A sigh.
That was all that could come out of Rose's mouth for the last few hours. She was desperately waiting the end of the day and the time she could finally reach her dorm and fall upon her bed to drift away to the world of dream. But it was not without any more classes left.
Why did she have such a long day and such an heavy bag? Indeed all the classes she had that day were classes in which having her books was requested. And it was not small light books. On the contrary. She couldn't bear the weight of her heavy bag on her shoulder and running from a classroom to another with her bag half falling from her -weak- shoulder anymore.
In between two classes the break was long enough for her to take her breath again and a bit of a fresh air. She was passing by the courtyard and decided to go and to seat down on one of the bench which had a stone table in front of. She let out a big and long sigh as she sit. Despite being sit all day long going from class to class was more tiring than it looked. Rose put her bag on the table before stretching a bit her arms and back sore from carrying her heavy bag too many days in a row.
Then she checked the time on her watch and seeing she still had some minutes she decided to read some of the books she had along her parchments. She took all of her things out of the bag to settle it down on the table as she started to read what she may have written in her previous class and comparing it with what was on the book. As some details were missing along some personal notes -indeed Rose liked writing personal notes of her thought about the lesson on her parchment- she took her quill and ink also out and started to write the complementary information. After some minutes she was done writing and quickly went over it to make sure nothing more was letting out before she closed her ink bottle and put both her quill and ink back into her bag. Then she started to read through her small dark blue notebook she was carrying everywhere with her before looking at the time on her watch once more. Her eyes widened when she saw what time it was as she was going to be late to her class. However she didn't have time to put all of her books in her bag as it would take too much time so she only put her parchment and one book before taking everything else in her arms and rushing out of the courtyard to get to her classroom. Nevertheless in her haste she didn't take a good grip of her books that were half falling from her arms and Rose as clumsy as she was it was far from being a good idea for her to carry her things this way. Indeed as she was almost running as things were slipping out of her arms. By the time she realised what was happening all of her books had already found themselves on the stone floor.
Great Rose thought disbelief written all over her face as she bent down to promptly take everything back.
"That was all I needed" she muttered in annoyance to herself.

@Rose Pearce So so so sorry about the outrageously late reply!
Rosie was ready for the day to be over, and had been ready for hours and hours. Well, she did love classes, but boy were they exhausting. Her bag was heavy, her arms were tired from hauling her supplies around, and she just wanted to take a nice, long nap. Ahh, yes, a nap. How refreshing it would be to just lay down for a bit, close her eyes, and get some rest.
However, of course, she was not quite in a place where she could take said nap. Walking through the Courtyard on her way to her next class, she knew that if she were to sleep now then she would be late, and that wasn't something she was ever willing to be. Therefore, she continued walking, hoping for nothing to get in her way.
As she was walking, she felt as her foot nudged something. She stopped abruptly, not wanting to slip and fall if it were something slippery. She looked down, inspecting what exactly it was that she'd nearly stepped on.
A book. Specifically, what seemed to be a notebook. There were a few other things here and there, scattered along with it, almost as if someone had been in such a rush to get to class that they had left it behind. A tragic fate for the poor supply, but Rosie was sure that it hadn't been ditched on purpose.
She bent down to pick it up, hoping to find a name on it somewhere to return it to the right owner. Searching on the outside of it and finding nothing, she decided to open it up to see.
Looking through the pages quickly for fear of intruding upon someone's private thoughts, she managed to find a name. Rose. Rose Pearce. Perfect!
She couldn't help but let her eyes settle on the pages, though, curious as to what else was in there. She knew that it was wrong, knew that she should not be snooping around in what was someone else's private business, but that bit of morality left her for the moment. Within the pages were many different random things. Doodles, sketches, even some small notes inside. Reading through the notes, she saw written out worries, hopes, and ideas. Whoever this 'Rose' person was must be quite creative, but also quite closed off. If she felt the need to write everything down inside of a notebook rather than sharing it with people, then she may be a bit like Rosie herself, who chose not to show many of her worries.
"Alright, Rose. Time to go find you, wherever you are!" she said, closing the notebook back up and slipping it into her bag. First was class, then she had a free block to search. But until then, she would protect the book, and ensure that nothing could possibly happen to it.

Finally her last class was done. It seemed to have been endless and the time to go so slowly. Once Rose heard the teacher dismissed the class she had never felt more relieved and impatient to leave a class. The reason? She wanted to go back to the courtyard picking up her missing things. Especially this thing.
Earlier when she was trying not to arrive late for class a lot of her things fell down on the ground. In her hurry she couldn't pack up all her belongings nor see she left some of her things behind. Especially her little dark blue notebook. She couldn't focus in class because when she arrived and unpacked her school supplies on her desk she was not able to find her small notebook. Rose was cherishing it a lot as it was a really personal object to her and she wouldn't want losing it nor anyone finding it. A lot of personal things were written in it: her thoughts, worries, desires but also some sketches she has never showed to anyone. Her drawing were far from being poor but Rose was not thinking of it as fine. Therefore unless she was showing it to someone of her own she had no attend on letting anyone peeking inside.
Rose quickly packed her things up ready to leave the classroom. However while doing so she checked once more to be sure her notebook was not somewhere at the bottom of her satchel. Nothing.
Her nervousness rose again as she quickly left the classroom to head towards the courtyard. How could have she been so reckless? Right now she was feeling more annoyed and upset than worried.
Some minutes after Rose finally reached the courtyard where she almost tripped down. It was not the time to fall nor to make her things fell over again. Her light green eyes started to look around the place to recall where she had fallen earlier when she spotted one of her books still laying on the ground. She sighed of relief. If her remaining books were here her notebook would probably be here as well as no one appeared to have touched her things. She quickly went to the book to put it in her bag. Then her eyes started to look for the precious item. As she was looking around her anxiety started to come back the more she kept looking the worrier she felt.
That was it. She inspected every corner her notebook may have found itself without any luck.
It was gone.
Rose stood up. Her skin was fair but usually her cheeks were slightly red. This time she was just pale. Her stomach knotted and she felt of the verge of throwing up. She left the courtyard to get back to her common room.
It was lost.
How was she suppose to find the student who had taken it in a school as huge as Hogwarts?

Rosie's last class of the day was finally, finally over. She'd spent the majority of it trying not to fall asleep as she worked, which was rather rare for her. As she walked out and into the Courtyard again, all that she wanted was to take a nice, long nap, and to relax after such a long day.
But, as she was going through her bag to find a bit of candy to eat, she felt the notebook. The same one that she'd found abandoned and picked up, hoping to find the person who lost it. She didn't open it back up, trying to have a bit of self control.
"Where could you possibly be?" she asked, well aware of how difficult it would be to find a single person in the entirety of Hogwarts. But, she sat down on a bench near the spot the book was left, hoping that whoever had lost it would come back looking, and she could return it.
As she sat there, she pulled out some yarn and a crochet hook, planning to work on something fun for the next little while, to distract her from the fact that she was just sitting there, blindly hoping that she could find a specific person that she didn't even know.
