The scent of blossoms in the air, the sense of calm in the lands and the lightness that enchants you. They were all coming to an end. As summer lashed out for attention. The burning heat cuffs iron to your wrist, the sun glares with simmering anger, and the rain has gone in to hiding in fear of Apollo's mighty chariot. Has he forgotten that he isn't supposed to ride so close to the lands? He's toasting us alive! Oh Apollo, sweet Apollo, have some mercy.

Summer was insufferable to the raven, who preferred the harsh coldness of the winter. She prefers it when Persephone runs off to the Underworld. Crops may suffer, but the di Angelo did not. She flourished with a serene grace. She grew jollier, and the world was just bearable. But Summer was just not it. Her grandmother would say that Apollo and his "fun" chariot racing were to blame.

Soft steps and a calculated gaze accompanied the Italian girl as she walked to one of her safe havens. The Library. A place brimming with knowledge awaiting to be explored. She took a breath, as she took in the alluring scent of books. Today, all she wants to do is sit somewhere and read her comic book.

In a haze she moved forth and almost pushed a boy down. "Oh, I'm so sorry! Are you alright?"

Clark made his way towards tge library, carrying way to much in his arms. A few books were stacked unevenly against his chest, and some rolls of parchment were tucked between them, so they wouldnt slip away, though that cleary wasn't working well anymore. His bag hung heavily over his shoulder, stuffed with things, Clark had insited on carrying around "Just in case".
Some extra ink bottles, his note book, and even a thin jacket, because his body didn't take slight shifts in weather pretty well. Even though it was pretty much warm outside. But Clark didn't Care about that at all.

He mostly kept his attention on balancing everything neetly, not looking where he was going.
Which was exactly, why he almost collided with a fellow student. The sudden movement, infront of him, made him take a step backwards, his shoulders tensing, while the books and parchment shifted dangerously in his grip.
A small "Oh-", escaped his lips, but it was to late.
Several rolls of parchment slid their way free from between the pages , scattering across the stone stairs.

Great.

Just great.

His grip thightened around the books that he still held, while crouching down to pick up the lost rolls of parchment, not fully registering the girl's words.
He just muttered a quick "I'm....fine.", but it sounded rather unconvincing, given the situatiom he was in, at the moment.
A strand of hair fell into his face as he grabbed for another page , his fingers fumbling slightly, out of embarrassment.
Clark knew he should say more, but it was difficult for him to even form words in such a situation. A situation that was really hard for him, given his low social battery. But after some time he managed to say some more.
"Ah...sorry...for almost...bumping into you...aswell..."

The boy had been carrying many rolls of parchment in his arms and due to Marce's carelessness, most of the rolls had scattered on the floor. He looked like he was suffering due to the situation and Marcella instantly felt guilty. I suppose he doesn’t like interacting much.

"You don't have to apologize...It was solely my fault. I should've watched my way." She crouched down to help him find all that was lost. The library's silent chatter was a distant murmur. Marcella took her time to study the boy in front of her. He was a Gryffindor definitely. He had tousled light brown hair in a messy style. His eyes were a striking shade of green with hints of brown in it. Along with that she noticed the way his eyelashes framed his beautiful eyes. And the darkness that painted his lids. Marcella wondered what had happened. Lack of sleep most likely. Oh heavens...is he sick? Maybe Marcella could make him her grandma’s special savory pie! She gave the boy a soft smile. Would he be her friend? She really wanted to be so.

"My name is Marcella, by the way, what's your name?" she asked softly. He felt like a serene cat to her. If spoken to too loudly, he might run away.

Clark Remained crouched on the library stairs for a momsnt, staring at the scattered parchment rolls around him, as if he was trying to mentally recover from the situation that just happened here, before he could react physically in any way.

Honestly this was really for him.

The rolls had spread, some resting on the stairs infront of him, while others were even rolling down, away from him.
His grip automatically thightenes around one parchment he had already picked up, while his shoulders were drawn in, full of tension beneath bis cotton sweater, that hung a bit loosely over his frame.

He watched as the Girl crouched down beside him.

Clark blinked once before focusing back on the task ahead: Getting his Rolls of parchment.
The embarrassment still stung deep, while his hand reached out for a one of the rolls, his fingers trembling slightly.

"Y-You...you don't have to apologise for this...", he said, his voice wavering slightly. Clark took a deep breath, before continuing talkimg.
"I-It was me, who was carrying all his belongings...around...infront of him, for like no..reason..",

A slight sigh escaped his lips as he finished talking, as if his energy was leaving him after only talking for half a minute.

So he just continued rolling a parchment together, bis silver rings that decorated his fingers clinking softly together, while the motion was practicated in an odd percision even if his fingers were shaking at this point.
Because occupying his fingers when he was nervous, was a bit grounding, even if it only was helping a bit, but it was better than nothing.

When the girl next to him introsuced herself as Marcella, Clark hesitated before clearing his throat, before answering.

"Clark....", he mumbled. "Clark Stellan."

For a second he even lifted his gaze and looked at her properly, through the strands of his messy hair, that kepz falling into his face.

She seemed nice. Even gentle.

The realization caught him off balance, leaving him stunned for a second.

Because most people, just left him alone, after such a accident happened.

Clark than looled back down, his gaze locking onto the roll in his hand.

"....and thanks...for helping...I mean you could have just...left".

Her gaze softened as the boy spoke. A gentle aura surrounded him and made him glow in a soft way. Marcella decided to compromise and put the boy out of his misery. "Alright well both of us are at fault here then." she said with a soft smile, as the both of them were easily able to collect his fallen belongings.

Clark Stellan....a pretty name for a fitting person. Or well a fitting name for a pretty person. "Were you on the way to do something important, Clark?" she really liked him already. Call her delusional but she can see a vision where the two are great friends. Marcella rarely got such vibes off a person. So far only Ava gave such vibes. "I was wondering if you weren't busy maybe we could hang out?" Marcella usually wasn't someone to initiate the first move. But oddly enough, Clark made her feel brave. For once in her life.

Marcella extended her hand for a handshake as a soft smile adorned her lips. Soon he’ll get to know her a lot better. But she did not want to scare him off just know. The poor child already looked like he was suffering. She hoped she wasn’t adding to the gentle soul’s burdens.

Clark blinked surprised and a bit tacken back by Marcella‘s blunt question if he wanted to hang out with her. What even was a hangout in the first place? The word lingered in his mind a bit longer than it should have. He quietly went through every interaction he ever had since coming to Hogwarts. And sadly he could count the amount on one hand, even if he hoped he could find something that would resemble what Marcella was asking.

so people just simply…sit together? Do they read? Or where there specific rules that one should maintain while hanging out with someone? Was there something he should know in advance? The concept really felt foreign not only in his mind, but it had a weird taste on his tongue as well.

He blinked once.

Than his eyes widened slightly, with a faint sense of embarrassment, he realized he genuinely didn‘t really know what hanging out really meant.

Than Clark‘s eyes met Marcella‘s darker ones, who looked at him expectantly, while her Hand remained in the air, still directed at him. At Clark who just stood frozen in Place, while starring at her. Here Marcella was trying to be nice and invite him to be around her, and Clark was being his usually antisocial self.

After a few more seconds, of no response from him, Clark began to shift the books he had gathered earlier, in his arm, tugging them beneath one, while extending his other, now free hand. He took Marcella‘s rather warm hand in his, and shook her hand gently.

“Yeah….sure we can hang out? I don‘t have anything important to do…Just wanted to study....in the library...
