And... Action! (Attempting to run to the other side)
The second path chose to be correct! She somehow managed to resist the urge to start dancing with the gnomes. They lead her and her group to the next part. Not experiencing any difficulties with it, she skipped along with the gnomes. Once they made it to their next obsticale the gnomes went away. "Thank youuu!" Saying this in a sing songy voice, she waves goodbye to them before turning to the matter at hand. Reading the riddle, she looks at the door. The keyhole was for some reason very small. Looking around, Hazel spots the key. Before she could do anything the boy attempts to cast Reducio on it. Nothing. Almost immediately the other first year girl saves the day and casts a successful reducio on it. Laughing under her breathe in a good manner she mummers, "Quelqu'un a pris de l'avance en classe." They put the key in and opened the door. Before they go through the boy casts a bravery charm on himself.

When they go through the door, they are put into a gorgeous yard. There was a pool in the middle of it all! As she admired this pool her eye caught an axe swinging in the middle of it. There was a grassy strip going across although the axe was still in the was. As Hazel listened to the young first year boy ramble about... something. All she caught on was some percent chance of something working. Really? Is he actually doing the math in his head to find out the percentage? To be honest, she was more focused on the axe. Having to run to the other side filled her with excitement. Bouncing on her feet, she grins at the rest. "I will definitely run first!" Looking back at it, her eyes fill with ecstasy and excitement.

Continuing to bounce on her feet, the boy slows down the axe using Arresto Momentum. Smiling she mummers a thanks as she watches it swing back and forth. Finally with one last bounce on her feet, she runs forward, attempting to time her run with the swinging of the axe.

ROUND 3 MOD POST

After George Calder's successful casting of the Slowing Charm on the axe, the axe's speed has slowed down to a sluggish swinging back and forth. It was as if time had slowed for the axe, so much so that the obstacle no longer looked so frightening. It was now significantly easier to make it across the path, as a person simply had to mind their step and keep their eyes peeled to dodge the axe. Excitedly declaring her intention to run across first, Hazel Nelson whispered her gratitude to George. She took advantage of the successful spell by her teammate, and off she went, dashing across the path! By sheer luck, the slowed axe missed the enthusiastic runner by just a hair. Hazel made it past the path and was successful. However, its seemed that the other boy stayed behind after casting the spell. Perhaps his teammate's attempt will encourage him, on top of the help given by his spell.
