Tug o' War
From the start, Cassie did not know what the game was all about but when during the game that being played, they know for sure Cassie need to rely on the strength they have. Cassie more into a runner type kind of person than a muscle kind of person but this game means nothing if they did not gave their best. The rope burn starting to hurt their hands but Cassie pushed it through.
Inch by inch the Blue Team moved closer to the opposing team. At the end the Red Team won the first round. Cassie drop the rope and move their hands around to lessen the pain on their hands. "This game definitely was not a joke"Cassie said to the boy in front of them. They massage the now sore arms of theirs.
"Holy hell that was something else"Cassie said to no one particular. The Gryffindor girl from their team shout a word of encouragement for their team and the boy in front of them agreed to it. Cassie pick up the rope again even though their hands are red from the burning rope but the competitive side of them would not let the other team win for the second time around.
With the same stance Cassie dug their heels deeper to the ground, grab the rope like it is her life and gritted their teeth. "Come on! We can win this thing!"Cassie shouted battle cry. This time around no Spanish accent come out from their mouth. Cassie take a deep breath and pulled the rope with all their might.

"Oy! Quidditch boyo, you actually pulling?"
Rafael’s nose scrunched up at the sound of such ill words, his sharp gaze flicking over to Sherman, the annoying redhead stick figure pulling the rope in front of him. Like that small bean knew anything. Who did this kid think he was? The freaking Rope Police? Wasn’t he aware of the weight Rafael was putting on the rope? His eyes flickered over the face of the freckled boy, his gaze laced with disdain as he considered the foul words resting on the tip of his tongue. Oh, how easy it would be, to break his nose. The boy’s fingers were itching, his lip bitten between his lip as he considered such a feeling– as much as he wanted to, longed to cause his insulter bodily harm, he couldn’t. Alan was watching. What was the boy to think, if he was the young Captain attacking a teammate?
Oh, well. There was more than one way to skin a cat.
Putting on a smug grin, the Captain looked down at Sherman, regarding the boy as a person would regard an insignificant ant. “That’s cute,” he would mutter sweetly at his insulter. “Unfortunately, lack of effort doesn’t mean lack of result for everyone. It’s not my fault that I’m stronger than you. You see,” he explained, as if teaching a toddler math, “These games? Are all about strategy! Did you know that? Right now,” he nodded towards the opposing team, “they think they have a chance. And, contrary to what you may or may not think, I don’t believe ‘just winning’ is fun.” He smiled sweetly. “I want to bring their hopes up. And then, I want to crush them.”
He would leave it at that, his eyes floating to the other side of the rope. He wasn’t in the mood for dealing with pathetic sports newbies, only had time to enjoy himself. After all, they were winning. What more could the boy ask for?

Alan felt the pressure of keeping the rope steady as his team was slowly dragged towards the side of the other team. With a slight huff the not particularly strong kid pushed his feet into the ground and did his best to pull at the engorged shoe lace. His knuckles stood out white and the inside of his palms burned away, when he caught up to the conversation across from him in the red team.
"N-No chance!", he wheezed, a challenging grin on his face. Did Alan just tell a not only taller but also much stronger child he would win in a game purely based on strength? Yes, yes he did. "Y-You're gonna lose th-this one, Raf", he taunted in a manner of friendly competition as he brought back the nickname he had accidentally given the taller child during an errand, before deciding to address his own team. "L-Let's go, Team Blue; w-we ought to sh-show them who is the b-better team!", he said in an attempt to cheer his team on and make up for the minimal loss they made when they had stepped into the other team's territory. Hopefully they would bring it back to a tie soon enough or better, win. Alan was not someone who had to win. He wanted fun to be the first priority, but knowing this game to be fun currently, winning the game was a close second and therefore he would do his best to make his team proud.

There was no doubt that Rivers strengths did not lay in actual physical strength. But still she felt like she gave the rope as strong of a pull as she could. She thought that perhaps her tight grip around the giant shoelace-looking rope could perhaps pull the team to a victory… but no. She felt her small feet start to slide slowly but surely across the ground toward the other side where the opposite team were pulling with all their might. They were a person less, but that did not seem to matter in the grand scheme of things, and they seemed to be getting the lead so far.
River tried to change her stance to get a more secure footing, but it was difficult without letting her balance falter in the moment. Her grip around the rope shifted and tightened as she continued to do her best in keeping the darn thing as steady as she could. She hoped she could get to the end of this game without being tugged into falling over the person in front of her, or being squashed beneath the people behind her for that matter.
The ravenclaws red curls were flying all over the place, and she tried her best to keep them out of her face and the face of the others. It was a difficult task, no question about it. She could imagine a crystal clear picture of Hoot, happily dancing around his secret stash of stolen hair ties. River could only hope that he wasn’t actually stealing other students' hair ties as well as her own.
Despite her hair flying about, River kept her attention on the game, and her team, believing that if they all worked together they could get to a win.Action || Pull the rope

Still reeling from their “captain’s” earlier comment, Maria’s first tug was a little harder and a little more aggressive than she had originally planned. She might as well have been growling with how much it irritated her, her short girl fury reaching boiling point. When they felt the rope shift to their side of the line she visibly relaxed, slightly satisfied that her small burst of annoyance helped to yield the intended result. The boy in front of her and the girl behind her also gave a good pull, their last member seemingly relaxed in the back. The other Gryffindor boy called him out, and she had to admit, the Quidditch player with a cocky attitude was strong. He was giving almost the least amount of effort but still managed to help pull.Interacting with: @Rafael D'Spacito

“Not a bad idea, but unfortunately not all of us are intensely strong.” She thought as she continued her steady pull on the rope.
The boy’s earlier comment must’ve hit a nerve because their fearless leader felt the need to open his mouth and say something back. “Do you ever stop talking, pretty boy?” She called out to the boy in the back briefly turning to narrow her eyes at him. With a huff she blew a few stray hairs out of her face. Still keeping a firm grip on the rope she kept a steady pull, not as forceful as the first one but still pulling her own weight.

It looked like there were a little bickering amongst the red team. It was quite amusing, though the words that left their lips did not reach Aurelia's ears, the growing irritation on the Quidditch Captain's face pulled the corner of the fourteen year old's lips upwards into an amused smirk. On the other side, River once again was putting a spectacular show of strength, however, the effort of her teammates was not much of an improvement than the last round. One specifically, Alan Vanes, the seemingly timid boy who Aurelia assumed was not fond of her, seemed to have worn out despite the fact that it was only a few minutes into the game. The other three whom Aurelia was unfamiliar with (@Wren Caster @Adam Harringtom @Cassandra Ironwoods) were putting in more effort than Alan was, unfortunately, was still no enough collectively to beat the red team.
The red team was still thriving even though there was a slight bit of hindrance at their end. Almost creepily, the lovely creature watched intently as the red-head ( @Zykeal Lane ) pulled at the rope, his biceps tensing and curling, and although the monster hunter would never admit out loud, it was quite entertaining to watch. Sure she may seem mature in a way, but almost every girl in the midst of entering teenagehood had to relish 'eye candy moments' every now and then. Although the more attractive boy among the two males in the team was right in front of him, Rafael did not seem to be taking the game any seriously whilst the two girls, Maria and Anastasia was doing all the dirty work. Regardless, the red team triumphed and would inch slowly towards their win.
Honestly, what was Aurelia doing here wasting her time watching in awe at younger boys flexing their muscle? Although she would gladly deny, she had better things to do. It did not take too long for Aurelia to get up on her feet and advance back towards the old Scottish castle.

A wicked grin was the only expression that would be deduced from any who peered upon him a the moment. Clearly he had gotten to the boy in the back, which only led him to reaffirm the strength that he was already exerting into his pull of the rope at the time being. There wasn't much that he was interested in within the silly sport that wizards seemed to enjoy. There was just too much muggle within him to conclude that quidditch was a sport worth paying attention too. Once more he gandered towards the opposite team as his team seemed to gain ground upon them.
Clearly this wasn't an even match and he even thought that the organizer of the game seemed to pick the sides quite poorly. This enjoyable to him though, the competition of it, and he exerted more energy into making sure that there was no way that his team was going to lose, even with a useless back end. Once again though, he couldn't help retort towards as he peered back over his shoulder towards the weak point in the back, "You talk too much cappy'," he taunted. It was odd though, as he looked back, that weird, uncomfortable almost feeling that someone is staring at you.
Golden hues flickered to the observer, a girl that he hadn't really previously noticed that was watching the game at the time. She was staring at him, almost hungrily, and it caught him off guard. The first year wasn't often gazed upon as the girl was now doing so, it was a tad' intimidating to him and he couldn't let his hands slip from the rope for a quick moment. Bright hues would lock with the girls for a moment before she turned and started to leave, it was a little spark in him that caused him to reaffirm his grip upon the rope and continue to pull, trying to gain the ground he might have lost in his slip of the grip.

Although the rope still slid towards the Red Team, Adam's grip felt like it was getting stronger, and he reminded himself that there was still a chance to win this thing. He looked over his shoulder and smiled through gritted teeth at his Slytherin teammate, nodding as they remarked in surprise: "This game definitely was not a joke." They were right; Adam hadn't actually played real tug-of-war before, and it was much harder than he'd thought it might be.
"I know, right?" he answered, turning his attention back to the rope while still speaking to his teammate. He pulled as hard as he could to try and get back to an even point. "How are they so good at this?" It was a question he really did want to know the answer to -- even while teasing and tormenting each other, the Red Team was still edging towards victory, while the cooperative Blue Team was being pulled towards defeat. It made no sense!
In the corner of his eye, Adam saw their sole spectator get up and walk away, wondering what had made her lose interest in the game. It was probably more entertaining to watch when there was a crowd, so he didn't really blame her. It wasn't something to dwell on, especially not now. Shaking his head, Adam narrowed his eyes and continued to give it his all, hoping for a burst of strength that would get his team closer to a win. They could still pull their way to victory, right? Right.
Hopefully.

Interacting with @Cassandra Ironwoods and @Adam HarringtomHexcode: #BF8000Once again River gave the rope her best tug, and this time too, she felt like she actually had given some good initiative. Still though, the rope inched closer to the other team, and before long, they had another success. They even had one person less than River’s team, how could they manage to get a win twice in a row? Most likely their only chance of actually making it was if their whole team worked together as one. After two rounds of pulling, River didn’t know how long her puny arms could stay strong thought his game.
She could hear the chatter of the other team, still they were not busy enough with their tormenting that they lost concentration of the game apparently, as they continued to pull. There was really no understanding how all this had come to play out the way it had.
the student River had met previously called out. "Come on! We can win this thing!", River furrowed her eyebrows as she continued to struggle with the rope. “I mean, if things continue like this I’m afraid we don't really stand a chance”, River answered them through gritted teeth. River usually turned to realistic ideas in situations like these, she'd rather be prepared to lose than to be surprised and dissapointed later. She wouldn't let it keep her from trying her best until the end though. She soon heard Adams voice speak up. "How are they so good at this?", River wondered the same thing. “Good question Adam, I don’t get it. They’re even a person short of us…”, She reacted. Part of River was slightly annoyed that their team had been unable to get one good result out of these rounds, but they still had a chance to pull themselves together. The ravenclaw was determined to take that chance, and continued to give her best attempts.

The game begin again for the second round. This time their arms and hands are aching but Cassie tough it out. From the corner of their eyes, they saw a girl that around Alan and the Ravenclaw age, watching the game for awhile then got up from her position. Cassie griped the rope as hard as they could and tug it into their side of the line.
Then River coined her thought, “I mean, if things continue like this I’m afraid we don't really stand a chance”River answered them through gritted teeth. "I know, right?"The Ravenclaw Third Year inquires to both Cassie and River. It make no sense at all. Their team with five people in it and the opposing team just down one person.
Cassie still trying their hardest but at the end this round was not their team luck and the Blue Team lost for the second time, again. Just like the first round, the Blue Team inches by inches went to the Red Team territory. Albeit the little argument and the teasing of the Red Team, the four of them still winning.
"How are they so good at this?"The Ravenclaw boy - at this point Cassie remembered his name - Adam speak out his thought. “Good question Adam, I don’t get it. They’re even a person short of us…”, River reacted. Cassie drop the rope when the second round was over. They look down at their red hands. There are a bit abrasions from the rope that burning their hands.
"Seriously! At this point we might just give up already"Cassie stated to River and Adam."Ya no sirve de nada jugar este juego"Cassie ranted. They feel frustrated. "I mean, there is no use playing this game anymore,"Translated Cassie for both of their team mates. "Sorry. When I felt angry or frustrated, that happened"Cassie express then sighs.
Cassie move their hands back and forth in fanning motion to lessen the pain in their hands. "How many rounds did we need to get through again?"Cassie enquires to both Adam and River. When they can feel their hands again, Cassie picked up the engorged shoe lace. "Yo! noodle arms, put your back and strength to it. Us in the back is trying here"Cassie screamed to Alan.
At this point Cassie did not care if what they said offend Alan or not. It was barely an insult in their book. They just want the Blue Team to win for once.
