Secret Blossom Ball Event Finished

Macie was a bit annoyed that she had come to the ball alone but she would make the best of it as she smoothed her dress and headed out on to the dancefloor she walked slowly towards one side out of everyone's way but she offered a soft"hello, good evening" to everyone she passed.
once she got to a spot on the far end of the dance floor she began softly swaying to the music.

As she swayed Macie's mind drifted back to her days in a muggle dance class the muggles called ballet.
Macie had enjoyed this class and she had often been praised for being so good at it but she felt out of place as she had been in the class as she had. often had to put herself in a bubble so to speak as so that no one got to close to the young witch, she often had run out of class when it had ended so that no one would try to speak to her, this was not easy for Macie as she wanted to make friends but she knew it would not be a good idea to make friends with muggles as she knew they would want to come to her house and that was not possible as her family was magical and had to keep that hidden.

When Annie first asked Saskia to a dance, she was ecstatic. Her heart practically leaped out of joy, and if she could, she could have hugged her right then and there out of sheer giddiness. Of course she wanted to dance with her. It was one of the things she was looking forward to when she realized that she was, in fact, going with her to the Ball.

Unfortunately for her, she must have been so excited that she forgot to speak altogether. Or could it have been nerves too? It might have been. The thing was, she didn't know the first thing about dancing. Ballroom dancing was one of those things that fancy people did. Probably something those rich pureblood families made their children do all the time. She was obviously not a pureblood child, and while she was grateful to be in a good family that didn't hold such tight regulations in that typical pureblood household, she knew that this was going to bite her in the back.

Saskia might have been relatively decent at running, or even flying, but dancing was another issue altogether. She wasn't even wearing proper shoes, for Merlin's sake. What if she accidentally stepped on Annie's toes? Best case scenario, she could have just stepped on her dress instead since it was long, and maybe she might have tripped. But the idea of stepping on her feet with her boots was cringeworthy.

She realized she was taking pretty long to respond to a simple question she should have had an immediate answer to. She nodded tentatively at Annie, the butterflies rushing back in as she smiled. She was probably looking like an idiot just nodding at her without saying anything, but she didn't want to ruin the moment. Besides, if she did open her mouth, she felt that she would have fumbled on even giving her a verbal agreement. Thankfully, Annie understood and soon enough, the two were at the dance floor.

Annie had asked Saskia to lead the dance, which made sense since Saskia was an inch taller than her. Saskia smiled again, but again, nothing came from her mouth. It was odd how the girl in front of her could silence her. Or was she just overthinking things? There was some pressure to not mess up, and she knew that, and now that she was to take the lead of the dance, she really had to make sure she didn't screw up.

That was why she had to force herself to act. Why should she worry? Worrying would have made her uneasy, and that uneasiness might have made things worse. Awkward, even. She couldn't let Annie see that she was nervous. That was how it went when she was Quidditch Captain. She couldn't let her teammates see if she was nervous for an upcoming game. All she had to do was smile, work hard, and hope for the best. Maybe this wouldn't be so different. Maybe in the heat of the moment, she wouldn't have to worry about stepping on toes. It was just her and Annie now.

Despite her inexperience in dancing, she did see other people dance. In fact, there were some people in the ball already dancing who she watched for a bit before Annie came over. It didn't seem too difficult. Hopefully it would be as easy as it seemed. She just had to start with something simple, like knowing where her hands should be. She reached out to hold Annie's right hand while letting her other hand rest below her shoulder blade. She wasn't sure how close they should have been, and while she tried to keep a respectable distance between them, there was a part of her that wanted to be closer.

As for the actual steps, she wasn't sure on what exactly to do. She knew there were different kinds of dances, but there was no way she would have been able to differentiate between them all. If she was being honest, she probably didn't know what the actual dances entailed. She really did hope Annie wasn't too disappointed that she was probably going to be going off from the traditional methods.

She started off with some small steps. She made a step forward, then to the side, then eventually backwards, making sure she was nowhere close to stepping on her feet. It was easier to know if she was because she was wearing a short dress and she could actually see her feet through her peripheral vision. Luckily, it seemed that Annie knew what she was trying to do, and she was quick to follow along. That was good. They were actually getting somewhere with this.

Sooner or later, she lost herself in the dance. It was just her and Annie now, and she was getting the hang of the steps by now. Her steps became faster, and more in tune with Annie's, and she could feel herself much closer to her than how they initially started. She hadn't even noticed that her hand had dipped towards her waist. All she wanted to do was stare at her and stay like this for a little longer.

But all good things eventually came to an end. Annie tore herself apart from her, clearly not happy. Was she nervous? Did she just not like the dance? No, she apologized for not being a good dance partner, and that she should have found someone else. Before Saskia could say anything, Annie ran off, making her way through the crowds of people that blocked her path. Saskia took a step forward, intending on running after her, but the crowd reassembled itself back as if to fill in the space that was there a few moments ago. The dance floor was even more compact than ever, and she didn't know if she would have been able to find her by now.

Now that she was all alone, the girl didn't know what to do. She didn't even know whether Annie would have came back for her. Judging from what she had said, she probably wasn't planning to. She would have assumed that she did find someone better. As much as Saskia wanted to reel her back in and tell her that she was perfect the way she was, she couldn't. That moment had passed, and she let her get away.

She wasn't sure where they had gone wrong. Did she really think she was that unworthy of her? She said she wasn't a good dance partner, but she followed through the steps. Saskia was concerned about stepping on her feet, but she wasn't sure if the same would have applied with Annie. The consequences would have been less severe, considering how her feet were protected by her boots, but she didn't even have to worry about that because it never happened.

Was there something had Saskia done that would make her feel bad then? Was it the times she stood there in silence, giving her wordless signs of encouragement without actually expressing how much she wanted this moment with her? Did she think she wasn't interested enough that she thought she could have done better with another person? Or as she said it, a guy? If she was being honest, Saskia couldn't have cared less whether she was dancing with a guy or a girl. That wasn't anything close to being a problem with her at all. She wanted to dance with Annie. There might have been some guys who were available for dancing, but she wanted Annie and only her.

She wished she could just go over to wherever she was and tell her everything. That she was worthy to dance with her. That she was a wonderful partner and a wonderful date. That she had nothing to worry, and that she cared about her and that she didn't want her to be sad. But no matter how hard she tried to wish for it, it would have never came true.

As far as she was concerned, her business on the dance floor was done. She didn't feel like dancing with anyone else, not after the disaster that happened with Annie. Maybe she could have had a nice chat with someone at the Quidditch Stands instead. She wasn't sure where her friends were on the actual Pitch, but there were just too many people to look for. Maybe she could have had a decent conversation with someone without feeling like so squished and boxed in.

It was decided. It would have been a good plan for now.

Percival gave one more small smile at Ginevra before turning away from her completely. His gaze went back to Althea as she shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you as well." he said as his hand dropped back down to his side.

"I'm from the Slytherin house. Just like Hanako. Isn't that right?" he spoke with a grin. As he spoke, Percival slung his arm across Hanako's shoulders. Percival drew Hanako towards him in an almost sidearm hug. Which was surprisingly easy seeing how he stood above the other by a good couple inches. The thought of throwing a little bit of payback back at Hanako was a little too much to pass up.

Percival was quick to let go of Hanako not wanting to test his friend's thin patience. The boy turned his gaze to kara just as she faceplanted into the ground. Percival raised an eyebrow at the girl's clumsy display. Inwardly, he wanted to ask if she was ok. Though it seemed like she got back up pretty quick.

As the girl introduced herself, Percival realized that this was the girl Hanako had told him about. From what he had heard, Kara was a close friend to Hanako. In his mind, the girl was not that overly special from the looks of it. Though Percival, was not about to voice his opinion out loud.

His ears picked up as the Althea whispered to Hanako since he was still in close proximity with his roommate. Though the most he could pick up something was about a girlfriend. A slightly confused expression came across his face as he tried to debate on who the girlfriend was. As far as he knew, Hanako didn't have a girlfriend, and he hoped that the other would tell him if he did.

Percival turned to look at Kara with a slightly raised eyebrow. He wondered if she had something to do with anything. "Hi Kara. My name is Percival Rainwood." he said holding his hand out to the girl.

"I doubt you'll remember me with a smile."

She held onto Yoohoo bottle wondering why did it have such a... interesting taste, to put it kindly. She turned over the bottle looking at the ingredients, High Fructose Corn Syrup... Water... Dry Milk. "Aha!" she said mentally, she smiled almost proud of herself for figuring out the puzzle. The milk and the water was most likely the reason for the strange taste of the drink, it was when the thought of; they should have named the drink, "Boo-Hoo" instead of Yoohoo struck her mind- it would have been a more accurate name if they did.

Satisfied with herself, she placed the drink down and looked around the pitch. It was safe to say that the ball was definitely in full swing by now, many sat like her chatting away under the stars while the more brave souls danced away with their dates or friends. Unknown to the series of events happening nearby with a few of her classmates, she looked at the main dance floor she saw no longer Breana standing alone, however, dancing with someone she didn't know, perhaps the unknown white-haired boy was the person she was making cupcakes for a while ago? "Oh, Really? You prefer summer more? Scotland definitely has some crazy weather sometimes" She shivered remembering how extreme the weather gets at times, sometimes she swears that the weather was often decided by spinning a wheel with "very hot" or "very cold" on each side and no one would ever know which one would get picked. "Are you finding it hard to adapt to the cold weather Scotland has? Or rather more, If you don't mind me asking- where are you from?"

She began shoveling fries into her mouth as she watched many of her classmates dance, almost wishful if she could be there- well she could have been if her date hadn't poofed on her, with the thought of dates and people on her mind she looked at Crystal, "Say... what brought you here... I mean to the ball and stuff?" She questioned.

Flash’s weary heart found no restful home in Ruka’s words. What first started off seeming playful quickly turned to business. Not that Flash had any right to expect anything different. It seemed all of his exhaustive efforts to make himself hardened and cold had done nothing to quell the sentimental fool inside of him. It was moments like that, with Ruka pretending he was having fun spending time with him, that his heart felt like it was being crushed.

Ruka likely wouldn’t care whether Flash lived or died, whether anyone at the ball lived or died. No, perhaps that was only an assumption, but seeing him become so instantly invested in the intrigue was harrowing in its own way. This wasn’t a fun spy mission, this had been plaguing Flash for weeks, ruining his sleep, testing the limits of his heartstrings not to snap. His beloved Opeila was in another man’s arms, one who had no love for her at all. His words in the letter to her still grated his insides like the sharp edge of a broken bone. Manipulative, self-satisfied.

Everywhere his eyes looked, he beheld people leaving behind their happiness, for what? Willow left her friend on the dance floor to talk to Rafael-- why, they looked like they had been enjoying themselves. Shouldn’t she have gathered her closest friends together and honestly enjoyed herself? Rafael left the adorable Lydia on her own so often that he drove her away-- why, shouldn’t he have delighted in her company while he had the opportunity? And then Ruka, dancing with Flash, for whom he had no love at all. Perhaps even animosity. Why. Did he think he would never run out of risks to take, until one simply took his life and relieved him of the misery of existence?

”No. Not just stories. People… alive and changing. Strange, complicated.” Flash’s facade was starting to drop, even though his act was not for Ruka, but for Vlad, or anyone that might have hoped the evening was a normal one. ”Messy.”

Ruka continued to answer his questions while they performed the steps as they were meant to be taken. Just as Flash had learned, like the precise movements of casting a spell. It had not been as easy for him, and his teacher had not been as gentle. What did it matter, who honestly cared what he had to go through to appear as immaculate as he did then?

Where was Burnett, anyway? Had he and Erin run off and left the party? If true, he would have been the smartest of any of them. Flash had the overwhelming urge to let go of his grip and leave himself. Not that it was an option. He promised he would stay beside Opeila. If he left now when she needed him the most, she would be devastated.

Not caring about people… predictable, shallow… wasn’t it just that Ruka’s world view had been shattered by too many slings and arrows of outrageous fortune? Was it not just easier to not care, and believe there was nothing left to discover that he had not already seen? Flash may have suffered in trying to please everyone perfectly, but at least he had also felt genuine joy.

Perhaps he still felt like an outsider, a silent watcher from above the playing field, but in loving the pieces he watched, he felt their successes and failures as if they were his own. What joy was Ruka gleaning from the way he saw the world? Or Opeila, or Rafael? Were any of them happy with the choices they had made?

Flash was letting the pieces do as they liked while he was occupied, and to disastrous results. A fight was breaking out, spells were being cast, hearts were being broken. Flash would have so much more preferred to be helping his friends, than hanging on the words of this Ravenclaw. Did he honestly have any intention of saying anything revealing anyway? Opeila had tried to convince Flash that this was worth it, that Vlad would underestimate her.

Flash didn’t agree. This whole thing was a mistake. He was sure of it now. Even though the touch was hollow, Flash buried his head into Ruka’s shoulder. He couldn’t tell what face he was making, so better to hide it. He didn’t want to watch things fall apart any longer, he just had to endure.

It was a week for Alan before the Secret Blossom Ball, having spent most of it planning his route and what to wear for such an occasion. The Young Lad was admittedly sceptical at first upon hearing it through the grapevine fearing it'll be another disaster. Alan was convinced that he shouldn't go until his best friend Griseldis came to him extending an invitation. Worried about disappointing the only few close friends Alan had, with gusto and a confident smile across his face he told the Lioness himself "Sure, I'll go it could be fun so long as you're there I guess." Although big crowds was a weakness, he didn't want to disappoint Griseldis

Mapping out how he was preparing to go the Quidditch Pitch with the least amount of obstacles and people along the way. Being a formal event, it took him longer to decide on what to wear. Alan rummaged through his trunk last minute as his Mother couldn't send the dress robes in time he managed to iron out a dark blue coat with a silver vest and black tie. Checking the time on his pocket watch, which depicted his mums' voice yelling at him "Al, you're going to be late, get going!" With not much other options and refusing to be late Alan quickly got dressed. Alan sported his white school shirt while placing the silver vest on top as well as the dark blue coat, fastening the tie in a rough Windsor style knot. Added with his black school trousers to compliment the dark blue jacket, Alan also wore brown dress shoes he received for his birthday this year. Despite running late and a last-minute outfit, Alan whipped out a comb to battle his curly hair smoothing it out. Satisfied with the look, he shook his head once only for the smoothness to return to its natural curliness, sighing with disbelief. Alan had yet again lost the war of combing his hair. The Ravenclaw quickly grabbed his school robes to keep the outfit undercover until he reached the pitch.

Upon reaching the Entrance to the Quidditch Pitch, Alan found the place to be just as lively as any game he's ever played. A little nervous about entering at first seeing the many students dressed so nicely for the occasion. A shred of doubt lurked in the back of Alan's mind a sense of feeling underdressed bolstered his nervousness made the boy reluctant into stepping out on the field. In his mind, he was continually reassuring himself with his inner thoughts "Don't worry Al it'll be fine...I mean these people had months I'm sure whereas you had a day, so it makes sense right?" Shaking his head, he took the time to scan the pitch looking for his friend and low and behold the familiar two brown buns stood out like a sore thumb. Seeing her alone waiting the young lad could not let this stand as his thought says "Well go ahead Al, your friend has been waiting for you just say hi."

Alan shook his head once more, with a genuine smile across his face he waved over his lonely friend calling out to her in the crowd approaching Gris "Hey it's me!" Once Alan had reached by her side, he waved and said "I made it see! It's not so bad" He shifted his eyes towards the crowd a couple of times, it was apparent the number of people left him uneasy. Still, as he looked at his friend wondering what she was wearing underneath the robe, he said: "So ready to go in...sorry I'm late was preparing last minute and deciding what to wear was quite limited heh." Alan appeared rather calm little hint of him stuttering as he was most comfortable with people he knew well enough. Making a joke knowing his friend was a prefect "So Gris am I going to be in trouble for staying out after hours or should I offer you dance once we go in to make up for it?" The young lad had no clue what was coming over him, but it felt right to Alan.

It was true – the request Rafael had asked of Willow may have been too much a price for any normal human being. And, under any other circumstances, dancing with any other girl, perhaps the request would have never been uttered into the open air, for fear of scaring his lovely dance partner away. However, it was no secret that Willow was far from ordinary. Granted, perhaps he didn’t know her all that well, but the fact that she’d blindly accepted his plea for help in the first place spoke volumes – anyone who knew the unruly boy, knew that his decisions were, more often than not, brash and impulsive at best. And, even in the case that she didn’t, she had accepted his impromptu plan. Such endeavors took a special breed of human, one that the Gryffindor boy was starting to see the characteristics of in the lovely Hufflepuff. A favor, he decided, would be a small price to pay. With the girl’s help, he would be one step closer to finding out what the hell was going on.

It seemed as if, in the midst of his ex-stalking endeavors, the lovely badger girl had proposed an answer to one of his previous inquiries – his face turned a deep shade of red at the realization of his own ignorance. He was screwing up with the second girl of the night, goddammit. Promptly scolding himself with a curt shake of the head, he considered his dance partner with an apologetic gaze, putting some semblance of a weak smile on his features. “That… really sucks, Willow. I’m sorry, truly.” His gaze flickered back to the Gryffindor boy, dancing with the snake the Captain had invited to the ball. The very sight of the fire performer, dancing with his Talent Show partner, caused his face to turn green with envy, jealousy crawling at his insides and disturbing his face with a sour sort of look. “Hey,” he muttered with a shrug, “if it’s any consolation, I could beat him up for you.” A smile tugged at his lips, his eyebrows wiggling in an attempt to bring a smile to the girl’s face. However, his offer was far from a joke. He’d fought Ruka twice before, what was a third time? His face, after all, was so perfectly breakable. But then again… at the sight of Flash, the boy’s heart dropped once more. What would the boy think, if he saw the Thunderbird decking his friend with benefits? “I’d asked Flash to the ball,” he muttered absently, his words on autopilot as he gazed across the dance floor. “He declined, said he was going with someone else.” He didn’t want to say anything else of the matter, instead opting to bite his lip, his thoughts swimming with thoughts of the lovely Slytherin. Why go with Ruka? What did he have, that Rafael didn’t?

At the sound of the girl’s next question, the boy shook his head, his charming smile returning to his features once more, albeit slightly haltered by his strong emotions. He had to fight the urge to turn back towards his ex, getting pummeled by females – was he safe now? Had Aurelia rescued him from impending doom? He would certainly see to that later, make sure the Raven was okay. However, he and Willow both had more important things to worry about. “I saw something,” he muttered quietly, his voice almost hurried. “But that doesn’t matter now. Look,” not breaking eye contact, he nodded towards Opeimir, still dancing within leaping range. “It’s time.”

It certainly was. Adrenaline was pumping through the boy’s veins, a frown tugging at the ends of his lips as he turned towards Vladimir. How would the blond boy react? Would he allow it to happen? Fight back? He supposed such things didn’t matter, for it was not his own health that he was worried about. It was in that moment that he turned, uttering to Willow a quick tidbit of instruction before the monster within him broke loose and attacked the handsome witness. “Just act surprised, yeah?” his voice was a mere whisper, barely audible over the chatter and music. He would spare her no more attention, only prepare himself for what was to come.

Any semblance of charm or nonchalance quickly vanishing from his face, replaced with a stark and acute fury – perfectly feigned, perfectly distracting. His hands were clenched, his blood slowly willed to his face as he turned towards Vladimir and his poor date, the anger radiating off of him in thick waves as his teeth grit together.. He was, for all intents and purposes, seething. It was then, that he released his grip on his partner’s hand, his dangerous gaze only continuing to sharpen in on his new opponent. He wasn’t at a dance. No, he was on an American Football Field, staring down the despised quarterback of the winning team. This certainly wouldn’t go over well. With a quick breath, he spoke, his voice booming over the noises of the Pitch. “HEY, VLADIMIR!” he yelled, watching as the boy’s face turned in his direction. “YEAH, YOU!” Perhaps the Captain should have felt embarrassed, nervous, that he was creating such a scene. He couldn’t. It was, after all, a distraction that Willow would need. This day would live in infamy. He would live in infamy.

“THIS IS FOR POTTER!”

And he sprinted at full force towards the Ravenclaw, leaping into the air in a well-executed flying tackle…

A genuine laugh sputtered out of Willow as Rafael offered to beat Ruka up for her. "I don't think that'll be necessary. I think I can handle Ruka on my own." She really didn't plan on handling him at all, if he was disinterested in her she would be equally disinterested in him. She couldn't keep putting effort into people that wanted nothing to do with her, and Ruka was one of the first people to make her realize it. It felt cold and brutal, like an act she was forbidden from committing. The Hufflepuff girl rejecting people? It seemed unheard of. Willow continued to examine Rafael's face, he wasn't a person that hid his emotions well. "Do you like Flash? Or were you trying to take him as a friend?" She didn't know the other two knew each other aside from the talent show, but there was obviously a chemistry on the stage as they performed together. It was just another thing Flash wasn't talking about to her.

Rafael was incredibly charming, a boyishly handsome face that no girl could resist if they found boys attractive really. It wasn't hard to continue to go along with what he asked of her, to get lost in his brilliant smile and forget what he asked you to. But Willow was more strong willed than that, she'd make sure to ask him what he saw later. While he was obviously distracted by the many things happening at the ball, the retrieval of the bag ever present on his mind. She simply nodded when he asked her to act surprised, guess it was time to put her acting skills to the test.

His face quickly changed, the charming Thunderbird having flown away and being replaced by someone angrier, scary really. His grip tightened before dropping the dance completely and staring down his chosen opponent. Willow feigned confusion, her dance partner leaving in the middle of a song? For what? Her short legs followed behind. Her hands grasped at his clothing, attempting to pull him back but she really wasn't pulling at all. "Rafael! No, what are you doing?" Her voice was panicked, worried, concerned. Some of the feelings weren't exactly fake, she was concerned about how all of this would end up. Her eyes flicked to Opeila, hopefully she would remain uninjured through all of this. Her heart wouldn't be able to handle the guilt if she were to get caught up in all of the fighting.

For Potter? How was Vladimir involved with Potter? She obviously needed to pay more attention to the wizard news. As Rafael launched for the boy, Willow pretended as if she was pulled forward by his leap and the flimsy grasp she had on him trying to 'hold him back.' Even though she wasn't wearing super intense heels, the two inches gave her enough of a reason to stumble a bit more than usual. As he would tackle Vladimir, she would attempt to pull the bag off of him without him knowing.

It was hard. Staying silent in response to something, that she wanted to respond positively to, was hard. She wanted to help him, she would try to help him, but she wasn't going to promise. The Gryffindor had never been one to make promises, that she knew she couldn't keep. If things went south her priority was getting him out, preferably in one piece. Not them. She decided after a moment, that she could try to help them, if the situation called for it, but she certainly was not going to save them. The lioness remained quiet, giving the young bird another solemn smile. No thirteen-year-old child- let alone, an eleven-year-old, should have to be faced with such a reality. Where did everything go wrong? And why? Why were children having to worry about if they were going to live to see another day?

Had the world always been this ugly? Yes. Hogwarts students just seemed to get the short end of the stick; whenever it came time for the fates to start dealing their cards. Xailah took Pericles arm, looping a slender limb around his own, as they began to walk away from the dance floor. "A good plan." She nodded in approval. It was mostly foolproof, but in her past experiences, there were those rare times where staying with a group was not ideal. People were quick to turn on their friends when things went awry. Not long after he had shared his plan, a god awful noise would be heard from the dance floor. Was someone skinning a Pygmy Puff? What was that? The highly sensitive metamorph winced, in response to the sound. "Dear god, that is horrible."

The lioness brought a gloved hand to her ear, as if that would block out other horrid noises. Hearing Pericles whisper, she was almost afraid that she had gone slightly deaf. It took her a moment to realize that he was only talking softly. "Yes, yes, I will talk to ruby." She waved to the bird dismissively, letting go of his arm. "You go fetch your last recruit." She gave him a gently pat in his shoulder. Xailah thought that he was going to go grab someone that was useful. Boy, was she wrong. She watched him head back to the dance floor, before making her way over to Ruby. "Hallo. Ruby correct?"

She extended a slender hand in the direction of the snake. "I don't think I've had the pleasure of having a proper conversation with you." The lioness had seen the girl in passing, but she never really spoke to the girl despite working with her. Actually, that was false, she had spoken with the girl. She had spoken with her a very, very long time ago, at last years Blossom Ball. The ball the lioness burnt to the ground. It was a quick exchange, and she doubted the girl remembered her from that night. She hoped the girl did not remember her. "I must say, your coat is absolutely magnificent! Where did you get it, if you don't mind me asking?" She inquired with a genuine hum.

Xailah looked down at the snake, wonder alighting her golden irises. Her focus on the girls attire, wavered however, as a ethereal blanket of silver floated by. Naturally, her attention was grabbed by this shiny thing. It was another serpent. One that she knew- not well, but enough to respect. And that serpent was sitting alone. Xailah did not want the snake to meet the same fate of the little Hufflepuff, Rosie Turner, from last years ball. Rosie had been left alone and well... she shouldn't have. There were a lot of things that happened that night, that shouldn't have.

"I hope you don't mind but-" Her gaze shot back to the Slytherin prefect, as if seeking approval, before turning. "Illowy!" She called to the silver snake, that now appeared to be consuming something. A little alarm bell went off in the young metamorphs head. After what happened at the Blossom Ball, she was quite surprised that the girl was even touching the refreshments. She waved the girl over, hoping that she would come to join her,and Ruby. "Have you met Illowy?" She turned back to the prefect, inquiring, but her attention was captured yet again- not by a person, but by several people. A brawl? Or were they bonding? She couldn't tell these days. "Oh my."

Before me, you rightly tremble. But, fear is not what you owe me. You owe me awe....
