A prank for the century (With Mirada Johnson)
Sara walked through the halls to the Great Hall for a snack. It wasn't breakfast, nor lunch, nor dinner. It was a snack. She could have just gone down to the kitchens, but this was where the person she wanted to see would definitely be. As Sara pushed through the doors to the hall, she glanced up. The "sky" was dark and cloudy. At that moment, Sara thought it mirrored her mood. The Great Hall was nearly empty, except for a few students, most of whom were from the older years, and a few House Elves who were cleaning the tables from the morning's breakfast. Sara sat down at the far corner of the Hufflepuff table, what she liked to call "The Nobody’s Square." She was a nobody, and this was her favorite spot, but more importantly, no one could see her. That was the way she liked it: silent, invisible, and boring. Now, to wait. Technically, she did have class in about thirty minutes, so she hoped the person she wanted to see would be here soon. As the time ticked by, she occupied herself by reading Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Every time the door opened, she found herself looking up to see who it was. Nope, not yet, was the answer every time.
'Come on, Miranda, hurry up!' Sara thought, her patience dwindling.

⚝⚝ It was just between lessons, and I was absolutely starving. So, I put my bag over my shoulders, and walked down the stairs to the Great Hall. I opened the door, and looked in. It was mostly empty, except for a few older students, probably revising for their exams. I walked in, towards the Ravenclaw table, on the way spotting a student all alone on the Hufflepuff table. She had extremely cool purple hair, and was reading a book. I looked carefully to see what book it was - it was "Fantastic Beasts, and where to find them" a classic book that lots of people seemed to like reading. Then, I realised that she was looking at me. I smiled at her - she seemed younger than me, and possibly a bit lonely.
I sat down in my normal spot, right at the end of the Ravenclaw table, facing away from the other girl - not to be rude, but because it was my normal spot.
I took my new book, which my parents had sent me just this morning, out of my bag. It was a classic crime book, "Death on the Nile" by Agatha Christie. I opened it, tucked myself into a ball on the bench, and started reading. ⚝⚝

A prank for the century (With Mirada Johnson)
Finally, Miranda walked in. Sara let out a groan of relief, closing her book slightly while keeping her place with a finger. Miranda sat down at her usual spot at the Ravenclaw table. It was the worst place to be, Sara thought—right in the spotlight.
Watching from the Hufflepuff table, Sara observed her target. She needed to pick a spell. Maybe a Tarantallegra... or something else? Either way, it would have to do. Sara slid her finger out of the book, letting it close with a soft thud. She reached for her wand, which was tucked behind her ear, and brought it down to rest against her knee.
Miranda had accidentally pranked her in Transfiguration. It was a mistake, sure, but a prank was a prank, and pranks required payback. At least, that was how Sara saw it. She idly turned the wand in her hand, a habit she had developed over the months. The wood felt comforting under her fingers.
As she passed by Miranda on her way out, the wand tip twitched slightly—barely visible, but entirely purposeful.
"Tarantallegra," Sara murmured.
She watched in glee as Miranda's feet began to dance uncontrollably, sliding behind a support beam to enjoy the scene.

@Sara BonnelThe book was good. I heard slight footsteps behind me, but didn't turn around. But, then, I felt my feet start moving. Before I knew what was happening, I was uncontrollably dancing. I dropped my book on the floor accidentally, and held onto the table, trying to stop dancing.
I tried my best to look around - who had cast a spell on me? Tarrantella was a horrible spell. But, even worse, I didn't know how to stop it. I had my wand right next to me, but, even so,
I was getting angry. What had I ever done! I kept myself to myself whenever possible. But, someone obviously didn't like me.
I looked around again, more carefully. The girl with the purple hair had gone! Was it her who had cast the spell on me, after I'd tried to be nice to her. I looked down at my feet - they were still dancing. At this rate, I was going to get a hole in the sole of them. I tried to bend over to pick up my book, but I ended up being flung forwards onto the ground, my feet still moving. I lay there, not sure if I was actually going to be able to stand back up again.
