It was midnight and no one was around...or at least that was what Michora Tosphell thought. She tip toed down the stairs to the front of the school. She walked silently to the front door. one creak, and she was dead. Michora silently reached for the door and slowly closed her fingers.
Now or never, she thinks. she opens the door very slowly. "got it..." she said, she walked outside and closed the door, as soon as she was outside, she took off her shoes and walked around in the grass. she laid down multiple times and looked at the sky, the stars were all out and clustered, they shone brighter than a modern day star would, the moon a beautiful tilted cresent, and the sky a beautiful obsidian black.
she sighed in relif that she hadn't been caught. her little night hobbies would ruin her Tosphell reputation. she grabbed her shoes and hid them in a bush and she walked again through the grass.
the magical creatures in their pens, slept soundly, the night was quiet and the air was cool and refreshing. Michora looked one last time around before walking further away from the castle. still on the school grounds but far enough not to be seen. She walks even further. and looks back...is that a silhouette? she thought. "Dang it my shoes are over there. but..." she says but instead she thinks of her reputation and status and hides behind a bush. "shoot, i think they saw me..." she said to herself, but she remained hidden just in case.

She climbed up the stairs one two steps at a time. The floor was slated marble with wisps of irredescent shines. Helena glanced at the clock watching as the clock striked twelve. Walking silently, she pulled open the door and then glances hoping no one was there. Shes done this for around a week now, climbing to the Astronomy tower, in her nightgown staring above.
The sky was a beautiful shade of blue tinted with gleams of gold high, sparkling. Helena stared above looking at the painting witch awe. So perfect with swirls of different shades and a gleaming tilted cresent. It shone below projecting such a perfect light. The night was perfect. This is her perfect.
"Perfect." she whispered, her voice dry yet sweet. Throwing her robes on the floor, Helena lowered herself to lie on the emerald shade grass when rustling came from afar. Shivers fell down her spine as she repeated, perfect. This night was supposed to be perfect. Absolutely perfect. Nothing could ever come and ruin her perfect night. The wind howled past as she tip-toed forward. Slowly, a figure emerged from the bush, revealing a small siloheutte. A girl with chestnut brown hair stood in front gazing with hazel eyes. "Hello?" I asked as I tried to recall her familiar face. The relisation hit her hard. "OH" she muttered out loud. The girl was the one Helena had met when they first entered her dorm. Michora Tosphell, a beautiful girl filled with love and kindness. How could she be here?

Michora Tosphell looked at the girl. "Um... Hi I'm Michora Tosphell, I think we met back in the dorms. right? um... Helena Fogalty, right?" she says, she stepped out from behind the bush, slightly blushing in embarrassment. " Um... Please don't tell anyone about this..." she says and looks around. "Was there anyone with you? er, around you? or following you?" she asked, hastily, her green eyes darting around, she inched near the bush ready to hide. Her green eyes looked darker in the night, her chestnut brown hair was blowing in the wind, and since it reached her feet it was everywhere. she wore a green nightgown and her pair of fluffy green slippers was in the bushes near the castle doors. "Um... I'm sorry...this must be so awkward." Michora laughed, awkwardly, but it kinda sounded relieved like she was okay with Helena to be near her. a blush silently creeped onto her cheeks. her ferret, Carrot, came out from her nightgown (through the neck part) she peered at helena with pure adoration. Carrot leaped at Helena and curled onto the girls head. "Carrot!" Michora said, but the ferret ignored her and sniffed helena's ear. "Sorry she's a bit weird. I'm surprised she didn't try to rest inside your sleeve or neck hole. she's always doing that." Michora said, Carrot Leaped onto her owners shoulder and slipped back into Michora's neck hole but her head still visible. "squeak squeak!!" she says, and stares at Helena. "Squeaaaak!!" she says, it was a cute and not terrified squeak. "Shush before you get us in trouble!!" MIchora says and pets the ferret. "Again sorry..." Michora says, the ferret dissapears in her mothers gown.

Denisse was never really a fan of rules. For her, midnight was always the right time, where the old castle got noisier with its whispers and the shadows seemed to breathe. She left her room easily, with no shoes making soft sounds on the stone floor, the cloak trailing behind her like a phantom.
She wasn't searching for danger, not precisely. Although, somehow, she always could end up finding it. Denisse stealthily crossed the lawn as if she did not want to disturb the night itself. She didn’t want to overhear, but the voices brought her closer. On this evening, she listened and noticed people talking somewhere distant from her. The nervous giggle of Michora. The quiet soft words from Helena. Denisse gave a sly grin. So, she wasn't the only one who snuck out.
The grass squashed under her steps as she got closer, her brown hair shined with moon reflecting on it. She stopped so a branch would make a sound. Then Denisse moved ahead, eyes shining with mischief.
“So,” she said, “I see I’m not the only one who couldn't sleep.”
Denisse senses the excitement of being a surprise third wheel. She wasn’t here to judge or expose anyone; she was simply here to see what happened at night if three individuals are put together under the same crescent moon.

Michora Tosphell Jumped as soon as Carrot scrambled into her nightgown. "so" says a girl behind her. "I see im not the only one who can't sleep." Michora turned around, carrots ran out from under the nightgown and tackled the girl. Michora was about to grab her ferret but then Carrot laid on the girls head. "Silly girl! Quit it!" Michora scolded, she picked up the ferret. "I am so sorry, for her behavior! She usually likes to...well...she likes to try out other people's clothes. Not like that! I mean, Carrot likes fashion just as much as me and she'll just slip into someone's shirt..." She said, looking down. The ferret playfully bit her mother's hand and tugged. she was gentle. "Carrot doesn't understand boundaries!" Michora jokes, she smiles. "So, why are yall out here? I only came out because i always like to sleep under the stars. at least me and carrot do." Michora laughs. "so, yall?" she smiles, Carrot kept tugging on her mothers hand. "Paitience, Carrot." she chuckles, the Ferret gurgled and kept tugging. Michora looked at both Helena and Denisse. "Oh yeah, what is your name?" Michora said, she smiled brightly, she put her ferret on her shoulder to hand shake both of them.

Michora’s bright smile eased the tension, and Denisse felt the night grow warmer despite the cool breeze. She offered her hand with a gentle smile. “I’m Denisse,” she said, offering her hand with a gentle nod. “And… I suppose I’m out here for the same reason as you. Sleep doesn’t come easily when your thoughts won’t quiet down.”
Her voice softened, almost a whisper. “The stars help. They remind me that worries are small compared to the sky.” She glanced upward, the crescent moon glowing above them, then back at Michora and Helena. She lowered herself onto the grass, folding her hands neatly in her lap.
For the first time in many nights, Denisse felt her heart ease. The worries were still there, but under the stars, with Michora’s laughter and Helena’s quiet awe, they didn’t feel so heavy.
