après moi.

12th February 2026 | Title: ‘after me’
Participation in secret societies, in and of themselves, was not something that hugely interested Livia. She much preferred reading about those of history, analysing their workings and understanding what functioned well. Such lessons could be applied to numerous facets of her life. However, that which was dubbed MAPS had drawn her in with the promise of intrigue and intel. She enjoyed gathering information and working from within the shadows; it would be much beneficial to her endeavours with the Hogwarts Headliner and its necessity for half-truths. What she did not enjoy, however, was being subservient to a theatrical individual who deigned to call themselves Regent.
Now, Livia was no stranger to subservience. After all, she had purposefully lowered her status in the Headliner to achieve her own ends, having grown tired of cleaning up after the aspiring ghoul that went by @Silas Norwood. The difference here was that, if she were required to leave a calling card, she would be unable to maintain her anonymity – her agency. She did not truly think that the card she had been given – titled XIII. DEATH – tied back to anything about her. Using it, however, would also suggest a sort of claim to it. She did not wish to be a claimant of death, be it real or metaphorical. Thus, she had left the card next to her bed, the flag of the white rose of York pointed towards her. She did not intend to move it.
For her challenge – the most facile ‘challenge’ possible – she had been assigned to ‘spread a rumour’. As this was something she did regularly for the Headliner, she simply manoeuvred to the Headliner Office during one of the times fewer people frequented it. She wrote a few manuscripts on the typewriters and then made her way back to the dungeons, where she added a few pressed flowers by way of paste and finally signed Lady Audentia at the bottom. These were arguable gossip flash-articles, only about a paragraph in length. Contrary to the articles published in the paper, these did not include photographs of those involved. The truth of what was written varied from piece to piece.

Supercilious stabbing abounds!
It appears that Nicholas* Ritter has landed himself in the Hospital Wing once again, having endured stab wounds to his stomach. He has been frequenting the less favourable areas of Hogsmeade, and it has been said that he has attempted to enter the fabled Chamber of Secrets. More likely is that he ended up in fights with the incorrect individuals – perhaps the grimy slug @Silas Norwood might have imparted those wounds to Mr Ritter. It does not bode well to entertain such rapscallions in our halls. Something must be done about this injustice.XOXO

Hogwarts admission scandal!
Surely, the most observant of students will have seen one @Camille de Varenne skulking about the halls of Hogwarts. His behaviour forces one to question the standards of admission to the hallowed halls of Hogwarts. The school has a vast reputation of being the bastion of magical excellence in the British Isles, but they accept the likes of him? Disgusting.
Let me explain. Mr de Varenne – or, perhaps, simply Camille due to his lack of maturity – has made himself known through various fits and tantrums. The boy seems to extend his chubby fingers towards anything and everything, much like a grubby toddler that has not achieved his whims. Were he not supposedly eleven, it would be adorable. However, as we are all subjected to his wailing presence, it is a disgrace to Hogwarts’s reputation. I implore the staff to consider removing him from these premises.XOXO
Lady Audentia
Those were among some of the rumour-bearing pamphlets Livia began to plaster through the halls late in the evening of 12th February. She would not leave her calling card, no, but unless this ‘Regent’ character was an imbecile (which she supposed was entirely possible), they would be aware the challenge had been fulfilled.
