"Scourgify!" she said trying to clean the grounds from infestations. Honestly she did not know if it would work but it's better than nothing. Another person seemed to have noticed her. Turning her head she had her eyes set on another boy. Light and warm his features resemble a wind chime. She smiled and hummed.
"Oh, yes yeah let's give it our all..?" her statement was light hearted she did not want to be here anymore if only she did not get persuaded easily from Cecilia
"So. What happened that made you go here?" she asked whilst she was with her own hands cutting down the overgrown grass. Inefficient for her but it will do for what she has to work with right now.
Her raven hair and auburn eyes flickered into the beckoning sun. These ten hours were she hoped to be chill and nothing more than tedious. The only grievance she had with this was having to do the work so she can get out. She wanted out. Pausing for a moment she did wonder why so early. Shaking her head she reminded herself to not get distracted. The benefit she did reap was not being alone. Angel was not the only one doing her time. Made a decision to not talk so much, but in this case being open minded was key. Everyone here is on edge probably. Being calm and reserved as ever still unbothered or is she?
Seconds felt like minutes, minutes felt like hours, and hours felt like months, months felt like years. Metaphorically speaking this whole ordeal felt vast and long. In a bad way. Already she felt a bit restless but she hold her rattled hands and held a tight grip.
"Get ahold of yourself." she said with a snarl and bitter tone to herself
"Note to self, do not lose your wits."
Action: Cleaning the grounds by hand and using Scourgify.

𝓦hile Leo had made his way from his last class of the day and back to his dorm room, he had been struck by this sudden overwhelming feeling of sneezing. Over and over he sneezed and at the same time heard someone laughing in the distance. He had never even seen them before. What was the reason to be messing around casting spells on random students as they walked by. When he caught a break from sneezing he shot the spell back at them so they could endure the same suffering he did. Unfortunately for him, he was caught and while the other student got away with it, he was forced into child labor.
Being forced out of bed before the sun even rose seemed like a crime, and on what was supposed to be a lovely Saturday. Leo understood they were to be outside today for detention so he threw on a grey t-shirt, a pair of older jeans and some sneakers before making his way outside. Walking up to the area, still half asleep, he yawned as he looked around. Why were there so many students in detention today? Did the whole school decide to simultaneously rebel and break the rules? Students from all different houses and years had been forced into Headmaster Lear’s detention clean up. While the man himself was lounging around in vacation wear as if he was heading to the beach instead of watching students during detention.
More so, Leo worried that his parents would find out that he had gotten himself into trouble. If the school let them know what happened he would surely be expecting an angry owl delivery soon and a long lecture from his father when he got home at the end of the term. He was sure his father would drone on and on about how his actions reflect on his father, the family, the company, blah blah blah. He just hoped he wouldn’t be punished more after dealing with this torture of cleaning the grounds for hours upon hours. To make matters worse even, it seemed as though the weather would not hold up either with clouds hanging over them and the sound of distant thunder.
As he worked out in his head how he would try to appease his parents and get them to believe it wasn’t his fault, he saw a familiar red head across the field. A small smile appeared on his face as he was not entirely shocked to spot Cece here, what with her inept ability at trouble making and mischief. But he was a little shocked at the same time since she had been appointed a prefect now and was supposed to be upholding the rules, not breaking them. At her beckoning, Leo walked from his spot towards her and chuckled. “Yeah obviously, I thought I would enjoy the morning air. What about you though Ms. Prefect?” He jokingly retorted to her and shook his head as he moved closer to her but was stopped when he noticed in the near distance another familiar face. One that he would never expect to be anywhere near detention. “Rosaline?” He said softly to himself. Why would she be in detention? She was hardly the type to get into trouble. Something had to be really wrong if she was here.
Just as he was about to go over towards Rosaline to ask what happened, he heard the annoyingly familiar voice of the pest, Erast. Of course Erast had to show up here as well, so much for the hopes of a peaceful detention. Erast greeted Cece with an elbow to the girl’s side before calling out to Rosaline himself before Leo could. 6am and Leo was already beyond annoyed just with Erast’s mere presence looming over him. Erast turned to Leo to greet him with a smile. Leo refused to return the greeting or smile and simply stood there glaring at him for a moment before turning his gaze back to Rosa. Lear had mentioned partnering up with other students so maybe he could work with her and the other students that began to appear around her.
But of course, being the pest that he was, Erast stopped Leo dead in his tracks with a pair of gloves being thrown at him. Was he really expecting Leo to just go along with working together with him? The misfortune of already having to serve detention coupled up with torture of being paired with Erast was something Leo knew he wouldn’t survive, but with everyone else already pairing up he ultimately had no choice. The frustration inside him grew to the point his eyes turned a fiery red as he pulled on the gloves over his hands. He tried his best to calm himself as he turned his attention to the matters at hand, detention, and began picking up some debris.

What was going on with her? Linda didn't know anymore. By some reason she ended up with her very first detention. Selling exam answers d20: 18 which she was surprised about. As far as she was aware, she didn't do it. However, she wasn't certain in anything these days.
The hardest thing about this detention was also that Headmaster himself was overlooking it. Now, that was a problem. She'd spent her years without getting into troubles, following rules and avoiding detentions. But the very first one had to be with him. She was disappointed as she was guessing that now he would think that everyone here were certainly troublemakers.
She sighed. Noticing a couple of familiar faces, Linda decided to stay alone. She didn't have any problem with waking up so early. Little camping experience prior to Hogwarts was helping. However, this day was apparently going to be long.
She glanced at Headmaster. He didn't look like he was planning to spend this day looking after so many students. But all this didn't matter now. They were not too far from the trees. And Linda decided to stay away from them as far as possible. Surprisingly, even with him nearby, she didn't feel safe enough. More so because she didn't know why he was the one looking after them today. It also seemed like not everyone was here for the same reason, as she overheard some students sharing what they allegedly did.
It was unusual and the weather was far from calm and good. She sighed. It was time to start cleaning. It was better than trying to think of things she didn't know. Continuing her work, for a second she got distracted. There was knocking, just twice, but she thought she heard it. Looking around she didn't find anything and Headmaster didn't seem concerned. Maybe she just imagined it? With a heavy sigh she returned back to work. She didn't have time to think about this. Especially not when she didn't have any idea if it was real or not.

Reducio Speech OOC note: permission to godmod Max was granted by his writer. |
She did not forge anything! Harumi is not that kind of a person, does she always follow the rules? Not really, Harumi bets none of the other students does too. However, she won't go against the rules so blatantly! Forging slips? That is too obvious for Harumi! She might sneak into the forbidden forest, brew potions in an empty class after curfew, skip a class, etc, all are things she knows she can get away with easily if she's quiet enough, not that she did all or any of that.
----However, forging permission slips is quite obvious, because she will probably need to copy someone's signature and even if she did it seamlessly, it takes one chat with the person in question to expose her, and the Hufflepuff is smart enough to only take calculated risks, not doing random things on a whim.
----Why is she here then? Because her awesome friend, who didn't seem to care about rules even after becoming a prefect had to pull her into this. She was unknowingly delivering something for him, the forged slip, he did seem suspicious when he asked her, but as the hufflepuff she was, she went ahead and helped him anyways, he might be a troublemaker, but he's her friend first and foremost.
----The person she delivered the paper to asked her about the price, Harumi didn't hear anything about prices, or did she? She might have been zoned out while Max was explaining what she was supposed to do, so she ends up chatting with the person trying to deduce what exactly is that paper, and at some point she realised it was a fake permission slip, Harumi didn't know what's the price of those things, why would she! And while she was planning how to escape the situation, they were caught, simple as that. She really wanted to snitch on Max, but she decided against it not wanting to ruin his image as a prefect.
----So this morning during the Quidditch team assembly, Harumi had planned to excuse herself and leave the rest to Mamori, he was more experienced anyway, but it seemed the latter had the same thoughts, apparently he too had detention. So the team was left to fend for themselves with both captains gone, they're such an awesome role models as captains.
----The headmaster started explaining alot of things, they needed to cleanup, easy enough. When he threatened that those who attempt to sneak into the forest will clean the owlery, Harumi was much more tempted to try and sneak into the forest, after all, she had helped clean the owlery a few months ago, she doesn't mind doing it again if it meant exploring the forest, though the idea of picking up dead mice again wasn't very fun.
----Harumi wore the gloves given to her while watching where the headmaster was going, if he's far enough maybe she'll slip into the forest. The idea of sneaking into the forest was gone from the girl's mind by the time she saw the headmaster sit down while drinking, whatever that liquid was, from a pineapple that had a paper umbrella! Not because she was scared she would get caught, no, more because she was very baffled, he was watching them as if they're a reality show!
----Harumi waved back at Mamori before collecting herself and looking at the grounds behind her, it was about time she got to work and found someone to work with. She saw a familiar girl standing alone so she approached her hoping they could pair up. "Hey, Laasya! Would you like to pair up with me?" Harumi asked as she waved while approaching the Gryffindor.

Perhaps one thing she can give props to for Cecilia was her cherry nature. Staying bright and smiles was the best both could do. Overhearing Cecilia's responses to her earlier statements. Media training, well more like personas. Sometimes it's best to be making a good impression. But being honest too was a plus as well. Sitting down more to rest her knees she looked around.
"Yeah you got that right. Everyone might as well be here." she replied with her voice trailing off
It seems one of her remarks got to her. Sighing for a bit she was clear headed again, much grounded. She was not so bad but she would not be too lenient or passive. Who knows what will await them in the next coming hours? Clearing her throat she did want to clear the air. No malice or anything of the like, she in full honestly wants to get through the saturday without any quarrels.
"I guess we can." she says with a more softer tone
Cecilia also seemed to had the same feeling of malaise. Her background in being outdoors taught her one thing. Silence often means run. Anything like predators or weird creatures might be near. Although she was not the type to be so picky or nitpicking she hoped anyone who would be with her will have a sense of survival skills. Which lead her to follow up another question.
"So, do you also know the outdoors? Back in Caerphilly I used to tend my own gardens. I'm in a family full of chefs so we make our own ingredients!" she said with enthusiasm
"Sometimes I'd be sketching, sitting on tree branches on days like this." she added with reminiscence
Oh just great, she was already having problems with others. Rolling her eyes, Cecilia was trying to reassure her that everything was fine. Angel could say that was definitely not the case. They seem to have known each other, but she could only nod. Despite everything she did remember her asking if she had any fun.
"I had fun, but I'm not so sure why you tried to even forge a slip for something small like chocolate. With you not being very open or honest what we were really in for, I'm only disappointed. Seeking thrill should not be at the expense of others. Even I, as someone who's curious and seeks adventure would know that." she said
Well Cecilia had already found another person. Ms.Winfield? That was her name, Hm intriguing. Maybe she'll be with us from now on. That was fine with her. But what could she be here for? Whatever it was it certainly put her here. Standing up, she brushed off the dirt. Her floral top with her jeans and golden earrings shining. Along with her locket. Walking up to the both of them she decided to introduce herself. It was not so tedious to have another person join this lively crew.
"Heya, name's Angel. Angel Dayes. Nice to meet ya." she says
Angel was calm, but her tone was not as elegant more raspy, blunt and cool then before. Being relaxed would mean a very different girl. However her words were still clear and resonant. Knowing Cecilia she'd be shocked to know upright Angel Dayes was casual too. Yes, Angel really was adaptive even in tone and the way her words were coated.
"Ilia? Ms. Winfield will be joining us yes?" she asked leaning in
The way she said names was always straightforward and correct, Ivy was pronounced as I-vee, Tommy pronounced as Tom-ee. But for Cecilia she said it was Sea-sell-e-ahh instead of See-See-lee-ah. So she might as well resort to Ilia as a nickname. Somehow Angel would always have an accent.
In all seriousness though, Angel was surprised mostly all astute students were here. With high profiles or status, likely refined. Angel could only scoff. What's done is done. She could careless. Unless her being fine with the woods was her advantage. She can only guess most of them can't believe what their parents have to say on what had just taken place. The amusement here was the stereotypes were true, purebloods itching to say, "just wait till my parents hear about this!"

It was a bright sunny day outside, the sun rays casting down from above, striking the earth. She squinted her eyes to avoid the harsh rays of the sun. Small beads of sweat were beginning to form on her forehead as she looked at the headmaster before her. Blair was currently serving her very first detention. Through her years of academic, Blair had maintained an impeccable record of conduct, abiding by every rule given to her, yes she had bullied people when she was young, spread rumors, and made snide remarks about others in the past. But today marked the day that all that would change.
The past days had been uneventful for her, and one particular day she had immersed herself in a book she had discovered from the library. She sat in the hallway, reading her book peacefully without disturbance. Suddenly, this tranquility was disturbed when a student bumped into her, causing a page of her book to rip. Blair knew that the book belonged to the library, and damaging the book would put her in trouble, as she was responsible for the book. In a fit of rage, she stood up and faced the clumsy student, leading to a fight in the halls. Blair vividly remembered the face of Professor Lear as he separated the fight between her and the other student. The fight between her and the student had led to her facing discipline for her actions. So, here she was serving detention. Blair was wearing Vogue sunglasses, so she would at least look like she wasn't a middle-classer like the rest of the students.
Blair looked around, noting the number of people that were to be serving detention along side her. It was quite the sight. Never had she seen so many people get in trouble all at once. She had counted over 30 students earlier. She focused her attention back on the headmaster as he explained the task that she and the surrounding students were to be completing. Clearing debris. Clearing debris from in front of the forbidden forest. This was not how she expected her years at school to be going. She rolled her eyes in annoyance when a pair of old, oily dragon hide gloves and shears were thrust into her hands. She dropped the gloves in disgust, because who knows the amount of mold and dust on the inside. Not to mention the number of people who would have used the gloves before her. She took off her satin gloves and folded them neatly into her pockets, applying hand sanitizer to her hands before picking up the dragon hide gloves from the ground and putting them on, with visible disgust and disdain on her face. She then heard the headmaster's voice speak up once more. Pairs. Were they to be working in pairs? She sighed and looked around, arms crossed. She clearly didn't want to work in "pairs," but, it would get the job done faster. So she waited, silently hoping some desperate person would approach asking her to work in pairs with her.
Suddenly, she heard a voice speak up from next to her. She turned with a slight scowl on her face. It was a boy with blonde hair, pale skin, and dark hazel eyes. He had asked her if she had a partner. She contemplated, saying yes, she did, to avoid working with him. She looked at the guy from head to toe. She rolls her eyes with a heavy sigh before responding. "No. I don't. If you are going to ask me to be your partner, sure, I don't care, but if you aren't, just leave and don't waste my time," she said with a harsh undertone before looking away.
