Hideout Fin

Clay stood in the doorway, taking a page out of Wyatt’s book by not looking him in the eye for a moment. He took a big leap and decided to meet hers himself. He smiled reassuringly. She’d done the right thing, even though she was a Gryffindor. Wyatt knew he’d be able to look past it.

She smiled at him and placed a hand on his shoulder, he flinched. He felt bad about it, but it was involuntary. He hoped she knew that. "Well, I hope you feel better, really. Actually, I know you will, now that I'm your friend." What? Had Wyatt just made a friend? All it took was to get beat up, huh. Maybe I should do it more often, he thought, but he abandoned that idea rather quickly. If he got beat up more often, he’d be gone in about a week. He had thick skin, but not that thick.

”Anyway," she said, stepping backwards into the hall. "Whenever we meet again, maybe I can show you a few dance moves? Not sure if they're fit for a ballroom but better than nothing. You can teach me the piano or something in exchange."

Wyatt grinned, “You can start with bass.” He walked into the hospital wing, and the doors closed behind him.
