QUIDDITCH PLAYS
Your available actions are strictly tied to your assigned position and current game situation.
[1]. Common Actions for All Positions

* Dodge: Attempt to avoid an incoming Bludger. This often requires a roll against your Evasion (EVA) stat.
* Fly/Travel: Move your character to a different part of the pitch (e.g., crossing into the opponent's half-pitch to prepare for a goal).
* Strategize: Coordinate with teammates OOC (Out of Character) to align your posts for a specific play. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

## Position-Specific Actions

* Chasers
* Pass: Throw the Quaffle to another Chaser. Successful passes may grant bonuses to the receiver's next move.
* Score/Goal: Attempt to throw the Quaffle through one of the three hoops. This is usually a roll using your Accuracy (ACC) or Nimble check against the opposing Keeper.
* Steal: Attempt to intercept a pass or take the Quaffle from an opposing Chaser.

* Beaters
* Bludger Hit: Swing your bat to redirect a Bludger toward an opponent to disrupt their turn or potentially "injure" them (forcing a sit-out).
* Protect: Intercept a Bludger aimed at a teammate to keep them safe.

* Keepers
* Save/Block: Defend the hoops against an incoming Quaffle throw, rolling against the Chaser's accuracy.
* Pass: After a successful save, throw the Quaffle back into play to one of your Chasers.

* Seekers
* Search: Scan the pitch for the Golden Snitch.
* Chase/Catch: Once spotted, engage in a high-speed pursuit to catch the Snitch and end the match. [1, 6, 7, 8, 9]

APPEARANCE. Caelum stands at an average height. He has olive skin, which he inherited from his mother, but everything else seems copy-pasted from his father. His hazel eyes are slightly downturned, paired with a straight, prominent nose with a rounded tip that naturally gives him a mean or intimidating look. His lips are thin with a defined cupid’s bow, often curled into a sneer or frown. His jet-black hair has a naturally curly texture, something he absolutely hates, so he constantly brushes it flat or messes it up to make it look straighter and less noticeable.

PERSONALITY. The easiest way to describe Caelum is that he’s a troublemaker. He has an incredibly short temper and tends to lash out whenever someone pushes his buttons. Instead of studying or acting like a “good kid,” he’s usually caught doing strange, reckless, or unnecessary things simply because he felt like it. He enjoys playing pranks on his classmates and siblings, everyone except his little sister, whom he loves more than anything in the world. Despite his grumpy and mean exterior, Caelum has a surprisingly soft heart underneath it all. He isn’t a bully, and in fact, he despises bullies with a passion. He’s deeply sensitive, though he rarely shows it openly. Whenever he gets emotional or hurt, he tends to bottle everything up and bury it deep inside himself rather than talk about it

BACKSTORY.Caelum was born on 14 January 2014 as the fourth child of pureblood Maria Ascanni and half-blood Thomas Ascanni. Growing up with three older brothers was… an experience. They never treated him badly, but he often became the victim of their sibling pranks and teasing. Because of the larger age gap between them, they rarely shared the same interests or got along particularly well. To make matters worse, all three of his brothers were very talented and smart. His oldest brother became a medical student, while the other two were gifted to played the piano and violin beautifully. Compared to them, Caelum constantly felt inadequate. He grew up feeling pressured to become just as talented or successful, even if nobody said it directly. When he attended primary school, there was an older student who regularly stole lunch money from younger kids. One day, the boy targeted Caelum’s friend, and Caelum finally snapped. That was the first time he used his fists to solve a problem. Both boys ended up receiving detention, but his mother took the incident especially badly and scolded him harshly for it. From that moment onward, Caelum began noticing the disappointed looks she gave him whenever he got into trouble, and those silent expressions affected him far more than the punishments ever did

FIOM. Caelum’s first instance of magic happened when he was eight years old. His little sister had just turned two, and she really loved apples. One afternoon on the way home from school, he noticed a neighboring yard with a tree full of ripe apples hanging over the wall. Determined to bring some home for his cute sister, he climbed onto the outer wall to reach the lower branches. But no matter how hard he tried, he kept slipping and falling back down. Frustrated, Caelum punched the wall in anger only for every single apple on the tree to suddenly fall to the ground all at once. At first, he stared in complete shock. Then, naturally, he convinced himself it was probably because of his "immense strength" rather than accidental magic. Feeling extremely proud of himself, he gathered as many apples as he could carry in his passed down bag and brought them home to share with his sisters.
