Date: The first Saturday of the school year
Location: A desk by the library's window
The very first Saturday afternoon of the new semester, Cassie walks into the huge library of Hogwarts with a stack of books under her arm. She stands at the entrance of the library, gazing at the high ceiling and huge windows.

Everything seem so familiar. This used to be her favourite place after class, for it's such a pleasure to enjoy a story when one is tired of studies and wandering around.

Everything seem so strange. It has been a whole year since she last set foot in this room. She missed a year of school due to her father's business issues and her own health issues. Her classmates changed to new faces. Even magic seemed not that easy for her to learn, since she didn't homeschool a lot in the previous year.

And that is the reason why she is here in this lovely afternoon-- She cannot allow herself to not get a perfect score, but she found out that this isn't such an easy task it used to be, so she needs to study for some extra hours to catch up.

Walking into the library, she picks a seat by the window. She lays her books and parchment on the desk. She stares at the desk, not knowing which subject to start with. Seconds later, she pulls out a piece of parchment and dipped her quill in ink.

'Saturday study plan' she writes on the top middle of the parchment. As her quill moves across the parchment again and again, the list grew longer and longer. She needs to preview her textbook, review the things she has learnt in the first two years... it seems like a mission impossible. Finally, she puts down her quill and sighs, gazing at the scenery outside.

Lazy day, lazy day. Weekend was the time when people would enjoy their days lazily. Though it wasn't always the case. Zach skipped from the Common Room to the Library. He had no schedule for her internship in the Hospital Wing. He had free time.

He entered the grand hall of the books. Inside, the students had already filled the Library. Some seemed stressed over their book. Zach knew they were probably a Fifth or Seventh Year student. They always showed the expression when it was near time to do the O.W.L. or N.E.W.T. This reminded Zach that he would need to prepare himself from now on. He had known what subject he needed to excel in to be a healer and had prepared a bit for some subjects that he really liked.

But his visit to the Library wasn't fully for his O.W.L. study.

As usual, he always spared his time to deepen his study in healing magic. He was really serious about it. He started to do it in his second year. And his results in skill and knowledge didn't betray his effort.

He went to the shelf he had visited last week, hoping the book wasn't occupied. And he was lucky. The book was still sitting in the shelf, all pretty.

He took the book and walked away to look for a seat. He kept walking until he found an empty seat. And once her pulled the chair, he noticed a familiar figure sitting next to him. The boy stopped for a second.

Cassie Jiang. Zach knew her.

It was a pretty long time for him to see her. He didn't know what happened to her. She just vanished one day.

"Cassie," Zach greeted. He hadn't sat yet. His eyes looked at the book on her desk, curious on what she was learning. "A lot of books there. What are you doing?" Zach tilted his head.

Then he sat and put his book on his desk.
