Fumos was spoken, Piérre's ears piqued with interest and a new thought sparked.
If he couldn't ask nicely for a person to tell him what was going on, may as well turn to subterfuge. When clouds began to fill the room, Piérre would be ready. Even if the cloud wouldn't come to fruition, Piérre was ready to act, especially with the uncommon chaos. Glancing to his own bed, Piérre pursed his lips, wiping away what remained of the vomit across his face before utilizing the slime on the rest of his clothes to slide across the floor like a disgusting penguin.
Catching himself on the bedframe, Piérre readjusted himself so that he lay perpendicular to the bed and its mattress. From that vantage, he couldn't really see faces well, but he would be able to clearly hear and watch as people moved about the room, connecting the voices to the shoes that the twins wore. Eager green eyes flicked across the room. He glimpsed at Xailah, for a moment, almost willing her to make a break for it, but then quickly averted his eyes, willing himself to blend into the floor and the shadow underneath the cot. Piérre still had work to do. He needed to find out what was going on.

It didn't take long for everything to go to hell in a handbasket. Xailah would learn a few new things today: nurses with Auror brothers were not to be trusted- and vice versa, kids are gross, and the Snake Summoning charm would really only make for a good party trick. A serpent, adorned in sleek black scales, left the tip of the casters Chestnut wand. The Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, had failed to inform the students that the spell was useless, more or less. Seeing that the snake would then coil around itself upon being summoned, the lioness knew that she had only wasted her time. She should have tried to make a break for it, while the adults were still bickering.
Another child, a small Hufflepuff girl this time- would fire another spell. Had the badger been there this whole time? She must have been one of the voices that the lioness had heard earlier, before the grown men started arguing, and all hell- Galton, broke loose. Galton. King Galton was a slippery thing. Or maybe the dark-haired boy, Jürgen, simply lacked the upper-body strength to maintain a grip on his small, sugar-crazed friend. That was the more likely answer, seeing that the diameter of the lads arms, were about the size of limp spaghetti noodles- not that that was a bad thing, but it wasn't particularly impressive. His knightly efforts to hold his companion back would not go unnoticed- well actually, they would go unnoticed by Xailah. But there were probably plenty of other girls in the room, that swooned at the sight of a scrawny boy, running over to manhandle the Candy King. But the enraged metamorph would not be one of them.
"GET OFF ME YOU INSOLENT TART!" Her bellowed command would be touched with a strange mix of rage, and fear; as she wiggled out of the childs grasp- she did not wish to face the same fate that befell the Hufflepuff girl, at the Masquerade Ball. She found herself strangely thankful for her new slimy outer-layer; figuring that being coated by a little- okay, a lot of bile was better than being assaulted by some kid. Shaking him off completely, she blindly raised one spidery limb, and got ready to slap him into the next day. Her arm carved through the air in slow motion, but her petite hand would never come in contact with the candy boy. A well-aimed Flipendo, coming from Pericles direction, would send the little heathen flying into a trash bin; releasing its contents.
With the threat of Galton out of the way- for now, she would now be faced with a bigger problem. The Auror. August wanted the wand back. The lioness sent a wild, yellow stare, in the direction of the twin. She remained still- as still as she could be. The imbalanced antlers made her sway slightly, as she sized the Auror up. The man asked for the wand. No. That was her wand now. She took it fair and square. She shook her head hesitantly, her gaze unwavering. She brought her arms up to her chest in a defensive stance, with one hand raised to close off the collar of her robe. Pericles called her name. It pushed away some of the haze inside the Gryffindors head; clearing a narrow path for some semi-logical thoughts. The antlers retracted slowly back into the girls skull a little.
"Indeed they will." Whatever that meant. An inquisitive eyebrow shot up, as her eyes bounced from the Auror, to the door, and then to her cat- who was somehow sleeping through all of this now. She had made her decision. If he wanted that wand back, then fine. But she was not going to make that task an easy one. A well timed- or attempted Fumos from the Ravenclaw in the room, would be Xailahs cue to make a run for it. The lioness made a mad dash towards her cot, tumbling over, and onto the other side, snatching up Schrödinger as she did so. Man, he was heavy. The girl leapt to avoid a slimy Piérre, doing well... whatever slimy Piérre's do- which was slide on the dirty tile, apparently. Nice. She would continue her trek to the door, in hopes that no slime trails or pseudo knights- like Jürgen, were blocking her path. Freedom was so close- yet so far.

Galton had been launched across the room. Pericles' Flipendo Charm was cast true. His Gryffindor friend landed hard and he was not moving. Everything was devolving, Galton's antics were the least of them. Xailah Alptraum and Piérre Marchonné looked like they were a pair of strays fighting over a half-eaten hot dog that they found in a dumpster. Jürgen would rush over to Galton and attempt to shake him awake. What was he thinking! Dammit! It was like babysitting a toddler the size of a teenager dealing with Galton sometimes. "Galton, dude! WAKE UP!" If he yelled louder or he shook harder, maybe Galton would wake up or have some sense knocked into him before they locked him up forever.
Of course other things were happening. This madness went over the teen's head. In a lot of ways, Jürgen was late to the party, not having realized the fact that there was a stand off between the Auror and the nurse as well as between the students and the adults. What the heck had happened? "Guys, chill," the Gryffindor announced these words of wisdom which would likely fall onto deaf ears. There was no chill here, one attacked the Professor. He did not even know who was the right one in all of this, only that they were attacking an auror.
An act he would surely regret later, Jürgen would raise his wand and aim it at Pericles. He would shout his word of power -- "Flipendo!"
Action: Cast Flipendo on Pericles.

The incredibly handsome disappointment to the Head of House of Slytherin made his plea for the students. There was not much he could do to defend them, not when one of them assailed the Auror ineffectively. There was no real risk for the Auror but that would not save them from his wrath, from the fact that an assault was committed against a member of the Ministry. That there were practices and protocols, ways to manage this that they had not simply bypassed or even ignored but headbutted in the face.

No. No. NO! What were they thinking. Run, don't make things worse. As if a simple Fumos spell would force August to disengage. Children hardly ever compliant. Galton, the rapid youth had been launched across the room into waste-bins. A mere Flippendo, the boy would be fine it not a bit dizzied. Compared to the dangerous substance that he had consumed, the risk of the elementary spell was a mere pittance.
August VanCleaf
The room would darken, one of the meddlesome students would cast Fumos. The Smoke Screen spell had only one purpose and it was rather obvious -- to obfuscate their escape. He would hear a few spells being slung, he was not particularly concerned about them even if he was the unwitting target. He had to stop the girl who had foolishly insinuated herself into such matters. He knew her name thanks to the boy -- Xailah, a rather unusual name. She was not going to get far even if she got out of this room.
"Sectumsempra!"
Indeed a curse. Blood was spilled. A spectral sword had sliced through one of the two twins. Knees would crash onto the ground. Gasping. Spurting of blood, a fine mist spray now on the floor. Wandering hands padded the floor, one to brace while the other tried to stymie the bleeding.
Of course the question was, which one of the two was still standing and which one had fallen?
