Bearing Fangs and Consequences Open Closed

They were asking too many questions. Questions that Elena didn't feel comfortable answering right now. She didn't even know the names of anyone in this accursed place and yet here they were digging into her personal troubles. She guessed that in a sense, they were trying to make sure she wasn't going to go crazy or something but all the questions aimed at her one after the other sent her mind into overdrive as she shook her head in response not really trusting herself to talk pulling her legs up close to her chest as if seeking protection from some unknown enemy. "It's just..just..a..t-t-thing. I-I'm fine." She tried to mutter a reply, her voice weak as she glanced at the curious faces surrounding her.

"Just.. a heirloom?"

Yes, it was a family heirloom and a cursed one at that.

So many inquiries. Her head was going to burst from all of them. Why did they care about the blasted thing? They hadn't planned on coming across a crying girl in the restrooms let alone this fiasco. "W-Why do you..c-care?" Elena finally spoke after a long period of silence looking up, her eyes- red-rimmed from all the tears that had been rolling down her cheeks. Maybe she would humour them, enlighten them to the nature of the heirloom the girl held. "It's cursed." She said quietly eyeing the thing as if the skull smile compelled her to look..as if almost she couldn't bear to be without it but at the same time..it was a burden.

"It is altogether evil, full of Dark magic. whatever. It's the only thing that if I get rid of it, a lot of bad things are going to happen at home. I.." She stopped talking feeling like she had already surrendered too much information. Too much, if they would understand, they would leave her alone, right? "I didn't want it at first and someone close to me paid the price.......if you get my drift." Her fists were clenched but her expression told a very different story. A tale of pain, depression and agony yet she was not expecting any sort of comfort or sympathy. As she had been so lovingly told in that Howler, why was her story any different than any other's students here and for that reason, teh Gryffindor guessed she was almost mandated to partake in this painstaking time that would haunt her for years to come. "Please..no more. If they find out I'm telling anyone anything..I won't be safe." Safe from whom exactly was something only Elena knew best but the mere thought of their capabilites was enough to send shudders down her spine.

When Cassie heard the Gryffindor girl being surrounded by their Prefect and the other Ravenclaw girl, Cassie took attentive step towards the trio. There was an uncomfortable expression on the girl wear red and yellow but that just for a fleeting moment. The girl pulled her legs up close to her chest like she tried protected from herself from her surrounding or maybe from herself, Cassie thought to themself.

The girl said she was fine but the stuttered that come out from her mouth did a very little convinced anyone that surround her. The girl stuttered again saying why the other was care with her current situation. Then the Gryffindor girl quiet for a moment. She looked up to Nico, the Ravenclaw girl and Cassie. From where Cassie stood it was clear the girl eyes was bloodshot from all the crying she had done.

"It's cursed."The girl said quietly while eying the skull shape necklace. Cassie has to strain their ears to heard what the girl said. With this new revelation, Cassie seems intrigue but still keep the distance from the girl. Cassie did not want to overwhelm the girl even more. The girl explained that the necklace is evil and full of Dark magic. The girl also said if she get rid of it, a lot of bad things are going to happened for her back home.

She also told Nico and Cassie that she did not want to partook any of this from the first place and unfortunately someone that close to her paid the price. Cassie wincing at this. The girl said with pain and agony. For someone as young, -in this case older than the young serpent- she have to endures all of it, it is just heartbreaking.

Then she said almost pleading. She said no more. If they (whomever it is) found out this girl telling anyone else, she would not be safe. At this point Cassie understood that the girl just want to be left alone. For the time being, Cassie will only paid to the older Gryffindor girl from afar.
